BEST GAME EVER!

This is by far my favorite game. It is packed with levels and many secrets to uncover. You can meet my favorite character Yoshi. In four different colors. There is yellow green blue and red. Each with its own ability. Exept green and blue. You can be Mario and Luigi. And there are three items to help out your character. There is the cape, which helps you fly, the fire flower which gives you the ability to shoot fire balls, and the mushroom which just makes you bigger. So, overall I rate this game 5 stars. And I advise you to buy this game if you like challenges.

Mario and Princess Toadstool have come for a relaxing vacation.... until Bowser capures Princess Toadstool!! As Mario and Luigi begin their adventure they meet Yoshi, a nice dinosaur who gives them rides. They have to defeat the Koopalings in all seven lands. They have awesome tasks to defeat Bowser once and for all. I like this game because Mario and Luigi get to defeat Koopalings and go through all kinds of great places and compete to get to go to other lands and meet new Koopas.

It just sometimes surprises me exactly, what video games seem to be all about, and thensome. Especially, when you don't have the system for it at first, but get it at a later date. Well, anyway that has started to become a constant for Nintendo. They have started to reissue some of their most classic games onto the Gamecube, and Game Boy Advance. Still, that does make it into a whole new game. The Mario Brothers legacy has remained that constant. The brothers celebrated their 20th anniversary last year, since the first Mario Brothers game 1983, and a whole lot of players in regions from all over the world. Yet, although their story remains easy now, it always comes back as a fan-based groove for many people all over the world.

Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, is a real surprise, as one of the first Super Nintendo games, put upon the Game Boy shelves. What makes this game work so well, as a new introduction to the Game Boy Advance. The game was a big smash before, and yet nothing else has changed to the advance, but the gameplay. The game features 9 different worlds, and the debut of Yoshi. In this game, Bowser is at his old tricks again, and you and Luigi, and Yoshi have to encounter all different kinds of outrageous feats, and courses, which really test your strength and skill. Although it is nothing new if you've played it, and beat it for the Super Nintendo system, you only get it again, because you haven't played it for so long, and need the groove again. The graphics are beautiful, and just keep showing promise in its prime, and the enemies also keep getting harsher, including Renzor, the Koopa Kids, which made their debut in Super Mario 3, and a whole lot more than meets the eye. It gets exciting with time passing, but also a feel of the plumber has sat true here.

All in all, the game remains as a classic for Nintendo buffs, and is a must have all over again. If you haven't played this before, you don't know what you're missing. This is a must have for the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Player for the Gamecube, and the Game Boy Advance SP.

Not bad, but...

...May I ask what was wrong with the original SNES version? I mean, okay. They may or may not be able to completely accurately reproduce the exact graphics and sound of the original SNES on a GBA screen, and I don't mind including a very basic "Mario Brothers" game the way they did, but I'm a little upset that, like LTTP, they added a lot of repetitive and dumb-sounding voiceovers. I mean, I usually LIKE voices in video games, but only when I don't have to hear the same line over and over.
Additionally, the graphics colors were definitely not as sharp as I feel they should have been. Certainly not up to the SNES level.
One of these days, Nintendo should come out with something called "classic SNES series" in the vein of their current "classic NES series" of games, which will FAITHFULLY reproduce the original games without butchering them or decorating them like Christmas Trees.
But I digress.
The text means the same thing, but is worded differently, the presence of luigi running back and forth gets very annoying and...
I think that's it.
The game's story is really the same, and as far as I can tell, the level structure is exactly identicle. This is why I gave it as high a grade as I did. If they had tried to mess around with the gameplay like they did in the rehash of Donkey Kong Country, I would have rated this game much worse.
But they didn't, so I didn't. It's not perfect, or faithful, or respectful to what has come before, but it is at least similar enough to feel somewhat like the old.

Look, this is a reveiw: I currently live in Japan which means I've had acces to this game way before the release date in the U.S. This game for the GBA is just the same as and just as exciting as the original for SNES. The sounds and gfx are outstanding and, even on the small screen, things are easy to see. The controls are basic and there are multiple spaces to save your games in progress. Child or adult, i recommend this game to any fan of Mario games.

The 2nd best game ever!

Nintendo has come a long way over the years and they've never come out with anything better than this (I'm talking about the SNES version, I've barely played the Advance version). It's kind of pathetic of them, this game came out in 1993 and now, 12 years later, they still don't have any games better than this. My brother is a video games master, he beat this whole game, got to special world and beat that (I'm not talking about star world, I'm talking about special world) and he did all of this without a strategy guide or anything. He just put it in and figured everything out. There are still one or two levels that he doesn't know how to get to, but he has beaten Bowser and everything. I've beaten a lot of the game with his help in telling me what to do. Anyway this game is amazing and I recomend going to ebay, finding an old Super Nintendo and this game and buying them. It's worth it. (By the way if you saw that I said this was the second best game ever, I think the first one is Starcraft).

Ok, this is not much of a review, but i just had to post it to calm some people. I was just looking at reviews of this game, and i noticed some people saying that they were mad at nintendo for making this game instead of SM3. Just to let you know, when GBA 1st came out, Nintendo said that they were making SMRPG(Super mario advance 1), Super Mario World, and SM3.

Great game this game has all kinds of great secret levels such as Top Secret Area where you can get an yoshi, feathers that alow Mario and Lugia to fly, and red power-up mushrooms. The game also has awesome graphics instead of a blurry screen like the old Super Mario World on the Super Nes. There is a bunch of other cool stuff about this game, but overally it is a great game.

Very Fun, Just too easy.

Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo was the first ever video game I played, and I simply loved that game. The Game Boy Advance version of this game is just as good as the original.

In this game, you try to rescue the Princess from Bowser's Castle. You get to his castle by beating the levels, and the bosses at the castle in each world. There are 96 levels in this game, and that includes secret levels that you need to find a key or go through a secret exit in a level to get to.

This is is quite easy. I beat all 96 levels by the time I was in second grade, but this game sure is fun! This is a must have game for the Game Boy Advance! You won't be disappointed.
