This game is a must buy for all people who like war games and is not going to be a dissapoint ment for you. What can I say that has not already been said if you have seen the advertisments for it. You are in a Special Forces Squad that makes sure the war doesnt become any more than it has to be.

a realistic game.you get to blow up tankes scuds and sam sites kill dozeons of iraqi s soliders.from rescuing pows and soliders to killing general aziz.you get a varity of weapons like machine guns snipers m16 c4 charges ak47 ak74 and rockets.you get to disarm a nuclear warhead.you can be the british sas or the us delta force.you can achieve the medal of honor.you can play cooprative missions.you can be up to 4 guys. bradly the rifleman foley the sniper conners the heavy weapon speacilist and jones the demoltion man.you can go into the desert sand and ride in a millatary jeep and a tank and us smoke screens set up crossfires and use night vission googles us mrls strikes multiple launched rocket system and laser deginate bridges and tankes. i can t wait to get the next one.

Okay first off I was anticipateing this game to be great. Well it kinda went under expecttations to be met. Now this is a pretty solid game throughout but i have some quarells with it.

Pro's:
Pretty damn challenging game. I mean HARD!
Good, Solid grapics and environments.
C'mon you get to kill Saddam!!!!!
Cons:
Nothing spectacular.
Awful auto aim. It targets enimies closetest to me, not the ones who are SHOOTING at me!
The target cross hairs move you back to your default position at a nosiating speed.
We can tell that's not real voice acting, trust me.
Overall: 3.75/5

This game isn't what I expected. It just amplifies the notion that America is good and the other country is bad. PLEASE! God Bless America... for what!
Anyway, this game is just mindless shooting and emphises the fact that war is a game. The best part in the game is when you get to ride in a jeep. Instead of this game, get Ghost Recon or SOCOM: Navy Seals. Man, that was a waste of [$].

i thought this game would be a lot better than it turned out to be i personally liked socom: us navy seals better this game(desert storm) has very weak graphics for a new ps2 game..i probably would expect this from a playstation origional game but i think the graphics in socom are a lot better

What's with 2 hour tutorial in the begining of the game. It felt like a never ending complexity of instructions and directions and...use this camera angle and this button does this..but you can only do this....blah blah....that is how you choose this.... I just want to play....finally. I have no idea what's going on with this game. But judging by the graphics, sound and control not much time was spent in design....It's junk. Maybe if I took some time to learn how to play. Maybe not....I'm just no interested. NEXT!

This game, released only a few months before the ill-named Operation Iraqui Freedom, is an obvious manipulation of public opinion and propaganda. The fact that this game is intended for people as young as thirteen, who don't have any real knowledge of what is happening in the Middle-East is astounding and makes it apparent that it is just another attempt to reinforce the status quo of America=Good, Saddam=Bad, while the truth is and will continue to be America=Bad, Saddam=Bad. Save your money and don't buy into corporate produced, highly patriotic games which only reinforce the notion that war is a game. The use of video footage from the battle field, the jargon of "smart bombs" and video games such as this one are an ill-concieved, yet seemingly effective strategy to take pressure off of the real situation, one in which you can't just continue after you're shot. ...

Opportunity creates a dissapointing game.

Conflict Desert Storm is a game that you know wasn't necessarily made to conicide with the latest conflict in Iraq. However you can tell that the effort stopped with the announcement of said confict. The game just seems unfinished, and lack of polish in gameplay doesn't cancel out the fairly good graphics. Pick up Socom: U.S. Navy Seals if you are really instrested in a good military combat game. This game promises much but doesn't deliver.

Great graphics, great idea, great game play, but I beat it in 2 days after renting it from Blockbuster. Since there aren't enough missions and too easy I give it a 2 star rating. I prefered Hitman 2 it has more missions and is over all more fun since it takes longer to beat.
