Gran(d) Turismo

The game is astonishing. More cars than you can use, graphics that make real life look boring, and gameplay that will give you the urge to break your leg so you can stay home and play it. Music can make a game really anoying but in this case you might just want to listen to the music and let the cars lap you 5 times over. The realistic feal to the cars make the game even more enjoyable. If there is anything wrong with the game it's that you may not want to quit, especially for something as stupid as going to eat or sleep.

Visually Stunning & Utterly Enjoyable!

GT3 is an absolute masterpiece to look at. Ever watch SpeedVision on Cable? Well, now you can be in it. The graphics for GT3 are simply breathtaking. Whether you're in the Alps with the Sun shining thru the trees or on a Mountain track with the Sun peeking over hills, it's all absolutely life-like. Even if you are not a big fan of playing racing games (some of you parents out there), it's still an absolute joy to watch.

The gameplay is also wonderful. The analog-sensitive buttons are great. Instead of just tapping the foot break button and having your car skid out of control you can actually put different amounts of pressure on it for more gradually breaking. I found this feature to be wonderful.

The amount of cars available is huge, they're all beautiful crafted pieces of art as well. Whether racing around a Speedway or mudding it up in a Rally race, this game is by far the best racing game available today - on any platform.

VRooooooooooooooooooooooooom.

Best Game I Have Ever Played

This is one amazing game. It has everything a person would want in a game. Beautiful graphics, excellent music, music that rocks, and cars of our dreams.

Graphics: The graphics are the best of any game ever created. The courses are beautifully done. The environments look like they are from a fairy tale. The cars look stunning (Maybe even look better than their real life counterparts).

Music: The music is fun to play with. It the player an adredelin rush.

Gameplay: This game's gameplay follows a simple formula: fast cars + good music + responsive controls + beautiful graphics = a game that is fun to play.

Ok,I'm not a real fan of organized racing, but when I got Grand Turismo 3 A-spec I loved it. With over 40 different cars from hit dealers like Ford,Toyota, and Nissan and much more, from 8 different counteries. You will race oppomemts at awesome tracks. The graphics are simply outstanding. No matter what type of cars you like they will be in this game. In this game a great car to start out with would probaly be a PT cruiser. Honestly, this is one of the best PS2 games ever.

This game has to be one of the best reasons yet to buy a PS2. This game shows off the true power of the PS2 with stunning graphics and incredible physics, this game is defintly one to buy. Not to mention, that with the steering wheel it will be better than ever. If you are a die-hard racer or have never taken a liking for racing games, you owe it to yourself to buy this game

I recently renterd this game after hearing how great it is. My father and I were playing it and had a hard time controling the cars, we both felt that we couldn't control our cars and all we did was weave and run into rocks and everything else. The graphics on the other hand were wonderful and as great as I had heard.

Boring

I picked this up hoping to have a great racing game. I had heard great reviews about and figured since it was $20, why not buy it? I was wrong. I first started with simulation mode. I bought my car and found out it took too long to buy better parts or a different car. Plus the races were very challenging. I finally got better cars, souped them up and raced them, but I still was having problems on turns and things like that. Then I realized to access most of the races, I needed a new license. These are all too hard and take forever. The B license is the only one I could ever get gold medals on. The rest were almost impossible and I just got by the required time. By the time I could access the other races, I didn't want to. The game had lost all its fun(if it had any to begin with).

I admit there are some nice cars, but they take too long to get and the game stresses realism too much. Like some others reviews for this said, it's a VIDEO GAME, realism isn't needed if it's fun. Mastering proper turning and braking and accelerating is hard. The unrealistic thing though is that there's no car damage.

One other thing I noticed about the game was that in endurance mode, some of the races have 150 laps. That's crazy. No one has that much time on their hands to do those.

My final point, please don't buy this. It's just not very fun. Go for Need for Speed:Underground or Midnight Club 2 but not this.

its fast its furios and its total BORING yes lads its time to play one off the ORIGINAL GAMES OF THE PLASTATION 2 they promised
revolutionar new innovation and gameplay and we got Gran turismo
3 its just like its proceeder just with better graphics and some
usual awfull tech dance beats and the ofcourse bad control
(like playing ice hockey just with cars)REMEMBER you are gonna stay on that road not drive beside it.you can get about 200 cars
if you manage to stay awake because you have to get a car with
at least a little control performance (TO DO THAT YOU NEED TO DRIVE THE SAME STUPID TRACKS OVER AND OVER AGAIN ABOUT A 1000 TIMES TO GET A DECENT CAR.)if you do that you sure dont have any
friends playing games with you anymore (THEY ARE BORED TO DEATH)
I WOULD RATHER LIKE TO PLAY MARIO KART THATS FUN!!!!!!!!!!!)
