THE OTHER REVIEWERS SEEM TO BE ON TRACK. YOU MAY HAVE TO PLAY SOME LEVELS A COUPLE OF TIMES, AND AN IN-GAME SAVE WOULD BE NICE. OVERALL, THIS GAME WAS FUN...THE CONTROLS WERE EASY TO GET A GRASP ON, AND THE GAME PRESENTED ENOUGH CHALLENGE WITHOUT BEING A BREEZE. THERE WERE A FEW ROUNDS WHERE THE FORMAT WOULD CHANGE AND I WOULD GET IRRITATED. AFTER PLAYING SEVEN ROUNDS WITH ONE CAMERA ANGLE IT IS HARD TO SUDDENLY WORK WITH ANOTHER FOR ONE ROUND.
THIS GAME HAS GOOD SOUND AND GRAPHICS AND PAYS SPECIAL ATTENTION TO DETAILS. LEVELS ARE GUARDED BY BOSSES, WHICH I THOUGH WAS A LITTLE SILLY, AND DIDN'T FIT WITH THE INDY THEME, BUT THIS GAME IS A BLAST.

Pretty cool BUT...

The ending was SO disappointing after all that great action. I really wanted a bigger ending after all that I went through. Collecting all the artifacts was fun but I feel like I should have gotten a bit more...maybe an extra level or something. The lack of midgame saves was EXTREMELY frustrating, but I did LOVE the gameplay. Jumping, fighting, whipping, swimming, flying, shooting-it was all awesome and some of the ways to beat the bad guys were really cool. I just loved knocking Nazis over the ledges by throwing bottles at them-one toss and they fly over the edge! Hilarious. I also avoided a nasty underwater Nazi fight by tossing a couple of grenades in the water where they were. TRES COOL! If you don't feel like trying to outswim the crocs in the first level (except for one certain one-you'll see when you play.), you can just whip out your ole' machete and fillet the little buggers-way fun! All in all, it was a pretty good game but the lack of saves and the ending really took a lot of the joy out of it for me.

Like always, I check out my games' reviews. Then I buy it. I always think, "Is this worth the money becuase it is a lot of money?" This is the best hand to hand combat game I have ever played and the funest. (I play a lot of action games) It is a great adventure/action game in my in my opinion. In the beginning it teaches you all kinds of moves and starts you off easy. Then it goes to actually thinking like Indiana Jones. But it doesn't drive you crazy until you pull your hair out. It is a big game and I would recommend buying it. (I did buy it and it is awesome!)

Good concept and storyline

This game has a good concpet and storyline, and it plays better than Tombraider, since I am a fan of Indy. The only reason it did not get a 5 star is that it is BUGGY. It seemed it was rushed out of production with very little QC. The perspective sometimes would not be correct, and Indy could walk through walls, or being shot through walls. They could do a bit better on the graphics, since there are still quite a few polygons here and there. Overall it is easy to get started without reading the manual and the controls are easy to remeber and learn. I bought this along with Metal Gear Solid II and I found myself playing this more than the MGSII.

THis game is the best![.]

i just got the game and man! i'm speechless! the graphics are so freaking good, it's like being in the game alongside Indy!
now let me tell you one thing: the hand to hand combat is a blast!! i just love to just go at the villains and just punch and kick the hell out of them. The moves are so realistic, my jaws just dropped. i was waiting for that game for a very long time and am really not disappointed with it at all!

Pretty Graphics, Frustrating Game Play

I was excited by the prospects of a new Indy game. This one has dazzling graphics, very good sound, and a rich story line.

The game play, though, tarnishes the experience. Lacking a mid-level save fuction, you're doomed to repeat tedious sequences again and again. Also, Indy easily falls off of things and gets himself stuck in tight spaces while the bad guys are attacking. Underwater movement is especially frustrating because of the extra element of air supply.

Pay attention to the system requirements, as processor and graphics requirements are high.

Indiana Jones Returns

This is one the best games yet! You don't have to worry about saving the game because it saves by itself. it's not like Halo where all you do is kill it's more of a game where you have to find your way through life threatning obsticals. If you don't buy this game or don't even rent it you are very stupid!!

great game but no save points

It's a great game but no save points between levels so it does get hard but it does not get repeatitive. i give it a 4.5 out of 5 for graficks gameplay gets a 5 sound gets a 5 and lifespan gets a 4.5 so 4.8 for a final score. Pick it up if you love indiana jones!... Like me!

Good game with some flaws

Although a captivating, if not adventurous, a more exciting Indiana Jones. I was astounded by the brawls I had with many of the enemies I had to face; each fight made me impatient for the next fight because of its effectiveness and realism. Highly valued stuff!

This game is harder with the amount of almost mind-boggling puzzles you must solve, but with the frustration, the rest of Emperor's Tombs' values compensate this.

The sound is pretty much in place with nice, crisp sounds of one of Indiana Jones' special weapons you must attain in Emperor's Tomb, and many other sounds are very real, that's one of the entities that raised my hopes up for the game. Harrison Ford's voice is right on the money, no change here, makes this game even more valuable. The Indiana Jones theme music is so convincing, the way it sounds--makes you try harder in a battle!

A couple of flaws, though: Frame rate is bitter at times, sometimes altering the progress of infiltrating the level, which makes me angry at certain moments. The story isn't without its glitches; during Indiana Jones' cutscenes with Mei Ying are almost uncomprehendable, specifically pertaining to the plot.

But the best thing of this game is is that there is an array of levels. From the jungles, Hong Kong, to the Nazis chasing you in some amazing chase scenes, or blowing up Nazi airplanes from a gondola with the sunset with an unstoppable machine gun is one of those aspects of an excellent game you don't see too often.

Like I said, "highly valued"!
