For those who are complaining about the weird controls of the flying lesson, all you have to do is reverse them under the options menu when you push pause.
This game is fun but there are some adventures that just get on your nerves because you can't pass. Plus sometimes it is unclear where to go and what to do.
If you are a harry potter fan, definitely check thisgame out. the graphics are good and some of the games are clever.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a pretty good game but the controls aren't the best. It's annoying that you can only save at certain points in the game, but the sound and the voices are really good. The controls make it difficult for little kids. The Quidditch controls can be reversed, which makes it a little easier.

What's the deal with the Peacock?

My family, husband, myself, 5 year old daughter, eight yearld daughter, and nine year old son; played this game as a family. We had a LOT of fun until the Peacock. That kinda ruined our fun and took way more effort for the kids and required more of the parents to complete the quest. Next time go a little easier on the feather thing!

I got Ps1 for my 10th birthday and I got Harry Potter and the
Sorcer`s Stone as my first game. It is realy fun and challenging.
It will be great the WHOLE family!

This game was mostly interesting because of getting to explore Hogwarts. The Harry Potter books are about Harry's life and it is kind of hard to make a game that completely follows the books. If you want this game get it for the PC.

This was a really great game. It followed the movie and their voices sound how they did in the movie. The graphics are great for being a playstation game. So you're probably wondering why I only gave this game 4 stars? The game was too easy! I rented it first to see if I'd like it but I was able to beat it in only a day and a half! Other than that it was a great game.

This is the best Harry Potter game so far. The best part of it is playing quidditch. Hint: to open some of the pictures talk to the two boys and they'll tell you give them every flavored beans and they'll tell you the password. This game is pretty easy until the end. Make sure you explore Hogwarts and the school grounds.

i've seen pics of the game. Graphics are great. Harry Potter's great. This game is going to be great. My sister and I have been waiting for a game like this.

I've heard that you can't get pass the quidditch. Well you can , instaed of following Ron Weasly, turn the other way and you will be led into the dungion whair Professor Snape is and then you go to his classroom.

This game would give a kid (or adult) a chance to be Harry Potter and realy live the magic! Take a step in his shoes in this game for Playstation!
