I love this game!!! Face it, the graphics are sssooo much better than the last one. I like it on the console cause the Sims take up way too much room on the PC, and also my computer is a piece of @%$#! and makes it worse. And finally, there's more availiblity on Create-a-sim! Also u can ACUALLY travel around town!! Although some parts are hard, it gives a great challenge for all you Sim-aholics.(Face it, the game's INTOSICATING!!!!)Hey here's a fact: did u know that Hillary Duff a Sim-aholic too?(like me!!!) anyway, I give it an A++!!!

What a game!!

When I first bought this game, my mum disaproved of it it highly because she wasn't happy with the idea of controlling lives. I told her that it was just a computer game, and she was being paranoid if she thought I was going to try to controll peoples lives in real life. At first she began to hide the game because everyday I began to play it for nearly 2 hours. Now, I am able to play the game because I had a big talk to her about how I'm old enough to understand things. This game was fun, but you should actually think abut things before you buy it, especially with your parents.

Anyway, I thought this game was the tops. It was cool to actually be able to drive your own car, and be able to outside of the neighbourhood, instead of being stuck inside your propety all the time. I would like to play the Sims 2 one time too, but it's not released to Mac yet so that's just 2 bad. I hope that if you read this it's given you a thought about this game before you go ahead and buy it!

The sims bustin' out is a great game. You have to first get used to the controls.. they are kinda hard. The only thing i hate about that game is that u have to have a certain type of memory card for it... UGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome game!

This game is always in my playstation. I'm addicted to it! It's an awesome game! It's a little slow when loading stuff. And I wish the kids would grow up like they do in Sims 2.

Fun and Great!!!

This game is a lot of fun and at a pretty cheap price. I'm glad I got it because I've had tons of fun with it, plus with tons more graphic designs and such.

Not Bad, but not excellent either

I think that the first Sims for Playstation 2 was the best. The graphics have changed alot in this new game. If you are love playing Sim games, than you would love this game.

Maxis needs to "bust out" with some better ideas..

I thought that this game was going to be better than the first one; however, its basically the same thing but with newer options....

In this game, you get to move out of your mother's house quite quickly and into another (not like in the previous game). You develop your skill levels for certain careers and do various assignments that unlock certain objects and interaction options. However, the missions get pretty repetitive and boring. The sequence of which house to move into after you have accomplished your goals are out of order. Your career levels also depend on which house that you move into. If your career levels do not meet the proper requirements, you may have to move to another home to accomplish those before moving on (this gets annoying! that's why you may need a walkthrough).

What's great about this game are the new social interactions. Some can be quite funny and some are just raunchy! The objects are ok, but there's nothing special about them. Your Sim is able to ride various vehichles to transport them from each location, but the player does not have the option to control the vehicle.

If you're a hardcore Sim fan, maybe you'd like to add this to your Sims collection, but I believe that the PC SIMs games are still the best. I also believe that the Game Boy Advance version of this game is waaaay better than this, though it lacks a few options (but you get to ride a scooter, and the player can control that option). Anyways....rent this game before you think of purchasing it...

It's better than the first, but better on the PC

I'm giving this version 5 stars because the interactions you unlock are more realistic and just fun. This game isn't for everyone but if you've ever owned a Sims game you'll love it. For various reasons the PC version is more convienient but what are you gonna do. Some things have to be sacrificed for a console version. The careers are more interesting and FINALLY you can get up and leave the house to visit, party or whatever you want. It's more challenging than the first in little ways but you'll appreciate it even more.

Love it!

I love this game sooo much! I even have it for GBA&PC. Both are great.
Would recommend it for 'bored' people.
Not very kid friendly.
