Japanese Version is a very good game!

I played the Japanese version and it's the best Gundam game for the PS2. It has very good graphics and fast game play. It has a lot of different mobile suits from Mobile SUit Gundam and some from 8th MS Team, such as Zaku II, Gundam, and some other secret ones that I don't want to say. (Don't want to spoil the surprise!) Overall, the game is very fun and exciting. It's about time Bandai released it in the U.S.

This game is so awesome! This is the best gundam game yet. Federation vs. Zeon allows to be a Zeon or Federation gundam fighter. In other games you can only be 1. The game is performed by the actual charecters, and has a lot of machines you can pilot. It has a split screen action so you can play with your friends or with a computer. The graphics are great and the controls are good too. There are even 200 missions to play from. It has even one an award from Japan's famous "Famitsu" magazine. If you are a gundam fan or not, you should definitly buy or rent this game.

I played Zeonic Front and loved it, due to the fact it was a strategy game. But this game beats them all, and may well be the best Gundam game to date.

It's action is fast paced, and you actually have to fit to defeat an enemy. Instead of the one hit kills, you actually duke it out a bit to defeat anything, including the surroundings.

It has three modes: campaign, versus, and arcade. I love campaign, as it covers the story of the show Mobile Suit Gundam and allows you to be part of the experience. Once you beat both the Zeon and Federation campaigns, a harder mode opens up for campaign, allowing for great replay.

Versus is fun, although you can only have up to 2 human players in total. It allows you to practice and hone your skills. Probably the most enjoyable and used part of the game. Once you defeat certain enemies in Arcade Mode, they become unlocked for Versus Mode. Not to mention that once you beat campaign, opposite sides of mobile suits can be used for the Zeon and Federation. Basically, you will be able to pilot any mobile suit for either side. A very awesome feature.

Arcade Mode is fun, and allows you to rack up high scores and experience the One Year War in 13 missions. This mode can also be played with a friend! I have to admit though this mode has ticked me off several times, because once in a while your enemy is just a little too powerful... I'm trying to become an ace pilot, and remaining relaxed during fights helps a lot, but sometimes bogus shots and cheap shots can make you mad.

Of course, their are options! You can customize your controls, as well as soudn levels, game difficulty, and how much damage is overall caused (allowing for you to either quickjly kill enemies or take a while on them). I think there are more...

A very excellent game, superb graphics and sound...although soem of those sound tracks can get annoying. But hey, that's what putting some techno music on your stereo is for, giving you a great gaming experience. A game you'll come to love and get addicted to, so now I need to sign off and go turn it on!

Real AND BRILIANT

This game has the most real combat system that I have ever seen the controls are very easy to use and make sense for once. The gundams die I little slow in comparison to the show (the beam sword does not do enough damage.) The story is one of the most brilliant I have EVER SEEN. The story edits it's self to your skill and what you accomplish. This means that it will be just as challenging to a very good player as a very bad player. The gundams get repairs and get damage, they heal as you beat or loss different levels, and there are over 100 level s in an endless amount of combinations. In other words you can play this game over and over and it will never be the same! There is also a very good multiplayer system that is great for when you have friends over and want to play some GUMDAM WING! Also on the sides of the screen (if you are good enough to use it) there is a incoming fire warning that can help you dodge attacks that you can not see! If there is a disadvantage to this game it is the fact that the gundams can turn intently witch makes going behind almost pointless. This can get very annoying if you are like me and in the other games like to strafe up and slash them from behind. This game is a great buy and NEVER GETS OLD.

This Gundam Game is the best one yet because you can play in space. also it has tons of mobile suits and most likely it follows the Gundam saga to the dot. some of the mobile suits are the (For the Federation)Gm, Ball, Gundam, Guntank, Guncannon
(For the Zeon)Zaku 1, Zaku 2, Chars Zaku 2, Dom, Rick Dom, Gelgog, z'gok, gogg, gyan, zock. and their will most likely be some Mobile Armors. but from what i know those will be the mobile suits in the game. i hope you buy this one because you will definetly like it even if you aren't a gundam fan. but if you don't buy it you should at least rent it. then you'll know what i mean.

This is really a good game. Its most a good game because bandai did not make the game capcom did bandai only publish it and let me tell you capcom did a great job unlike bandai. If your a gundam fan or not you sude get this game. In this game there are three mode arcade mode, VERSUS (best mode) mode, and campaign mode. In the campaign mode you start with a Ground GM for the show 08th MS team and edentually you get more mobile suits. One good thing about this game is there are OUTER SPACE MISSIONS and mission in side the colonies to.
In versus mode you can by the zeons or federation. The moblie suits you can be for the zeon in ground levels are ZAKU 1, ZAKU 2, CHAR'S ZAKU, GOUF, DOM, GOOG, Z GOK, CHAR'S Z GOK, ACGUY, ZOCK, GYAN, GELGOOG, and CHAR'S GELGOOG. For outer space level you can be for zeon ZAKU 1, ZAKU 2, CHAR'S ZAKU, GOUF, RICK DOM, GYAN, GELGOOG, CHAR'S GELGOOG, and ZEONG.
For the Fedeartion on ground levels there is GUNDAM, GUNCANNON, GUNTANK, GM, GROUND GUNDAM, and GROUND GM. For Space level you can be GUNDAM, GUNCANNON, GUNTANK, GM, and BALL.
P.S. BUY THIS GAME ITS THE ONLY GUNDAM GAME WORTH BUYING AND ALSO THE BIG ZAM IS IN THE GAME.

This game is the best.You have more challanges and mobile suits than the last 2 gundam games.In ARCADE MODE,you can pick almost everyone in the whole game.Plus you can pick any mobile mobile suits in the game.Whatmakes it easier is that sometimes with one hit,thier finish.Plus you can do very easy combinations with your sword,If you have one.IN versus mode,you and the computer(or partner)can duel it out for fun or revenge!In campaign mode,this is where the fun starts.You can pick zeon or federation.You either start off with the ground type mobile suit or zaku 1.THe more missions you beat,the more mobile suits you'll get.You pick missions from earth and space,as long as it's availible.There are some points in there where it's hard.But I don't mind.I highly reccomend this 4-D game to everyone.

P.S.-Very cool graphics and weapons

I want people to know as a hardcore gundam fan I like to notify people of the importance of the game. It will revoultionise gundam games and ,I wuold like to thank Mark Simmons for his beatiful book ,Gundam the offcial guide. The game (I don't Know if it will consist of the ground suits for the fedration and balls) those are in the dx version in japan but lets hope there in the American version. I hope you can buy the game let us look foward to it if it has the dx mobile suits or not.

I was browsing through a video game rental store, not sure what to get. This game caught my eye, and I decided to rent it.

I wasn't a fan of Gundam, but I am now. This game will have you hooked. The gameplay is smooth, the arcade is as fun as the campaign (which you won't want to put down), the VS. is superb. Over fifteen stages, at least, with several objectives, each different from the next.

And in arcade mode, if you can make the killing blow on an armor unit, like the Big Zam, then you can use it in VS. mode. Definitely fun.

All in all, I give it five stars.
