Amazing Graphics and Atmosphere

This game is engrossing but can be difficult for a beginner. Favorite parts include playing for long blocks of time looking for clues, going through tunnels, reading memos left behind and evesdropping on conversations, etc. Least favorite parts are where the aliens kill you from what seems like twenty feet away in all directions.

This game is so difficult that it is hard to sustain any consistent and meaningful interaction without being killed. I freely admit that I am not a game fanatic and don't have much skill at all; what led me to this game was my fascination with the "Alien" movies. My favorite parts of the game are where the player plays for long blocks of time looking for clues, going through tunnels, reading memos left behind and evesdropping on conversations, etc. My least favorite are where the aliens kill you from what seems like twenty feet away in all directions, which I find very hard to defend against, and you have to keep going back again and again to try to survive that battle. It get's frustrating and, for me, defeats the suspenseful and sometimes terrifying mood that the game creates.

Man This game is ... Awesome~ but why is it so violent?

This game is really great.
If you are a person who likes a shooting game like 007, or
Alien Resurection-this game is for you.

Totally great game, incredibly fascinating 3D graphics.
MAn THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
And also, It has multiplayers up to 16 PLAYERS~

But this is defintely not for children under 15,
THIS game is REALLY GREAT~
BUt why is it soooooo violent?

This game is suprisingly fun, especially for fans of the Predator and Alien movies -- all of the sounds, weapons, and visuals are true to both movies. Multiplayer is good, but not great.

This is fun!!!! The best cheat as the predator is
mpsixthsense it allows you you to move thought walls. This game ROCKS THIS WORLD!!!!

Ok but needs graphical updates.

I had gotten this game the day it came out. Since then i've beaten the alien levels 13 times, predator 17, and marines 7. There were a tremendous number of slow-downs, and the graphics need a huge update, mostly the character models. The sound effects and voice acting are stunning, most of the time. The ships that occasionally fly above your head when your a predator are awesome! The predator's special visions are cool to have. I found the predator campaign to be much to easy! There are cheat codes for this game, but they don't work for the alien. The graphical chugging is the main issue. I've had to restart my computer at least 30 times because of this game! The gore in the game is pretty realistic but cool. Overall this game is mostly fun but won't give that much gameplay. If you want cheat codes for this game try cheat planet.com. And remember, watch LOST.

pros- excellent story, dialogue and voice acting, play as marine predator, and alien. excellent array of weapon and moves.

cons- the predator could have had more outdoor levels. some bugs(not literally)

This game astounded me! the graphics were incredible. I think the Multiplayer is the best, even though the single player is still really good, but it gets really confusing late into the alien and predator levels. the only thing bad with this game are the system requirements.

Don't ever buy this game, it's very boring. The animation ..., too. It just looks like you guy is skooting along the ground. And the balance is no good. Preds can cloak, and to make it worse, they can regenerate their energy any stinkin' time they want! The marines always die in one shot, only have one alternate vision mode (and it's no good). The Aliens can walk on walls, but every time they charge to kill someone, they get killed in a couple shots, and they are still usually about a mile away from their foe. Again, don't ... buy this game, as did my friend. IF you wanna good game, check out MechWarrior 4. It kicks ...

i had high hopes for this game (theres so much potential)..but alas i feel dissappointed. first off, they release the game to soon. testing should have been thorough, but i guess that decided to push for more money. the producers of avp2 wanted to characters to be portrayed like that of the movie..right, wrong! aliens are slow as molasis, preds plasmacaster shouldnt home (even though im a pred fan), his "normal vision" is human binocular sight, no red tint like the movie, the aliens should have peripheral vision, and steam is steam in infared mode, it should have some tint of red and yellow. besides minor flaws, the major ones are lag issues in single player. im running 500mhz celeron, 128 ram, w/ a sufficient vid card and it lags sometimes when i have it at low res. and effects which leads to lag death. its saving grace is its multi play capablities, different classes and the alien cycle are cool. for a (...)u might wanna get somethign else till its price loweres
