As far as Gundam games go....There is no other

This game promises to blow the previous PS2 releases away. Aside from space duels, tons of suits from the 0079 Era, fluent control, there is the fact that the game is developed by Capcom which gives it an edge over other Bandai games. This was released on Saturn in Japan and the DX version on PS2. The ultimate Gundam fighting game is on its way...

this game as awsome graphics and great gamelaay. also, unlike the other bandai games, you get to fight in space. it rocks!!!

For years, most Gundam games would end up horrible in terms of gameplay. Graphics, however, was the only thing Bandai was good at...until now. Now for the first time ever, Capcom and Bandai join forces to create the very first arcade-style Gundam game for the PS2, entitled Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation VS Zeon. This is what happens when the best of two worlds collide !

GRAPHICS:
As expected, Federation VS Zeon's graphics shine with exquisite detail ! There are some minor slowdowns on the animations, but for most parts, this game runs smoothly. And the battle environments are extremely beautiful.

AUDIO:
Like all Gundam games, the game uses the exact audio from the anime series from movement effects, voice overs, explosions and whatnot. And the music has been slightly remixed specifically for the game, and it fits the battles. However, there are two in-game vocal songs from the anime that don't fit in the battlefield. One song would sound cheeful, and one would be talking about romance (yes my sweet...YES MY SWEET !!!). Geez ! Happy songs and romantic songs during a firey Mobile Suit battle ?!?!?! Wow...

GAMEPLAY:
After playing the game, I was amazed at how great the controls were. They were a little clunky, but very easy to control. And theres no slowdown in close range combat like in Journey To Jaburo and Side Story 0079. However I still find it very easy to control your Mobile Suits in space. Very impressive !

LENGTH:
Of course, you get a wide variety of Mobile Suits from the Federation side and the Zeon side. However, despite the superb controls and great graphics. This game is very short while on single player. You're better off playing 2 players, but on the other hand, you'll earn lots of interesting secrets while beating it, but with a game this short, you would get tired of single player already.

FINAL VERDICT:
Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation VS Zeon is a must for any Gundam fan or anyone who loves to see a bunch of robots duking it out until one of them blows into smitherines. Most Gundam games never stood out as one of the best, but this one outshines them all in terms of gameplay. And this time, Bandai didn't do the work alone, thanks to their elite connection ! If it weren't for Capcom's help, this would be just another Gundam game ready for another bad review. Highly reccomended !

I played the Japanese version and it's the best Gundam game for the PS2. It has very good graphics and fast game play. It has a lot of different mobile suits from Mobile SUit Gundam and some from 8th MS Team, such as Zaku II, Gundam, and some other secret ones that I don't want to say. (Don't want to spoil the surprise!) Overall, the game is very fun and exciting. It's about time Bandai released it in the U.S.

This Gundam Game is the best one yet because you can play in space. also it has tons of mobile suits and most likely it follows the Gundam saga to the dot. some of the mobile suits are the (For the Federation)Gm, Ball, Gundam, Guntank, Guncannon
(For the Zeon)Zaku 1, Zaku 2, Chars Zaku 2, Dom, Rick Dom, Gelgog, z'gok, gogg, gyan, zock. and their will most likely be some Mobile Armors. but from what i know those will be the mobile suits in the game. i hope you buy this one because you will definetly like it even if you aren't a gundam fan. but if you don't buy it you should at least rent it. then you'll know what i mean.

Dude its a Capcom game you know its good ^.^

yes yes yes....u played the "other" 2 games of gundam for the ps2 journy and front....BUT they were made by bandai...now this game THIS GAME is made by capcom so no choppy controls no ikky camera angles but o just a great game over all...now im american and have no clue what ushanotakunita means but the game is great SO BUY THE AMERICAN ONE WOOOOO

Gundam Federation vs. Zeon is a great game. I found out from Playstation Magazine (not PSM) that this is going to be the best Gundam game yet. It follows the basic story of Mobile Suit Gundam the tv series,and the battles take place on land,at sea, and in space.This is truly an awesome game.

This game is gong. to. kick. major. [rear].
If you guys are big fans of Virtual-On, this is the game to get. I'm definately getting this game once it comes out. 100 missions per side in the campaign mode, tons of mobile suits to choose from, great animations and graphics, this is a Gundam fan's dream game. [Heck], even non-Gundam fans will love it!

Words can not express how happy I am that this new Gundam game is coming out. So for all you big and little Gundam fans you need to get this game! I've played other Gundam games before, and they were okay...but this one, I can assure you will be extremely, extremely good! I have researched this game in many magazines, other internet sites, and much more.....and from all I've read, even if you're not a Gundam fan, you'll still enjoy this game. The game comes out September 19th, but I suggest you pre-order it from Amazon.com! I know I will!!

I want people to know as a hardcore gundam fan I like to notify people of the importance of the game. It will revoultionise gundam games and ,I wuold like to thank Mark Simmons for his beatiful book ,Gundam the offcial guide. The game (I don't Know if it will consist of the ground suits for the fedration and balls) those are in the dx version in japan but lets hope there in the American version. I hope you can buy the game let us look foward to it if it has the dx mobile suits or not.
