This Expansion Set is very buggy. Many people are successfully running it but many are not. Check out some of the fan forums at places like TSR Sims Forum and even Maxis' own BBS at their official Sims site.

It looks like a great expansion if only it will work. I am yet to be able to send a Sim to Studio Town without it crashing and corrupting my house files.

If you have had any trouble in the past with Sims expansion kits before, WAIT UNTIL (and if) MAXIS RELEASES A PATACH! DO NOT BUY UNTIL THEN!

Sims Superstar.... Easy or hard???

Well the Sims Superstar is very good but it's VERY hard becoming the superstar. U see ur sims have to be promoted up some levels like the other sims but it takes about twice as long. My best sim is a Player (3rd or 4th from the star) and it wasnt easy. all the stars allready there are snoody and u get promoted by the # of star buddies u have. So U need to raise 2 stars at once, at diffrent properties.

Its hard but once ur at the top Its all fun-n-games!!! there is still regular jobs (crime medical police ect.)Autuall its worth 4 1/2 stars. Relly nice game but maxis needs a exp where the sims can drive to work, and places with services(police, hospital)!!!!!!!!!!!

I know everyone has favorites in The Sims world. I enjoy the Hot Date expansion pack best, though I've learned to appreciate the House Party expansion and the Unleashed expansion (keep me away from those pets). But like the Vacation expansion pack, I found this one to be really undesirable.

The worst part? Because you actually work in "sim time" you never get a moment's rest from your sim. And home life becomes secondary to keeping up with all your famous friends.

It doesn't work on windows 98 and that is a huge problem because all the other ones are installed on that. For short the game crashed om me. Oh well I guess makin' magic should help with that.

The Sims Superstar is my favorite sims game. It is the Bomb! It has alot of better stuff and the [butler] take cares of babies and the house. I am dieing of what will they bring next? Maybe it will be for Cars i really hope so and a free garage for 1 car.

I purchased Superstar with trepidation. I'd read about the bugs. Example: the speaking bubbles are now empty. Word of warning, if you do not have a TON of memory (well over the 128MB recommendation) you will have a very slow game. I personally have 512 and a few trips to Studio Town makes my game run slooooooow. Too many and I crash.

I love this game! I got it after having teeth pulled, and when I started playing it, I completely forgot about the pain. Although I find it hard to get past 2 stars, I love making my Sims famous. I have this with Makin' Magic, along with other expansions, so when my Sim got fed up with her obsessed fan, she turned him into a toad! Anyway, overall this is a great expansion pack.

THE SIMS IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD!

The Sims is a great game. It is SO addicting! Everyone should own this game! The best thing to do is make you and your dream house-then make your family and your family's dream house! One of the great things about this game is that you can become famous! So everyone who wants to become famous or likes computer games should buy this game. THIS GAME IS THE BEST IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Game was pretty cool. The cool part was going to Old Town and buying pets. The part that I didn't like was all of the strays. They show up ALL THE TIME and the only way to get rid of them is Shoo them(which takes forever) Or use a cheat code and delete them.(Which is what I do) It is really fun you go to old town and buy a cat,dog,bird, even a guinea pig! All around it is a pretty cool game

All of the sims games are the best you can make them live like you want to live or turn their lives upside-down and you can design your own houses. You can also choose what clothes they wear and what they do.
