This game is friggen awesome. I'm a skater myself, and i hav to say the variety or tricks and graphics r great. The mini missions are challenging but fun and VERY addictive. This game will never leave you bored.

This game is just not worth the time. THPS3 is better, save the money and get that instead. The music is terrible, the missions are just annoying instead of fun. The levels are just jumbled messes. The controls don't work verry well. I felt like I was playing Aggressive Inline, but it sucked more. This game is why you need to play the game before you buy it, cause if you do, you won't.

i love tony hawk games. this one took me by surprise. its so fun and realistic!this is a must have game. it is the first game i own(for ps2).ive played every tony hawk game and this is the best.
How can THPS4 not be good !?

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't own the game yet, but I'm getting it on the first. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series are the best. They are some of the few games you can buy and be guranteed you bought a good game that you won't regret. I haven't even played a demo yet ,but because this series has been so good and the reviews are pretty decent I'm gonna buy it. I can't wait to play as Bucky and get some sick air. I've seen some previews of the games and they look heck of awsome. You got some sick new tricks and I saw this really fun thing. It was a skater riding in a shopping cart.LoL. Anyways I'll write a new review on the 1st when I get the game.

Well... I like this game unlike these other people who just don't know what the heck they're talking about. It's better than THPS3 and I like THPS3 alot. I hope this review was helpful.

I never received the game. It was supposed to be shipped by 02/17/03. I am extremely disatisfied with this site. I will never order from it again.

Too much to say in too little of a space. First of this is a much more realistic game, no more handrails that are as tall as you and no more halfpipes and ramps stuck in the middle of the street or in other pointless places. Although the graphics are not greatly improved the gameplay definately is. You dont have 6 foot ollies and you cant kickflip over cars. You can now hold on to the backs of cars and ride through traffic making transportation to another part of the level much faster. The characters are better developed and the levels are so much better and harder than ever before. Also in park editor you can add goals, hidden tapes and combos. There are also many new things to choose from. In the college level you can play tennis with your boars or even shoot some hoops. This is a must buy game and will end up being one of the top christmas presents. (if everyone hasn't already baught it yet). This is a great game that is much improved on the last one and is a must-buy for everyone.
Possibly the best Hawk yet!

The classic Tony Hawk winning formula has been modified, upgraded, and tweaked to near perfection.
Unlike the previous TH games, the Career Mode has been totally restructured. Every time to start out on a level, you start in Free Skate mode, meaning you can skate around, learn the levels, check everything out, to your heart's content. You skate up to people within the levels to trigger the missions. There's a time limit on the mission, but whether you pass or fail it, it reverts back to free skate mode when you're finished.
The new flatland and skitchin tricks are great too.
Trust me, if you have any doubts about "another Tony Hawk game", you won't be disappointed with this one. Its a top-notch game thats a must-buy on anyone's list.
