Gameplay is good but the voice commands only fuction about 80% of the time; very annoying. I had to give up on the voice commands and use the buttons.

this game is the single most best game on the xbox console. it is way better than halo because you can issue orders and it is first person (unlike halo where it is only first person and your teamates are running around getting thenselves killed). I highly recommend this game and it is a great price at Target! Once you get this game i think many people will agree with me! I am waiting for Halo 2 to come to and it is gonna have some competition when Rainbow Six; Darksheild comes out!! Buy this game and you will have a bast!!!

Some people on here are whining and complaining that the XBOX version has been updated from the PC version Raven Shield. Let me start off by saying this game is not Raven Shield. They updated the graphics from the PC version, made a whole new story, and went through and re did the levels. Some people are saying, why doesn't the XBOX version have all that planning and everything that took an hour to complete before you actually got to the game out? They took it out because the console market is different then the PC market. If you read the reviews and heard what the people who made the game said, they tell you that no one who owns a console wants to sit there and plan everything out for a half hour before you actually get to the mission. Console gamers want to have some planning, but only to a certain extent, and then get into the action. If Rainbow Six 3 had all the planning, it would have been a dissappointment, and would not have sold as much as it has. They should have done a little better job with the game, they could have made the animation and graphics a little better on the people, and they should have made it able to shoot out the lights. Although those are not huge issues, it would have made the game better. If your looking for a XBOX Live enabled shooter, this is the one to get. You won't be dissappointed!

Rainbow Six has always been a classic game.

This game is T I T E. I've been playing Rainbow Six ever since the old PS1 days. I have all the rainbow six games ever made. I love sneaking around corners and throwing MP3 grenades down hallways at people. I get chills just thinking about running in a room to empty my .45 clip in some guy's chest. Plus, I love trying to beat all the levels in lone wolf mode. If your wondering how I play all levels by myself here's the secret. Shoot all your partners dead...then continue the level as if nothing ever happen. Finally, to all those so called serious online players... as soon as krazy ps1 fan gets good enough to beat levels by himself I'll be joining the war online!! Watch out for Ding Chavez moving around by himself; it might be me and I might have a .50 caliber w/full clip. ^_^ LOL

Awesome game!, but kinda hard

I've only played this game on the Xbox magazine demo a couple times, but it's extremly fun, but prety tough! You can pick your guns, grenades, etc. at the start of the mission!

I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes Tom Clancy or any gun game out there!

I just rented this game and so far I'm only on the 2nd level. This game is tough, I love 1st person shooters, so I had to try this out, and its really tough. The graphics are great, the weapons are awesome, and the game is fun, but the only real thing that is confusing is the controls, I get it after hitting 2 differnt bottons, but that can be difficult during a shoot out. I like that you can tell your team what to do, Like how to enter a room, like blowing the door going in fireing your weapons, opening, throw a frag grenade in then killin' the left overs, opening throwing a flashbag in then go in fireing, or just simmpley opening and shooting. This game is differnt then Splinter cell but much much better. You can choose your weapons, you don't have to spend 2 hours picking a lock, and you don't have to do all this spying and wall crawling. Get this game next time you go some where for a game, but also buy the stratgy guide.

NOT AS GOOD AS I HAD HOPED

This game was not any good at all. You were the leader in command of your own little anti-terrorist group. The game had many complicated commands that you would definitely need to use on a regular basis. It was not a game that you could flow smoothly through and definitely not a game that you cold beat in one day. Also the graphics were not especially good. This game is ment for very serious gamers who are willing to devote alot of their time into playin this game. NOT FOR CHILDREN!

Funny name . Serious Gameplay

As all Tom Clancy's this game holds true in two-respects. A. it is blindingly difficult and B. it has Destroyed already high Tom Clancy hopes. I,personally, despise the single player campaign. The voice command is to say the least hit and miss(i.e. my air conditioner was translated into "Flashbang" I swear to our Lord Almighty." To make up for this is the steller X-Box live play(the best I have ever seen(16-players) even though I remarkably both suck and blow at the same time.) There is also the funtastic Terrorist hunt level-nuf' said. The graphics are astounding, though, as usual the music is somewhat lacking. I suggest turning the music off and listening to the heartwarming feeling of the light pings of empty cassings complementing the dull thud of a Tango's face meeting the asphalt.Buy it,Love it No Questions asked. Semper Fi carry on.
