The people who say that the limit of dogs is 3 or 5 or whatever,
the real limit is 8 cuz you can keep 5 in the hotel and 3 at home.
And to those people who say this game is a waste of time, you're
wasting time writing these hypercritical reviews. You are here to write
the pros and cons and tiny comments about the game but most of these
people are saying "If you like this game, you're retarded" and stuff like that.
Just say "I would not recommend this game" and reasons why. I'm done here
and I hope all you People learned something from this. Have a nice day.

It's fun sometimes

Personally, one of my favorite parts of the game is that you can hear your own voice from the recording system. Sometimes I spend almost an hour saying goofy things or talking in an accent to see how it sounds. Other than that, it's a little "iffy".

The game is loads of fun at first, but it gets a little old after awhile. Right now I'm just feeding them every day, since I feel like I did almost everything. The contests are fun, I guess, but you can only do three per dog per day. Sometimes that can be a royal pain if you want to make it to the championship, especially for the obedience trials. And even the contests start to get old.

This game can be really fun, but it's definitely not for everyone. It's good for people who can't get a dog because you get a perfectly healthy, adorable puppy who doesn't get old or sick, doesn't get the neighbors mad for barking too much, and doesn't mess up the house. It's not good for people who like lots of action and competitiveness.

Overall, it's an well-made game and the puppies are adorable, but it's definitely limited.

Trust me, when I saw this, I had my doubts, but then I saw the lab and friends version. I have a lab, so that attracted. Eagerly opening my game i realized, this has good graphics...
When you start, you are immeadiatley swept into the dog kennel. you pick your first gog. I got a lab, (yelloW) named molly. In this version you can pick from Labrador Retrievers, Miniature Schnauzers, toy poodles, pembroke welsh corgis, miniatuer pinschers, and shiba inus! let me tell you, if you think this is dumb or not cute, you have to have a cold heart, because the second I bought molly, i fell in love. it's so involving and cute. There's so much more, but this game, is the reason i kept my DS, and I'm glad I did.

This game is too cute !!!!!!!!!!!! My kids have wanted a real puppy for years now, something we're not ready to take on given that we have a senior dog already. This game is as close as you're going to get to having a real life puppy. The game puppy looks 100% realistic and reacts to the user input exactly like a real life puppy would. For example - the Nintendo DS puppy sees a strange object on the floor and starts wierding out and barking at it in the same cute way a real life puppy would. I don't know everything this game does but I do know that my kids can't get enough of it.

GREAT GAME!

This is a fun game because you get to actually feed, water, bathe and train your dogs. You get to go on competitions such as disc competitions, agility trials and obediance trials. As you play these competitions and trials, depending on what level you're competing on, you will earn tons of money. This is a very good game and I encourage others to give it a try. Plus there is a feature where you can talk to others that have a DS lite if they are in a certain distance from you - very cool!!!

YEAH FINALLY!!!

I have waited forever to get this game. I went to the website (www.nintendogs.com) wich has videos of the game people's thoughts and just helpful tips. I do agree that this particular game will not come out on psp since it is called nintendo and they just added a g to make it nintendogs. I played the demo and fell in love with this game. I don't have a dog since my parents can't stand them so they are getting me this to make it up to me. I was so excited to see the huge selection of dogs ranging from a chiuacha to a german shepard. You dont have to get all 3 games to get all the dogs you only need one. You will start off by getting the breeds from your game like all the dogs in the lab game to chose from then the more you play the more you unlock not just breeds but items for day to day use. Another aspect of the game I adore it that you get to do comitions to earn money. I am an akc jr. handler and the the choice of ethier showing, agility, and obedience. With the ds it has a built in microphone so you can talk to your dog. It also helps with training it. The cool thing is your dog respones to your voice they really act like real dogs. Over all this game rocks and I give it an A+++++++++++++++ ext.

If you like this game I reomend dogz+catz 3,4,and 5. Also animal crossing.

Nintendogs give your child great confidence!

I am so glad I bought Nintendogs for my son for his birthday. He has the challenges of Autism and can not beat many games. Therefore he can be highly frustrated. This game is a real pleaser, he has found a friend in his dog and feels great about his achievements. It is most pleasurable to see him smile as he plays this game!

Hours of fun.

I have never played this game, but my ten year old daughter loves it. She gets very excited about entering competitions and earning prize money, and buying more dogs from the pound. There is a life-lesson in their somewhere. Strangely enough, I was ordered to pet the dog one time while she ran outside for something and the graphics were crisp and very good. If I were a kid, I think this could be fun for a while. The game was about $20. I think that is a good value, considering the amount of time that she spends playing it. It is also a game that does not have violence or cursing. The most graphic scene is when the dog has to go poo-poo. Games have come a long way since PacMan.

Great Fun!

My 10-year old daughter absolutely loves this game! There's so much to do with the dogs. She hardly plays any of her other games!
