A really entertaining game!!

I cann't imagine anybody who could not like this game. It's about Yoshi and baby Mario, and Yoshi is trying to get yoshi to his parents because when a stork was delivering Mario and Luigi to their parents, Luigi was stolen, and Mario and the map that the stork was using to get to where Marios parents live, fell to the Island where the Yoshis live. So one of the Yoshis found baby Mario [and the map] and decided to first gather Luigi, and then go to Marios parents living site. It's a really fun game because in the journey, you have to beat "bosses", you make eggs and trough them at bad guyss, you collect items to help you on the way, and the pictures are cute! [hahaha]

One of the greatest vgames ever made

That is one of the greatest vgames ever made, why? because for the gameplay and the replay value.

I purchased this to my girlfriend who love mario games. She has never played the SNES version and instantly felt in love with this gem.

A must have for anyone who likes Mario vgames!

Pretty good game...

This was the first game I got for my GameBoy Advance SP, and it was a great one. Very entertaining. Some levels are pretty hard, but if you put some time and effort into it, it's great. I'm on the last level right now and I can't get past it. It's very hard, but who said games were supposed to be easy. I think begginer gamers, and master gamers woulld all be entertained with this game. It's perfect when traveling because you don't need all the consentration in the world, like some other games. I gave it 4 stars(I subtracted 1 point for the difficulty of some levels).

Great!

This game was awesome! I really loved all the different colored Yoshi's and how they made a big chain to deliver baby Mario.

Nintendo should be ashamed!

After such monumental games like Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World, Nintendo released this incredibly sad game (They made up for that when Mario 64 came out). The graphics are so chilish that it's distracting and you can't really see what's going on! Yoshi is almost impossible to control: he can't jump high at all, and that hovering thing he does serves no purpose. Aiming with the eggs is not that easy, either. Add that to the ANNOYING crying of baby mario, and you have a horrible game that should NEVER have been re-released.

I would have enjoyed this game much more if the graphics had resembled Super Mario World. It would have been much better if baby mario was just a decoration on Yoshi's back and did not fly away and cry whenever Yoshi got hurt. It should have been like other marios, where if you get hit too many times, you die. The bubble with baby mario in it is too annoying to chase after, because the crying gives you such a headache that you can't concentrate.

I just hope that if Nintendo decides to release any new Yoshi-themed games in the future, they won't use this game as a model. It's just plain sad.

this game is fun

I have all the Mario games for Gameboy Advance and decided to get Yoshi's Island to add to the collection. I ended up selling it because I didn't like it at all. Yoshi moves around to fast and it's hard to retrieve Mario when he falls off Yoshi's back. This game is frustrating and it's a huge disappointment compared to the other Mario games I've played. I don't miss "Yoshi's" island at all. I wouldn't recommend this game to anybody.

I didn't like it !

If you like to find secrets, this is the game for you! This game has over 200 secrets, is a lot of fun playing and very entertaining, baby Mario is so cute riding in yoshi's back, the thing I like is that the enemies can become your allies.
Buy it you won't regret it.
