Luigi is Better

What I think is good about the game is you can be Luigi.Luigi is a better jumper than Mario, and only a tad slower than Mario! Also when Luigi is riding Yoshi, Yoshi can spit out shells right away!

THE END

Definatly the BEST

This game is awesome. THe game has a total of 99 levels. All of the levels are tough so that makes it a difficult challenge. You get to choose between Mario or Liugi. I think that Luigi is better because he jumps higher.I am currently on the 87th level. I have just ordered a guide book to help me. There are 7 different sections of the game in each section there is a boss. In the 7th section you have to verse Bowser. The funnest part of the game is star world. In starworld a secret level gets you to special world. This game is @WE$OME

I got this game for Christmas and it is definetly the best Mario game out there that I have tried. The Super Nintendo Mario game is really fun, but the graphics are poor. The graphics on this game are very good. The only problem is that some levels are a bit frustrating for a while, and some take forever to complete, but once completed, a wonderful sense of accomplishment grows on you, making this game the best ever!!!

Super Mario World - need I say more?

Really, should I? If so: this is probably the ultimate Mario game! The levels are huge, the enemies, at times looney, are often entertaining and challenging, and you go to ride around on a tiny T-rex who had a tendency to devour enemies whole. Not to mention those Dragon Coins which beckoned to the novice item collector and tried the patience of many a hardcore gamer, I'm sure. Virtually everything is true to the original version. So what are you waiting for? BUY THIS GAME!

This game is a little challenging, but I got the hang of it now

This Super Mario World 2 is a very challenging game - it includes characters as in Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and other characters. On level 5 its very challenging, you have to go into the castles and when you get to the doors, push up. Then, you have to run past the part where booby traps try to smash you. If you get through that, then you do the tilting seesaw and jump on iggy so he goes into the lava. There are many more levels, but I've only gotten to the 14th. I don't know much, but I'll keep going.

How can you beat a short plumber who shoots fire out of his finger and rides a green dinosaur that eats everything? Simple, you can't. Super Mario World was by far the best game of its generation and possibly all time. The port of the Super Nintendo classic will be great! I will buy this as soon as it comes out, possibly sooner (the import will work with all American systems!). I'm going to push my GameCube aside and break out the old Super Nintendo just to get my Super Mario World fix today!

my mom really likes this one

Let me tell you, my mom really loves this game. She can't really use a computer that well, so here we are...I sit here and type and she yells the review out to me. Right now she is saying something about

1) mario looks cool (graphics)
2 great soundtrack
3 no ninjas anywhere in sight
4 no stupid wind tunnels

Nostalgia at its best!

I remember when this game first came out on Super NES years ago. It was mind boggling, and I loved how we got our first look at Yoshi! There were so many Yoshis. LOL. The graphics were great, gameplay was addictive in short it ROCKED! Anyways, this game is a classic and I will be the first one in line to get it! :)

Mario games as of other platformers always were a bit of a challenge for me, my person srtong suite is fps games, however I enjoy a varity of genres. This game though makes me mad. I'm simply stuck halfway through, I know what i need to do but I just dont feel like replaying this one level just to find some key or something of the sort. Doing the same mission over and over gets repetive to me, however this is no different than any other mario game so i cant fault it for that. If you like mario games you'll like this game, but if youve never played a mario game before and are easily frustrated, i'd suggest to stear clear of this game or any other level based platformers like it.

This is an old classic, but it cannot overshadow Mario Bro 3

The game is good and then some. There is so much to do, you may never do it all.
The story is that Peach is not in the witness protection program and gets kidnapped once again. You and Luigi must save her.
On the map you can alternate between Luigi and Mario just by a press of a button. All in all, it does not matter. The game is no harder or easier. Luigi has a better jump but is slower than Mario.
In the levels your goal is to get to the end without dying. The twist in this game is that any red dot on the map means there is more than one exit. And many of them are hard to find. Upon finding them, you are able to gain access to a different path on the map.
This is a must. You will see dotted lines everywhere in a certain color. What you must do is find a certain special exit and you get to go to a block palace. They will fill in the lines with blocks that match the colors. Now these blocks give you access to new places and sometimes save your life.
Running around in the levels, you get four different powerups and they vary from mushroom to stars. If you had Mario before, you know what they do. The new addition is Yoshi. He can add an extra hit to your life and eat enemies and more! Plus, by special exits, you can go to star world. Beating a level there the right way will give you access to a new yoshi. Some will turn enemies eaten into fire while others can fly when they have any enemy in their mouth. They appear at random
The bosses can be brutal. Each boss either has three or four hits. You must find the special way to beat them. This will be easy, but causes you to keep readjusting throughout the game.
You may never do everything.
You need help to do everything. So buy a strategy guide.
