Think your brand new PC will be able to handle this game? THINK AGAIN!!! Buried in the fine print of the requirements for this game is the horrifying truth. You have just wasted $30 because you don't have the correct hardware built in to your graphics card. And you can't return open software, sorry. You've been tricked like the rest of us.

Now your 6 year old is in tears, and you are the bad guy because you won't spring for another $100 to upgrade your BRAND NEW COMPUTER. Lego, Eidos, and Giant are really making a name for themselves on this one!

Can't review a game that won't run on a new computer

Don't buy this game unless you are absolutely positive that it will work on your system. On second thought, just don't buy this game at all. I spent $30 on this game for a birthday present and now have a heart broken son because it won't work on an almost new Dell computer. I can't believe that a game would be sold without warnings on the box if it won't run on a new computer with Intel graphics. I'm sure alot of us don't know the exact numbers and specifics of all the innards of our computers. I'm going to look closely at who makes any of the games I purchase in the future and if it's from Eidos I will not be buying it.

I can't get the game to play because I don't have a graphics card that supports Pixel Shaders v1.1

So I bought the game for $20 but now need to pay $75 for a graphics card and get it installed somehow????

UGH!

Maybe some of you folks should read the "system requirements" before buying computer games. Don't put down the game just cause you don't read the fine print. Be a good consumer!

This is a super awesome game that never stops and has all these fun unlockables. Sadly I had just to more super kits to get(super kits are things you get by collecting all the studs wich help you unlock the bonus level)but they were on really tough levels so I entered the cheat to get invivceablity and then it cut and said there was an error. so went back to the saved game and everthing had been erased from studs to charecters! anyway i have no clue what happened.

This is my son's review:
Lego Star Wars is so exciting and fun. It can be difficult at times if your playing on the computer. You can be your favorite character for any level once you've done it once. There are 17 levels over all and each one has another challenging thing and fun. If you collect enough Lego studs then you can buy characters, hints you can buy from Dexter the Alien. I hope you have fun.

Great fun, graphics, and sound effects. The gfx card requirements are steep but once you get the game going, it is a blast. Keyboard-only controls were a concern, but my 4-year old picked them up in no time. Game contains all characters from Episodes I-III, and once you beat the 3 episodes, you can purchase good and bad guys and use them in free-play mode.

This game was INCREDIBLE!! I loved it and I think anyone who likes well, Legos or Star Wars (or video games in general:) ) will not like but love this game. It's exciting, and has great graphics (Considering that most of the graphics are of small, plastic pieces) This game is one ton of fun! I reccomend it highly!

Terrible support

Bought this game for my 7 and 5 year olds (PC version). They played it for a week and were loving it. Then the game quit working. Tried tech support and got the instructions to e-mail an error log file to their support e-mail address. Got no response after 1 week. Tried again. Still no help. Called and put on hold for over an hour and then gave up.
