The Hardest One Yet!

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 4 / 4

This mystery is the hardest Nancy Drew game I've encountered so far! It's only the 2nd one of all 5! The graphics are much better than the 1st but still doesn't compare against the others. The mystery had had me stumped! I had to go to the official site for help from people, who already finished it, a billion times! Still, a hard challenge is good right?
The story-Nancy Drew is called up again for yet another dangerous mystery by a famous soap opera star, Mattie Benson. Nancy gets to go around New York City! She stays in Mattie's apartment for the use of the phone, mail, and other clues. As she travels around from Mattie's apartment to the studio and other places, she bumps into new people such as Mattie, the friendly but very worried soap opera star, Rick, the extremely big headed soap opera heart throb, Lillian, the super mean director, Millie, the old nutty prop room lady, and Dwayne, the acting agent. As Nancy slowly tries to crack the case, she bumps into more trouble than she thought...

My younger days were spent with my nose in a Nancy Drew book and I read almost every one the other day I was in the store and saw this Nancy Drew Stay Tuned for Danger game and thought I'd treat myself to see what it was about. I had become so bored with the computer lately!

I love this game...it does have it's quirks and I did think I was stuck, but with the help of my 11 year old son, he helped me figure some things out. Today when I talked to him on the phone he was working on solving this although he would never tell his friends he was doing a "Nancy Drew game"...so while I can't wait to play the next games They would love these!

The game starts out that a star from a T.V. show has been recieving death threats. You as Nancy have to find who is causing them. If anyone has any questoins or hints please

The Best Nancy Drew Software Yet!!!

As an avid Nancy Drew fan, I was a little suprised to see that the CD-Rom games are just as puzzling as her mysteries. Nancy is on the case trying to find out who is sending mysterious death threats to a famous TV star Rick Arlen. Along the way, you, as Nancy must solve many puzzles such as 3 riddles to enter the prop room and secret passwords to enter different rooms. The game is very exciting and full of suprises. And its all set behind the backdrop of New York City. The thing I liked most about this game was how you could travel to different places in New York, such as your friend Mattie's apartment, the TV studio and others. I have solved all the Nancy Drew CD-Rom games out so far and I would say this is the best!! I would recommend this game to anyone who loves Nancy Drew.

This was a step in the right direction when Herinteractive released Stay Tuned For Danger with 3D characters instead of the cartoon ones.Like the Drew games after this, this is a great game.Exept i hate it when they had items under others. It makes the game more difficult.I also really hate the slide puzzles.I really dont know why they put them in there.Everyone i talked to hates them.

This game is not the best in the series (my favorites are Danger on desepiton island and message in a haunted mansion) but it comes close. Its hard but fun and you cant stop in the middle. One of my favorite parts was the bomb part. I also like how there are so many people to talk to and so many places to explore. The prop room has lots of neat stuff. Buy this game!!

I've played a few Nancy Drew games but out of them all Stay Tuned for Danger is definetly my favorite! It is fun til the end and not one moment is boring. I recommend this to everyone but especially people who have not played a Nancy Drew game yet. Stay Tuned for Danger was the first one I played and it still remains my favorite.
Happy Sluething!

This is an okay game, but I do have some complaints. The graphics are good, but when you enter a room to talk to someone (for instance, if you want to talk to Rick Arlen, you'll have to wait for a few seconds because he will 'comb' his hair, and then notice you. This also happens for when you would like to talk to Mattie Jensen.) Also, when you want to zoom around, you back up instead, and you can only turn at a specific angle. And although I finished this game (with nights of frustration), I had to go to the herinteractive.com website for hints from other people who have already finished this game before me. And when you have to find something, you can only get it when you click at a certain angle, and most of the times you must click repeatedly. Bess, George, and Ned are a bit of a nuinsance, they give you hints to do things that you have already done.

And so, as a conclusion, I give Stay Tuned for Danger a C-.

(If you are starting on the Nancy Drew games, I reccomend getting one of the later games in the series, such as The Final Scene. )
