This game is pretty fun, although it is extremely difficult. The graphics are nice, and there is a large variety of courses and racers. Being one of the few 4 player racing games currently out for the xbox 360 makes this a great game for playing with friends. I definitely recommend this game, especially if you're a racing fan.

Best racing game on the 360 so far.

You don't have to be a motorcycle enthusiest to pick this game up and have fun. In fact, you pretty much just need to know that motorcycles have 2 wheels and can drive really, really fast. A lot of people have been complaining that this game is too tough, but I haven't figured out why. I don't have any difficulty keeping the bike on course (only took me one full lap at race speed to figure each track out) and the AI is generally slow even on champion level. I haven't unlocked legend yet, but I'm hoping it gives me some competition considering I won each and every race I've run so far.

Although, for the casual gamer the experience may be frustrating. If you've never played a racing sim before you may have some difficulty training your brain to tell your fingers to slow the bike down way before you want to in order to make corners correctly.

The tracks look amazing, the crowds are lifelike, and the graphics are just stunning. The music sucks though so I reccomend turning on your dashboard's playlist.

As much as I love this game, I only gave it 4 stars because of the fact that my copy seems to crash my 360 quite a bit. I've emailed THQ and they haven't given me any kind of good advice yet. However, I won't let that stop me from playing the game because overall it's the best out on the 360 so far.

I don't how these other people can give this game a good review. I've been trying to get some enjoyment out of this but I'm giving up.

If you're used to the Moto GP versions on regular xbox and Playstaion 2 or Tourist Trophy on Playstaion 2, then you'll be very frustrated with this version for the Xbox 360. It seems they must have rushed this game out. I've been playing Tourist Trophy (since it's release), which is an amazing motorcycle game, and it's miles beyond this game. I'm a huge racing fan and i thought i might just have to keep playing to get used to the dynamics of the controls, but so far I have not been able to get any satisfaction out of this game.

All the previous Moto GP versions for regular Xbox blows this away. I was excited to get this game thinking it would be the next level since it was for the 360, but it is a step down!!!

As far as graphics; this version looks more like a cartoon than a realistic racer.

Conclusion:
-i'm gald i bought this used ($24.99 @ Electronics Boutique), because I'd be pissed if I paid $59.99 for this.
-try to rent this game first before you buy it.

i liked it until i found out my disk was broken

If you're looking for an arcade style racer, look somewhere else. This game has a very big learning curve. Unless you've played previous MotoGp games, dont plan on picking this one up and being good at it the first time you play it. You'll have to put in a few hours before you really get the hang of it. But once you do get it down, its one of the BEST racing sims out there. The sense of speed and graphics are both amazing. This is also one of the best games on xbox live.

People need to know this game is not for everybody. Its not one of those racing games that you can get out on the track and just floor it the whole way through.

Control Control Bike Control

I think I'd have better luck pulling a I dream of Jennie head bob to get the bike to stay on the road. This game takes the fun out of the first time open and play factor b'cos you can't keep the bike on the road. This one takes a lot of practice and isn't on of those games you can have your friend play with you if he/she hasn't played b'4, so that kills the fun aspect of the multi player game. Believe me when I say if your the type that gets upset when playing videos games this one you might wanna skip. The only reason I learned to control the bike is b'cos after buying the game and getting frustrated after several days of trying to keep up with 15 other bikes, I had a choice.........either use this fine 360 game as a beer coaster or force myself to finger out how to control the bike and get my $60 worth out of the game. If I could have done it all over again I would have bought Quake 4.

Great graphics, yes. Gameplay BITES. In addition to bug mentioned in other reviews, it is very difficult to control your bike. I mean, "somebody greased the track with shortening" difficult!

I played the free demo, and admittedly it was tolerable. What do you expect from a pre-release demo, right? Then MotoGP06 hit the shelves and (thankfully) I RENTED this title for 5 days... I PLAYED it for 1 day, and it collected dust on my shelf the other 4 days (I think at one point I actually decided to mow my lawn instead).

Very disappointed with this lackluster effort in gameplay.

A True Racing Game

I will have to echo McAllister's comments. MotoGP '06 is the best racing game I have ever played and I have played quite a few. It is as close to realism as it can get. The most impressive aspect of this game is not only the graphics but the game's ability to replicate the feel of a Racing Bike on a track with the exception of the occasional bug in your visor. If you are a couch potatoe who has never raced a bike then do not purchase this game; if you are an avid motorcyclist then you MUST buy this game.
