Finally a Gundam Game thats great!

I picked up the import version awhhile back and this game is realy fun.
The graphics are ok although sometimes buildings,cars,trees etc. are bland and generally the same.But the Mobile Suits are well done and space battles looks great.
There are about 200 missions and you may play as Federation or Zeon in 0079 in the one year war.This game is created by capcom and published by Bandai(Dont let the bandai name scare you.)This game orginated from a Arcade game in Japan and is online capable for Japan only.It was awarded the Famitsu Golden award.Famitsu was one of the first Game Magzine by the way. Controls may be confusing but you get used to it right away.
The sound is ok and the voice acting is great,but some songs irritate you. Tons of mobile suits and 3 modes such as Versus,Campeign,and arcade.
Versus you can either Play against two A.I.s or a human player.Campain is basiclly mission you may only start off with and crappy mobile suits at first.Arcade is just where you pick a mission,and a M.S. and battle it out. The strongest point of this game would have to e gameplay,so have fun, and get ready for the deadliest war in Universul Century history!

This is really a good game. Its most a good game because bandai did not make the game capcom did bandai only publish it and let me tell you capcom did a great job unlike bandai. If your a gundam fan or not you sude get this game. In this game there are three mode arcade mode, VERSUS (best mode) mode, and campaign mode. In the campaign mode you start with a Ground GM for the show 08th MS team and edentually you get more mobile suits. One good thing about this game is there are OUTER SPACE MISSIONS and mission in side the colonies to.
In versus mode you can by the zeons or federation. The moblie suits you can be for the zeon in ground levels are ZAKU 1, ZAKU 2, CHAR'S ZAKU, GOUF, DOM, GOOG, Z GOK, CHAR'S Z GOK, ACGUY, ZOCK, GYAN, GELGOOG, and CHAR'S GELGOOG. For outer space level you can be for zeon ZAKU 1, ZAKU 2, CHAR'S ZAKU, GOUF, RICK DOM, GYAN, GELGOOG, CHAR'S GELGOOG, and ZEONG.
For the Fedeartion on ground levels there is GUNDAM, GUNCANNON, GUNTANK, GM, GROUND GUNDAM, and GROUND GM. For Space level you can be GUNDAM, GUNCANNON, GUNTANK, GM, and BALL.
P.S. BUY THIS GAME ITS THE ONLY GUNDAM GAME WORTH BUYING AND ALSO THE BIG ZAM IS IN THE GAME.

The game in graphics is better than Journey to Jaburo and is Hard just Like Zeonic Front. In the game you can play as any mobile suit you want " Big Zam, Braw-bro,Zarkello, Bygro, Zock, the mobile armors and Federation Side you can get G-Fighter, G-Bull and On 2 Versus mode one person can be gundan and one can be G-Fighter and Gundam can ride the G-Fighter(second player get to pilot the G-Fighter). The game is a lot cooler than Journey to Jaburo, but is hard like Zeonic Front. I have Beat the game to.

This game has the most real combat system that I have ever seen the controls are very easy to use and make sense for once. The gundams die I little slow in comparison to the show (the beam sword does not do enough damage.) The story is one of the most brilliant I have EVER SEEN. The story edits it's self to your skill and what you accomplish. This means that it will be just as challenging to a very good player as a very bad player. The gundams get repairs and get damage, they heal as you beat or loss different levels, and there are over 100 level s in an endless amount of combinations. In other words you can play this game over and over and it will never be the same! There is also a very good multiplayer system that is great for when you have friends over and want to play some GUMDAM WING! Also on the sides of the screen (if you are good enough to use it) there is a incoming fire warning that can help you dodge attacks that you can not see! If there is a disadvantage to this game it is the fact that the gundams can turn intently witch makes going behind almost pointless. This can get very annoying if you are like me and in the other games like to strafe up and slash them from behind. This game is a great buy and NEVER GETS OLD.

I have to object with the other review saying you can't use the shield. In the game if your shield is hit the shield takes the damage not the M.S. If you have a Space GM(Jim)And the shield breaks in half and it's still on the arm then it is harder to block because the block is only made if the shield is in the way. If the shield is completely gone )you probably already know)You can't block!(duh) The rest of the game is really cool especially how long it is and the way you can recieve better variants of a MS such as you can have gundam(RX-79 or Rx-78-2) and one with a * next to it is better than the one with no star. The graphics rock and the weapons work neatly. The only downside is like above blocking is automatic!!!

this game is very nice if you like gundam!...

This gundam games has alot of fun inside,,,you can go to space and batlle zeon with your mobile suits ,,also there you can destroy spaceships also ,you will be allowed to fight mobile armors ,,all of them,also can see how lalah dies in front of you and cant do nothing to save her,,you will face alot of challenges,,you will have to prove if you are a real ace pilot of mobile suits cause you will need alot the luck,,there will also be an arcade mode where you can go to fight and earn all the mobile armors like:the gfighter,the gbull,bigzam, and many othersbut you will have to be so good to getthis thing,,,they are hard to get,,,,i hope this review help you deside if you like the game or not,,,,,, good bye and good luck.

This game is super the game play is cool it's fun and just plain cool. When I was looking for a game I saw this I looked at it's rating and all the reveiws. I like the fed team at the begining because of their mses but the zeons have better ones as the game goes on.

I think this game is brilliant, its the best TV/movie tie-in ever and if you are a die-hard fan of Gundam BUY! THIS! GAME!

There's a massive selection of mobile suits and you get to play as Zeon as well as Federation.

The controls are simple but gameplay is varied and there are levels based on all of the events over the one year war.

Its great fun in campaign and arcade modes and even better in versus mode.

Even if you aren't a fan of Gundam this game is brilliant and is well worth buying or at least renting.

The best game ever!

You don't have to be a Gundam fan to love this game! The game play is fast and is like a real war with rockets blowing up all around you and gun fire coming from both directions. VS mode is awsome and you can fight on a team or against each other. The levels are pretty big and there's lots to hide behind, in, or on top of. There's lots of different missions to do with different objectives. Space battles are like ground battles, but when you get hit you spin and flip. You can shoot upside down or side ways and dodging is the same. Space looks great, it has alot of detail and when you look at the moon or earth from far away it looks real! Graphics are a 5, though it does get choppy during VS, and as some people say, the trees and buildings all look different from far away. Sound is a 5, the explosions are good and there are about 4 different songs from the shows. Controls are a 5, they are really tight and easy to perform attacks. It is a fast game, but it does get slow during a heavy battle, but I've only noticed it maybe 5 times the whole game. Over all this is a tight game, and about the only Gundam game with VS! So what are you doing reading this, go buy it!!
