this game rocks because it lets you fight in space and it's a lot easier to control than in zeonic front and it has 2-player

I was browsing through a video game rental store, not sure what to get. This game caught my eye, and I decided to rent it.

I wasn't a fan of Gundam, but I am now. This game will have you hooked. The gameplay is smooth, the arcade is as fun as the campaign (which you won't want to put down), the VS. is superb. Over fifteen stages, at least, with several objectives, each different from the next.

And in arcade mode, if you can make the killing blow on an armor unit, like the Big Zam, then you can use it in VS. mode. Definitely fun.

All in all, I give it five stars.

With Fed. vs. Zeon, Bandai finally stepped up and had Capcom
make a game for them. The result is one of the best anime spin-offs on record. Arenas (based on episodes from the series) host tag-team battles with four moblie suits dukin it out. The selection of levels includes lands and space with each offering thier own challenge, in addition to mastering the distinctly different types of mecha. If you've played a Gundam game before, the atmosphere should be familiar, but the controls are thankfully much tighter, and the mission-based single-player stands up well compared to the versus action. The graphichs could be sharper, but this is still the first Gundam game serious fans of the series should not be ashamed to play.

I would have rated this higher, but I really haven't played that much, but from what I've played so far, it's an excellent game. The controls are wonderful, and are an improvement over JTJ's controls. Now, the gundams and mobile suits turn better, there are weapons choices for more than just the Gundam(I especially love the Bazooka for the Zaku I and II), and there are more missions compaired to JTJ's 9 Story Mode missions and 8 Tactics Battle missions. My only gripe so far is similar to everyone else's, the lack of being able to block. Ohh yeah, and to whoever said that the blocking was automatic, technically there is no blocking, so how could it be automatic???

This is the best gundam game out. way becaes It has all of the mobile suits from mobile suitGUNDAM AND 2 FORM 18 MS TEAM and the best thing all you can KILL AMORO CHAR AND A LOT MORE.THIS A GOOD GUNDAM GAME BAY A COBY.

Federation v Zeon try and find flaws?

First of all I beleive this game is pretty damn amazing as you get to play the whole of the one year war and if you do decide to do the missions in the campaign that include White Base you will learn enough of the story of MS gundam to want to watch the series. There is a way tp block beam sabers/heat axes etc. by close combat attacking your opponent at the same time they attack you this results in you both being pushed back. The damage system is fairly realistic as the main characters (Amuro, Kai etc.) do relitively large amounts of damage (if you get hit with the gundams beam cannon as the Zeons you know about it) in the campaign you can receive special suites as Zeon such as Chars ace modified suites.

The campaign is long enough to engrose most people but can at points become to easy as when you get the best suites. The only problem with the campaign is you dont get to fight all of the Federation vs Zeon sereises and movies such as "Chars Counter-Attack". Another problem is there is very limited strategy as the only strategic decisions are made on the campaign screen rather than the actual battle where hack and slash and shoot until you run out of ammo can be predominant. Also it would of been nice if they had a location hit system like mechwarrior so your arms or legs could be destroyed instead of you dying when your armour runs out and a salvage system so you salvaged some of the destroyed MS's rather than getting them for winning levels because as the federation I'd love a Celgoog and as Zeon I'd wan't a Gundam. But all in all this game is amazing and I highly recomend it to anyone Gundam show fan or not. Mecha pilot wanna be or not.

This thing is cool,the graphics are great and the gundoms really cool too.The two player mode can be on teams or enemies.There are too things to remember,keep your eyes open and stay focused.If you die too much{I really did'nt have much luck alone either}But it is F.U.N fun!

This game is really fun and every Gundam fan should get it. You can play as the Earth Fed. or Zeons, playing as the Zeons can be differcult espicially against the Gundam, but lacks the large scope of the One Year War in the sense of the battles are like smirshes, and the out of bounds lines limits movements. But as far as grahics and actaul character overvoices are very cool as well as the mobile suits are very detailed. The beam saber and heat hawk are very cool if you can get in close. (Free Zeon)

out of all the gundam games prior to this one (gundam:battle assault, Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front, and gundam:battle assault 2)this is by far the best.play as the federation, and you will experience the fear of piloting a second rate mobile suit, against the never ending forces of zeon,from the first mission on, you must change in order to survive this war.THroughout the federation campaign, you will apprehend new technology and weild it against the continuous battles against the Zeon aces.Take the side of the principality of zeon, and defend your homeland,while invading earth,and skirmishing agianst the newtype crew of the whitebase.while using proven and combat effective tools of war, you will soon take fear at the sight of the ultimate monster...The legendary Rx-78-2 Gundam, piloted by Amuro Ray.defeat the campaign mode as either the duchy(zeon),or the feceral forces, and unlock a new mode of combat, a repetitive series of campaign, with the most powerful mobile suits (level3, and 4 when available!!!)but take warning...this fight,the good fight, is the real fight.be careless and die...you shall not lose pride...but with it the mobile suit you left with.(the zeong is available in the mode to pilot)(in order to unlock mobile armors for VRS. mode, you must first defeat them in arcade mode)

You gotta have this game if you are a Gundam fan. Heck, if you enjoy anime overall, you should own this game. It's exactly like the shows!
