Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a lovely addition to the GameBoy Advance classics. The game itself is colorful, cute, and imaginative. While controlling Yoshi, the cute species of dinosaur living upon Yoshi's Island, you struggle to deliver an infant Mario to his brother at Bowser's castle using a relay system of Yoshi. Battle creative enemies, solve challenging puzzles and use your special Yoshi abilities to overcome obstacles. This game is a magical addition to any collection.

Yoshi's island is great. I liked it so much, I beat worlds 2-5 in 1 day and and had over 60 lives! And a tip, with Bandits, have 6 eggs, the maximum, and hit him with every egg.the first 3 will leave coins, and the others are lives! It's useful in the potted plants castle in place 2-8, and the cave of the bandits in place 6-3.And Fuzz balls that make you dizzy are in three levels and if you like touching and eating them, like me, just stay in the zone where they are in place 1-7. These tips are very useful. try them.

so fun and so cute!

I just got his game yesterday and I'm addicted! the graphics are so colourful and friendly! the first level was kind of easy but it gets so hard in the second level. i like how there is no time limit and most items are easy to see and find just sometimes challenging to get to! each level is compleatly different so you don't know what to expect!I recommend this game for everyone!

Looking for game? Looking for action? Looking for a super-cool green dinosuar dude? Yes! Yoshi's Island is the game for you! Can you help the yoshis save baby Mario and Luigi? This game is great! I beat it three times already, and I never got tired of it! The animation is great, and the bonus games are a nice touch. One of the cool things about this game is that you can play the levels over and over again! Try to beat your old score. Yes, it is possible to get 100 points on levels because I've done it on some. You just have to find lots of secret areas. I guarantee you will be 100% saticfied!

When I got this game, I expected something like the old Mario games. But when I started playing it, I didn't stop until I beat it! The storyline is about when Mario and Luigi are babies and are being delivered to their parents by stork. But the evil Magikoopa, Kamek, rams into it and steals Luigi leaving Mario falling through the sky! He lands on a Yoshi on Yoshi's Island. A map falls with him. He talks to his friends about it, and discovers that Mario knows where Luigi is! So the Yoshis take turns with Mario on their back and journey through the 6 worlds. Will Mario and Luigi ever see their true parents?

It is the coolest game ever with yoshi + mario put together in one game. The best part about it is that it has sleep mode in it (which is not in many games), and all it means is that you can turn off the game boy (but not really) and when you turn the game boy back on (you press R,L,and select)your back at the same spot that you turned sleep mode on and you can countenu playing!

I received this game for a long vacation To San Francisco. It will give you something to do, as said on the other review below about playing it on the train ride. I got it shortly before I left for the Kansas City Airport. I immediatly became immersed into to the Mario World. The game's plot is about the early ages of the Mario World. It starts off telling the story about how Mario and Luigi were seperated as babies when Kamek attacked the stork that was carrying the brothers( you can skip to the start menu if you have already watched the story )(when playing the game). It tells how the Yoshi's devised a plan to reunite the two brothers. Long story, but anyways, The game is very fun and will last along time from all of the different and exciting levels there are. There are 6 worlds and 2 Bosses per world. The bosses are pretty easy, Bowser is a bit difficult though. The graphics are very well illustrated and tweaked to fit the GBA world, but are very well preserved to the original SNES version. The plot is very good, the levels colorful and original, and fun and classic characters. The game is like a relay for the 45+ Yoshi's in this game. Each level you control a different Yoshi. The Controls are pretty easy , you get the hang of them pretty quickly. Every time you are hit by an enemy, Baby Mario floats off your back and you have to retrieve him by touching the bubble or hiting it with an egg in the given amount of "baby mario time". The enemies include all the classics like the Koopas, many different shy guys, monkeys, flowers, fake 1 ups, goombas, white birds, jello monsters, Pirannah Plants , and Bowser. Some levels are hard, but if you try them enough you will eventually beat the level. It also comes with the Classic Mario Bros mini game. It says it has the old NES version on the box, but it is a mini game. It is very fun. You have to get all of the fiends that come out of the pipes( this is where the plumber theme came from) it is very fun when you want to take a break from Yoshi's Island. All in All, this is worth it, and it is also a Players Choice game.
