this game is the best pokemon game ever in my opinion. Although some features of the wireless adapter are a bit pointless like being able to fit 40 people in the union room when it only has a 10 m range and the chat thing is pointless. You have to type in each letter individually or put in words which are pre set to make messages like lets battle or lets trade. Ok the chat thing is only useful if you are death or dumb (cannot talk) and i don't think there are many of those, but still it is a nice feature which not many people will use. Although i think that wireless battling is a great idea because when battling with a link cable it is easy to get the wires tangled up if you are doing a 4 way link. Also the wireless link mens that there is no pulling out of the wires when people get stressed and they are losing aand then saying it was a mistake. other than the stupid features the wireless linking is a really good idea. And the game is great too!

A lot of people I knew got excited when this game came out. Well if you are planning on buying this game and you own pokemon blue or red, don't get your hopes up for a new story, or even new diolauge. Because it all is exactly the same!!!!!!
Mostly everything was ripped off from the first games. Oh sure, there are new moves that weren't in blue or red, and sure, there was the island chain thing, but is is basicly the exact same thing from red and blue. the graphics may be better,but they could of at least put some effort in making new things for the characters to say!
Okay, now that im done insulting the game, let me tell you some good qualites it has. The graphics are awesome. And the union room concept is cool, although it is kind of useless.
And that really all I can say about it being good.

The most fun pat of the game is the features, like the chat thing and the trading board. The Union Room, is one of the coolest and useless parts of the game. The union room is basically a room in the pokemon center were you can battle,chat, and trade in. You need the wireless adapter to use it. If you don't have the adapter, you can still trade and battle in the room next to it. The chat think is really useless though, because the adapter can only work if the person isn't more then thirty feet away from you, and if there that close you can just talk to them normally. The only real use for it is if you are in school or something, which is precisley what I use it for. Overall the game will keep you busy for a while, but I still think they should have wrote a new story!

Nintendo Loves Remakes

It't not a big secret that Nintendo has no shame in remaking its classic titles for new systems with a few added features. Yes, they have added a few new things onto the old game, but at its core, it's still just a rehash of Red/Blue. The adapter is nice, but not worth much, nintendo doesnt have a great track record with supporting add-ons like this, this game is a remake after all, and a remake of a game that can still be found for cheap at any EB World or Babbages. Dont get me wrong, the pokemon games are very fun and addictive games, If you havent played the original, add two stars to the review, this is a great game, and with the extra features and adapter should be a really good purchase, but if u have been into the poke-craze long enough to recite the "poke-rap" then u might want 2 think twice

I ordered this for my son, who loves it. The only problem was that they didn't send the one with the adaptor, and to return it and re-order would cost more. I called Target (because I couldn't find an Amazon number - I have dial-up so they couldn't call me) and got transfered to the right place. They had no more games with adaptors, or just the adaptors. Therefore, they told me that if I could find one, they would credit my account for the amount of the adaptor, which they did. Great customer service!

I am a HUGE fan of pokemon even though people tell me I'm not a child anymore (I'm 14) Who cares! I'm totally excited about the Green/Red games appearing. I just recently played my old red and remembered how much I loved it when I got it. This will be even better. The new connector to link battles and chatters is new and a great idea. New graphics, new people and eh...imported things from the other version is going to be a great installment. I'm really looking forward to getting this game...so should you!

This game is kind of like playing gold and silver but backwards.
You play in the kanto Region and go to the rainbow islands which are kind of like Jhoto Region Im getting this game tonight.

This game is the best it allows you to trade with out a wire.This game is in kanto with the indigo leage. You start at the lab of oak in pallat town and battle up to the elite 4 and the indigo leage.

This game looks so cool! I'm willing to spend 35 of my $60 on it! I can finally play pokemon with my friends at school...WITH OUT A CABLE! I will catch em' all!
