I actually purchased this for my husband for our anniversary (strange gift choice, I know). We LOVE it! It never lacks in things to do. After you unlock all of the songs, challenge yourself to complete older songs on 'medium', 'hard', or 'expert'. We have gotten most of our family and friends so addicted that they've purchased it for themselves!

I was waiting for the Wii version of this game to be released for over 8 months, so when it finally came out I snatched it up. I was especially interested in the multi-player aspect of this game. We have played this game with adult friends and 8 year of nieces, and each time we had a blast. We also were able to involve our 3 year old girl, who was able to have fun playing at the drumset while Mom and I were playing guiter and vocal.

We bought the game for my sons 6th birthday after playing it at a friends house. We love to play it as a family. It is very addicting!!!

My 10yr old couldn't wait to get Rockband...Now the whole family plays and has a blast! I think it has brought out the inner rock star in all of us...probably better off being left at home...
The drums are alittle harder to learn, and like any drums the banging will make you alittle nuts, I suggest putting the game in a play room or bedroom. I don't know what I was thinking agreeing to the family room!

This is a great title.
People have been giving bad reviews because of what it lacks.
GO DO RESEARCH AND STOP CRYING ABOUT IT. ITS YOUR FAULT NO ONE RIPPED YOU OFF OR LIED TO YOU. You should know what you are buying before you spend your money

Don't compare to the others and you'll love it!

The title say's it all. Its it own game! We played it last night for hours and had a ball! It maybe better on others systems, but it doesn't mean that on the wii it sucks.

Defective-hastle of return information

Rock Band Special Edition
I ordered Rock Band from Amazon because of the savings over other stores and my previous satisfaction with the products that I bought from Amazon. This was a gift for my daughter and she was very excited when we received it in a week. The game was great for about 2 hours. She really enjoyed both the drums and guitar. When we tried it the next day the guitar did not work. The paperwork said to contact EA directly on line not to return it to the seller(Amazon). After going through 20 or more screens checking information it finally came up with a number to call, not 800 free. In order to replace the defective product I needed to give a credit card and have a $125. hold to ensure I returned the defective guitar and wait 7 business days to get the replacement. What a disappointment. Nowhere on Amazon did it say that would be the case. When I contacted amazon, they listened politely, offered to return the product, but did not have a solution for this situation. They offered no compensation for the inconvenience. I will be significantly LESS LIKELY to buy electronic items from Amazon in the future.

I bought a mod-chipped wii that allows me to play my games as well as back them up & play the back up's. With 2 kids it's a necessity as the discs tend to get scratched. Unfortunately, EA put something into the game that does not allow it to be played on a chipped console. That bites! I guess I'll return it or sell it on ebay!
