Okay WW2 FPS

A lot of people seem to not like this and, while I can understand their points, I found this okay if a little frustrating a times.

Basically you drop into the action taking a hard route or an easy one, then you go for your objectives via a variety of bad guys. Frustrations include a long time between checkpoint saves, the fact you have to keep parachuting in despite your checkpoint being on the ground, and the strange addition of hard to kill super-soldiers(?) near the end!

On the plus side the graphics are lovely and it can be intense fun at times. My XP machine was top spec two years ago but managed to cope well, (apart from some occasional freezing) and still enjoyed this. Yep it could have been better but it is still an acceptable shooter that will entertain you for a few hours

To short

It not a great game but it is very good. The best game out for the pc in a long time which is not really saying much.My main gripe is it is way to short of a game for the amount of money being charged for it.I would suggest waiting a short awhile and buy it from sellers on amazon. It wont take long for two reasons. The game is so short the average player can finish it in about ten hours and there is not much in the way of replay value.I still think pc gamming is slowley becoming obsolete. The consoles are taking over.Reason why,To match the visual effects a 400 dollar console offers you would need an extreamly high quallity gamming pc costing around 5 to 6 thousand dollars. And then keep upgrading the graphics card every couple of years.Oh,buy the way a top of the line card costs more than a gamming console.I just went to systems req lab and checked out how well my system will run Crysis. It will but just a little over minimum. The only problem is I have XP and to run at recomended I will have to change to Vista OP.So that is another reason pc gaming will become obsolete. To run pc games in the future not only will people have to keep updating expensive graphic cards but will have to change there op system to keep up with the newer games.THAT SUCKS,I THINK I HAVE HAD IT WITH PC GAMES.I THINK I WILL GO WITH THE CONSOLES MYSELF.

Medal Of Honor Airborne Game needs new game card

I purchased this game for my husband, he loved the other games! I was disappointed to find that I needed to purchase an upgraded game card for his PC before he could play it, (he already has a high end card). He hasn't been able to play it yet, so I can't comment on the game itself.

Overall, this game should be a 6 out of a 5. The gameplay, graphics, exceed alot of war games out there, especially COD2. I think the only thing this game needs work on is the multiplayer, which i think EA will take care of. Anyone out there giving this game a rating less than 4 must be smoking something!!

Very high detail graphic PC video game. Land your own destination to primary target area that will process save game faster. Of course, good fighting against German soldiers. How about that video game's fun rate: Good.

intense action. great ambiance. more in your face combat than i remember at times in COD or COD2. dying a lot but having a great time slugging it out. sometimes, we can analyze and think too much about the qualities of a game. get it for a good price and play it!

update: the game is great. i play for 35-45 minutes at a time so it's lasting well for me. just great fun. i heartily recommend it - especially if you can get it used or through amazon marketplace. well worth around 30 bucks.

new update: almost finished with level 5 on easy. i'm really gonna miss this game when it's over. :( very entertaining.

this game is garbage,if you base it on 82nd airborne combat jumps in wwII.
the only thing that is historically correct are the name's of the combat jumps. the rest is all wrong, the locations of the jumps, the 82nd did not jump into towns and cities that looked like factories. brothers in arms is a much more accurate game when it come down to history.. maybe EA can do a better job next time ..

The WWII franchise is over and this is the nail in the coffin!

Hmm, where to begin. The graphics are incredibly awful, the so called drop where you want zones are geared in a way that you literally have only a small area to work with in landing.

So either you land on a building, close to the building or close to the smoke of the drop zone. Oh boy.

The ammo is scarce and the AI borders on mentally handicapped.

Your squad members are as useless as you are left wondering why they are even there other than to yell your name over and over and have you go in and clear all of the enemies out. Ridiculous, why have them? It is supposed to be a team, not one man and a glee club!

The enemy AI is either incredibly accurate and never miss, or they have no business holding weapons.

The recoil on the weapons is ridiculously flawed and the whole game feels like it was built on a good idea and pathetic production.

It is as if they got bored and decided to just throw it out to see if they could get some quick cash.

The only way to check your mission stats is to hit the escape key, it is just a stupid, stupid, stupid game.

The WWII franchise is played to death and overdone and EA is just showing just how pathetically bad they are at anything other than sports.

They screwed up Crysis, they screwed up Stalker, I mean is there anything EA can do right? Oh yeah, NBA or some other football type game...

The game sucks, EA sucks, just horrible and a waste of time.

Not too mention the game is 6 hours for 50 bucks? Is this the level of games now? Is this what these producers and developers are spending all this time making?

Gaming is starting to die in favor of going on-line for stupid multiplayer games that amount to a bunch of teenagers and 12 year olds using big boy words and cheating to have what they call fun.

This game sucks...

Empty CD case (CORRECTED by Amazon)

Was very excited to play this game so I pre-ordered it. The box finally arrives and I open it up to find out that the CD-case was empty. SO now I have to wait to return it and get a new one.

This Sucks.

I know it's not Amazons fault, but I hope not too many other people get the same dissapointment as I did.

UPDATE

Amazon just contacted me to tell me they have already shipped me a replacement free of charge. Now THAT is what I call great customer service! Thanks Amazon, you just won a customer for life.

trouble getting started

i preordered MOH Airborne, and am trying to run it on Vista on a 6 month old Dell, 1.5gRAM and NVIDIA G7300GS. game works well until you leave the aircraft, then you start rotating counterclockwise and can't stop, even after hitting the ground, even with video and sound turned down. all the other MOH games have worked well. does anyone have any intelligent suggestions??
