Empire Earth is good, Not quite as much fun as Age Of Empires, Some of the scenarios get too be a little too difficult and thus frustrating. Graphics are superb as well as gameplay. I would recommend this game, but youll pull your hair out at times.

After having seen the advertisements, read the articles, and played the demo it seemed that my purchase of this game was going to be flawless. Once I had it home, I installed the game and low and behold I find I can't play half of the game due to graphics issues. Having placed several calls into Sierra Technical Support, their technicians told me "We hate receiving calls about Empire Earth since the game was released too early and the platform issues have yet to be ironed out." So... I've been able to play some parts of the game, but due to technical issues it seems that I have to wait for more testing before I can actually play the campaigns. I'm not the only one with these problems either, based on the message boards.

I give the game 3 stars since from what I've seen the graphics, sounds, and interaction look very nicely done. I just hope they get those patches out sooner than later so I can enjoy the rest of the game.

I LOVE THIS GAME IT IS LIKE AGE OF EMPIRES, BUT 20 TIMES BETTER!
I LOVE THE STRATEIGEC BATTLES. LIKE IF U HAD MORE GUYS THEN THEM AND YOU ATTACKED BUT THEY HAD THE HIGH GROUND THEN U WOULD GET SLAUGHTERED. I ALSO LOVED HOW IT WORKED UP THROUGH TIME. MY FAVORITE PART WAS FIGHTING IN WWII. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST STRATAGIE GAMES EVER MADE

...THIS DOESN'T DESERVE 5 STARS IT DESERVES 100

I 1st heard about this game on Gamespot bout 10 months ago, from what it looked I thot this waz AOE like game.I just bought this game, the graphics are awesome. This game has lots of features that makes it different than AOE
1.>u kan send calamities to ur opponent like plague, malaria, earthquake.
2.>set ur own civilization & unit attributives.
3.>Make yer own civ.
4.>14 Epochs, 200 units make this game the most ambitious game in history.
5.>Campaign Editor Lets u create movies in game.(this editor is the most powerful I have seen as it come's with civ builder 'n this is no way as complicated as Starcraft or AOE Editors)
6.>Eye popping graphics

Make sure u have a P3 with 600 Mhz before buying this beauty
(I must say the music is not so cool its the kinda u hear in churches)!!! THIS IS GONNA DE-THRONE CLASSICS LIKE STARCRAFT & Age Of Empire2 !!! GET IT NOW !!!

I have only had the game for a few weeks, but I can tell I will be playing it for quite a while. Its AOE, Civilization, and Command&Conquer all rolled up. It is well worth the money, especially $20.

Wow

I thought there can never be a better strategic game then AOE.
How wrong I was. Empire earth is heaps better and it's more addictive then AOE.
I think it's important to add that Empire Earth is not a game that freezes your computer as some other games do. It is a perfect game by all means.
Before you start playing it - make sure you have plenty of time!!

I havent played this game in forever, but I used to play it a lot. Its fun and addicting. Each multi-player game online lasts for at least 45 minutes if playing with a couple people. You start out with a town center, with about 5-20 villagers depending on the game type, then you have to collect resources. Like wood/gold/iron/food etc. Once you have a good amount, you have to build buildings, they vary, theres army buildings to create marines and all types of fighting units. You can build alot of things. Then you can build towers to protect your base and walls etc.

One thing thats cool is that you can have allies and build right next to them also. And another thing is that you can play is certain epochs of ages. Like Prehistoric, Middle Ages, Atomic Age (1945) etc, and the future. Its cool and theres alot. And if you play from the beggining in a certain amount of time you can reach the future by upgrading certain buildings and soldiers. A good game if its what your into. And the online is more fun than single player. But in single player, you can do missions already set up, I think its called "Campaigns". Good game here you should check it out.

Must Buy For Some

I've read pretty much all the reviews here and must adamently disagree with those who gave this less that 4 stars. I can understand those who have had problems running the game being disappointed, I would be too. And there is a legitamate point to be made that those who played AOE to death will not be astounded by this game. However, for those who love RTS games, and expansions of already great games, then EE is definitely what you are looking for. I have spent hours on this game and have never even seen the epochs after the Napoleonic Era. Heck, I haven't even mastered the whole priest concept as a part of my strategy (I also haven't won a lot either). The point is, I think the complexity of the game is exactly what is so great. I also like that resources are not so quick to disappear, and that it is almost impossible to mine out all the gold, stone and iron on the board. Listen, I love C&C and especially Red Alert 2, but those are the hyperactive children of the RTS world. There is no quick plunking down of your base and creation of massive armies within the first ten minutes. There is something to be said for that type of game too. If you like a little more complexity, get this game and enjoy for years to come.

Your own Empire Ha?

The grafhics are high quality, and the story is very original. This game combines two games; Civilazation, and Age of Ampires. The idea of the game is similer to Age of Ampires, but the target is similer Civilazation.

Wonderful, Glamorous!

This is probably the best RTS I've ever played in my life, excluding the almighty Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, and the expansion Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. But otherwise I give this game a full 5 stars, the zoom level is new and an excellent addition to this game as it lets you get up close and see the exciting battles. The 14 epochs just amaze me to the level where this game is so big, so huge, no other RTS has been there before. This game is a TRUE "REAL-TIME STRATEGY"!
