I think alot of people were thinking about amazon when it came to Halo 3 legendary edition i was mad when i couldnt get this legendary at Game Stop because i didnt pre-order it but amazon is a great way to BUY it. Its a great edition must BUY game edition its worth the price completely. and it ships really fast i choose free shipping for 8-9 business days but it came 2 days after. SWEET!. So if your thinking about getting Halo 3 this is your best choice the special features discs (3 discs total, 2 special features discs) is great all the Halo 3 videos including "Starry Night" and all the Vidoc videos and never seen videos. GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!!

This game is awesome and so is the Legendary Edition. The helmet is cool cuz u can use it as a hold for ur game.

The package is cool, but I was expecting a little more in terms of bonus materials. The story was ok good ending to the series.

The packaging on the legendary package was great and I'm loving having the helmet, it's a nice add to my living room entertainment center.

The story line of this was good but it was pretty short, I only played it for like half a days worth and it was over. I even found 4 of the skulls in that time. The multi player aspect of the game is were it's at though. The best of any game out IMO.

It's been rumored that there is another Halo in construction but it may be a movie. We'll see what they do. I would like to see this go to a H4 but IDK if they will be doing this, there is a slight possibility but they did kill some of the game for me, so we'll just have to wait and see.

For $99.99 it has to...

1. Take me to work.
2. Bring an HD-DVD drive with it.
3. Solve the 360 heating issues.
4. Not lag a milisecond in xbox live.
5. Solve the freezing screen in the 360.
6. Give me a discount in a 2nd wireless control.
7. Give me a xbox live modder free.
8. Take a walk with my dog.
9. Cook.
10. Clean the dishes.

Don't get me wrong. The game will be AWSOME, but the price tag for this item is too HIGH! The helmet is not wearable and after a couple of weeks will serve you to keep more dust in your house. I will buy the collector edition, 'cause it has the extra stuff without the ridiculous price tag of the helmet.

I love the Halo franchise, however both Halo 2 and Halo 3 were a let down in My opinion. As far as the Legendary package goes, there wasn't enough included with it for the price that was being asked for it. The helmet could have been bigger. Halo 3, from what I've read from all of the books about the games, is actually the other half of Halo 2, so Bungie and Microsoft sold us out for game content and story plot.

Where's the rest of the story? I personally preferred Halo : Combat Evolved over these 2nd and 3rd games. I plan on making my own Master Chief helmet with the one from the Legendary package utilizing resin and clay.

I loved Halo 1 .. sure it lacked online matches. But, in Halo 2 they got it all right. I can't wait to see what are they pulling for Halo 3. The trailer's very good, the graphics looks awesome and, gameplay is supposed to be similar for the old halos, yet a bit better. Just waiting for the beta to make sure :) .

Halo 3 Not All That Great

I'm a huge fan of the Halo franchise and was ecstatic to finally get this set in the mail. Unfortunately when I started to play it, I notice that there was no difference from the fist Halo game, same jungle layout and very few indoor areas.

There are more flaws with this game, then the other two Halo games. For instance the Flood are in greater numbers and far more annoying. They come at you in much larger waves then the second Halo game and you run out of ammo and are forced to use the [...] of your gun.

The thing that really pissed me off the most was the fact this game is way too short. I finished it in about a day, which makes me wonder why the hell they shorten it so much.

The new guns and vehicles are cool, but you do not have much time to enjoy them because the game is too short and the new guns are interesting, but not enough ammo lying around to keep yourself loaded. Going even further it's a lot harder to try and get in enemy vehicles this time around.

All this hype about Halo 3 falls dead short of being the greatest game of the year. The game could have been longer; the story could have been much more involved.

Bottom line is, it's worth getting this cool Halo package, but this is one disappointed fan who thought Halo 3 was going to be the best and instead Halo 1 and 2 are far better.

anyone who spends $130 on and freaking video game is a idiot. i dont care how much money you make or how much time you have to kill thats ridiculous.

the game is really fun, just get the regualar version save like $70 dollars!!! i mean cmon people...the only helmet this game should come with is for the any retard that wastes this much money

HALO is more than a phenomenon

Ok, so the game is coming out in november07, halo 2 was a good but not great sequel to the almighty halo1, halo3 is like halo 1 and way way better. Hence, it's a given that the most anticipated game of all time will no doubt get 5 out of 5 stars or say 9.8 out of 10, if not, then Resident Evil 5 well you know, I dont even need to say. I mean here's a project that has drawn the likes of Peter Jackson of LOTR fame to make "HALO4" and a possible HALO movie. XBOX 360 rules as the medium on which super kewl stuff can be xperienced and this proves it. I hope this is nintendo's last "fun_ny" console, honestly metroid prime "4" would be super sweet in HD- my arms hurt.
