The best game since unreal

Black hawk down is the best of the series, and the graphics are so good that it looks like real life. when you look down that sniper scope, you don't see a closer image but a image that has been slightly distortedlike you are actualy lookng down it. and the bullets slow down and arc, so you have to lead your target off this makes it seem real. If thats not enough, it's the explotions that look like explotions, and you can see the shrapnel coming at you. thumbs up for this one, it is the best

This great first person rpg game brings warlife to life and alows you to do extrodinary things but the greatest thing of all in this game is that you can ride in the helicopters while shooting. I hope that more than 78%of you people will buy this game I myself have just got the very first copy released in the world because I have a little thing that will alow me to buy stuff that hasn't even been released or sometimes right after the company creates it, too bad you dont have it, later man.

Delta Force Series Finally Redeemed

Graphics 9/10
Audio 10/10
Gameplay 9/10
Difficulty 8/10
Learn-curve Moderate

This game will quickly get your heart racing as your 'Little Bird' drops you off in the middle of Somolia during a fierce fire-fight. You scramble up steps and begin tossing flash grenades into rooms filled with thugs carrying RPG's and machine guns. Think fast and shoot to kill or your're toast! I loved this first person demo and will promptly purchase the game when it hits stores Mar. 24. It easily surpasses other favorites of mine including Red Faction, Medal of Honor, and the older D-Force series. The game plays perfectly (honest!) on my Dell Notebook with 1.6 Ghz, 512 RAM, and GeForce 440 GO (32 Mg). Have a blast!!

Short Review..but to the point

This is definetly one of the better first person shooters to come out in a while. The graphics are as good as they say, although I haven't compared them to Raven Shield yet. The weapons, scenery, story, its all there. Its the kind of game you'll get into quickly. However I wrote this review to echo the previous ones..you BETTER have a good system to run this game! WOW does it eat up slower systems.

I'm playing it on a Dell 8200, 2.8ghz, Geforce 4 Ti 4600, 512MB RDRAM, Windows XP PRO, and still had some slow spots. I guess a 3.06 ghz HT P 4 with a Radeon 9800 PRO is a requirement to avoid ALL lag.

So here we have a great game, but heavy requirements. IF youve got the power go for it!

A new Legacy of DELTA

First off let me say this game is NOT worthy of the Delta title. IT DESERVES IT OWN TITLE! Its a huge jump, skip, leap and a blackhawk insertion better then any other DELTA game in the series (I have them all, been following since DF1).

The Single Player is simply amazing, it totally feels like you are in Somalia. The AI is a little strange at times, but its so fun you forget about the minor imperfections. The Somalia Militia really act like the familiar untrained, unprofessional bunch of people you saw in BHD the movie. Thats what makes the game great! But you better watch out, that one lucky bullet/RPG can be the end!

Fun, fast, and great times is all I can say about this game. It was definatly neat to get on the back of a Humvee and man the 50 cal through the streets, and DEFINATLY neat to see Romeo One, a Little Bird helicopter, swoop down and strafe targets in front of you.

Awesome game, WELL worth the buy for anybody new to or a vet of the series!

A FPS that is a blast to play

This is an outstanding game - best played in the multiplayer mode however. The single player mode was a bit less satisfying than I hoped for - the AI for the friendly units is better in Medal of Honor games, but the overall experience in details and graphics - especially online is something worth buying this game for. I am anxiously awaiting the add-on game to see what additional features they have added into this already fine and fun product.
If you want a FPS that can get you up and running and into the action quickly - without having to study all the manuals you need to in the Rainbow series yet maintain the most of the realism then this is it.

Awsome game

I have this game along with all the others before it. This game is the best of the bunch by far. Game play is very good. I am in the military and the wepons used in this game even sound like the real thing. The only thing Negative that I have to say is that the scopes on the M16,M4,and the MP5 should be adjustable for zooming in on a target. By far this game is the best of all first person shooter games that I have played.

Best shooter I've played

This game really rocks, I beat the game and play online. That is more exciting however, mainly because there your enemies have some brains. In single player games it's way too easy to kill the enemies. The graphics are exceptional, the buildings are extremly realistic and the whole game is full of action. The weapons are something else, you have extrordenary fire power at your hands but you are only alowed to use certain weapons in certain missions. Over all I would say this game gets two thumbs up. I would say three, but I only have two hands. I didn't noticed many glitches which are completly normal in computer games. The only glitches I ever saw were very simple things, such as graphity on walls flashing while moving towards it. The fixed weapons are also incredable. You can use .50s on hummers, and minni guns on choppers. I found this exciting and efective because of the massive amounts of fire that the guns put out. The apponents are very unintelligent, but they are well placed and are very effective at tacking out you and your forces. Many missions are littered with land mines and heavy machine guns making them difficult to defeat. Unfortunatly, your friends are just about as dumb as the skinnys, for instance, when weaving through narrow streets, they often get stuck on walls and will stay in the same place untill either killed, forgroten, or you go back for them. There are also power-ups which give you all your ammo back and your health. They are unrealistic, but exceadingly helpful. How about that? Take a picture.

Black Hawk Down: A few minor difficulties

I played the demo, it was great. Then I bought the game, at first it wasn't so great. I installed and the game crashed saying something about "sysdump.txt" when I tried to play. Finally the next day I got it working. I reinstalled it and restarted my computer. Note:Cheats only seem to work on the not updated version, but multiplayer does not, so it's a trade off. The game can be slow and jerky at times and at beginnings of missions, so wait a few moments before moving around a lot or else the game will run [badly] and you'll get machine-gunned because you can't aim right. The weapons are cool and represent real ones used today, so that's not bad. Sometimes I wish that you can drive AND shoot when you're in a humvee and helicopter like in RED FACTION or RENEGADE, but oh well, at least you can shoot.

Very good game

This game is awesome. The grpahics in this game are very good and the city that you fight in is very well done. The M-15 looks awesome in this game and the sounds of the game are amazing. I haven't played the single player game just the multiplayer demo but so far I liek what I see. The vehicles and helicopters are also a great additon because you can be the gunner in the hummers(helo's) and you can hitch a ride in the Black Hawk and use the machine gun on it. As soon as this comes out I am getting it.
