This is a great game! I like that it introduces Star Wars I-III to my kids. They are too young to watch the movie, but the game is more innocuous, so it's ok. They beg me to play it, so I have to set up a timer to monitor how long they play. I highly recommend it.

Interesting game

For all the Star wars fans, this game is a complete radical way to enjoy the Star Wars Universe. Yes, we know this is not the exact game for the die hard players, but at least, I have got a lot of fun with my 5 y.o. child and we spend hours playing (of course after doing the homework and the everyday duties. As a whole video game it is quite simple and easy to play, no need of complex strategies, so you can finish the hame in some hours if you are an experienced player, but the fact of having the family together solving the episodes and going to the films to have a better understanding, in my personal point of view is something that not every game can achieve. If you want to live again your childhood having Lego and Star Wars together in a way you spend quality time with the family, his is the right game for you.

I love the game and so did my kids, who are 5 and 6. they can actually play with some adult assistance. However, DO NOT GET THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A nVIDIA Chip!!! Otherwise it will not play or run. How that happened, I will never know, if you do not have the chip you can download a fix that will quit and kill the game right in the middle. Hopefully the Complete Saga fixes this, because Starwars 2 Lego did not have this problem.

Good game, but occasional random crashes

Star Wars Lego I: The Video Game
Good PC game, with excellent graphics. However, at random times the game crashes in Windows XP Professional (Media Center edition) with a pop-up to report the problem to Microsoft. Technical support from the vendor provides a "cop-out" response that perhaps the video card drivers are not up to date. In my case, they are, but the crashes continue.

I purchased the Logitech Rumblepad (with vibration support) to use with the game, but was disappointed to find that the game does not support vibration like the XBOX version does. For a second controller, I saved some money by purchasing a Logitech Dual Action controller.

Great Game, but buggy

I loved the Lego Star Wars II game so I decided to pick up this one as well. The game is fun, but just not quite on par with Lego Star Wars II. It is a bit buggy, but there is plenty of support online. I had trouble with it starting after the first time I ran it. Turned out to be a simple problem to fix after reading the forums (just deleting a file). I would highly recommend this game to anyone!

My 5 year old LOVES it

We started with star wars lego II and had to add this to the collection. My son's dad who started all this says the 2 game is much better, better graphics, or made to go with newer computers or something. I don't play these, but our son LOVEs them both and is a wiz. He says I is good and he switches out between I and II all the time. He loves the characters, the themes, the levels, etc. I think you can play with 2 players. We got a second joy stick so he can play with Dad and his friends, tho his friends are not good enough and he gets frustrated, but having the 2nd player makes it fun. (I think 2 is more 2 player ready, but I think one does it too, not an expert here).

Anyway, great video game for a star wars fan. Even tho it's violent, it cracks me up to see the little lego pieces walk around and explode, and they pop right back together again. Goes great with the LEGO star wars building sets, all the pieces look like the lego which is so cool!

Installation problems and slow responses

My kid has Star Wars 2 - The Original Trilogy, and we were very happy with it. So we wanted to try this other game, and we have been very disappointed. On one computer the installation failed, while on the other computer we were able to install it, but the game is slow and the characters respond very slowly to the keyboard commands. Very disappointed.

This game is a complete waste of money!!! Installed the game fine but it won't run! There are forums full of the problems with this game. Wish I would have seen them before I bought it. Also requires administrator privaledges to run game!!! Non-existent customer support.

Very fun!

I am not a big gamer. I own a Wii because I like interactive games, not 1st person shooter games that take you a couple of months of very concentrated effort to beat. That is why I love this game, if you die, eh, no big deal, just come back to life where you were and keep playing. Sort of challenging things to get through the levels. And if you don't manage to die very often, the result is worth it.
