This game has really realistic dogs, and the graphics are really nice. The gogs actually manage to be really good looking, and look way better than the screenshots! THis has kept me entertained since september, and now it's December. I still really like it, and by the way I'm over 13, I'm just too lazy to log in.

I have a dogz and catz game. It is like this except it is not 3d and is a pc game and was made in the 90's. You feed them and play with them simple. No not simple. This isn't just a game to me. It is like once I pick it up I enter another galaxy of virtual pets! I love traning my dogs endlestly. I crave this game! If you don't have it you hate puppys.

I got this game for Christmas and at first I couldn't stop playing it. My labrador learned obedience and agility. I ended up getting 8 dogs. However, there is only so much you can do. Sure, it's fun when your dog wins the agility championship, but after 60 consecutive victories it gets pretty boring. I collected over $75,000 just from my dogs' many consecutive victories. The dogs never age or change much. It was fun, but I soon got rid of most of my dogs because I was just too bored with it to play it anymore. It made me feel guilty to not take care of them much, so I deleted all the info. So, in short, get this game if you can stand to do the same thing over and over again. If not, then skip it.

I love this game very much. You will want to buy it because the dogs are so cute and realistic. There are so many fun things you can do with your dog. You can dress them up,play with them, train them, and even take them on a walk. You can also have more than one dog! Buy this game before it's sold out!!! (From Missy age 8 and mom)

this game is great!

this game is so cool. you get to adopt your own dogs, and the animation of the dogs is incredible! my favorite part of this game would have to be entering it into a disk competion (which i think is the easiest), also taking them on walks. i recomend this game to people who may be alergic or not able to get a pet, but it is still a great game for everyone. one thing in my opionion i dont really like is that you have to wait 30 minutes to take them on a walk, and that you only can go into competions 3 times a day. but overall this is a great game!

Very fun.

Wow, this game is a lot of fun! When you enter the world of Nintendogs, you can take care of a virtual dog, interact with other puppies, as well as own dozens of different items.

There are three variations of the game: Labrador, Chihuahua, and Dachshund. Each has different starting dogs, but you can eventually unlock every dog on one cartridge by gaining enough "Trainer points".

You can walk your dog and meet neighboring pups, and your puppy's stamina grows, so the more walks you take, the farther you can walk. You must be careful that your dog doesn't eat any trash it may find, and also to clean up when it poops.

There are only 3 different contests your dog may play in, but they are fun and placing high enough earns money to buy stuff. Like real life, you must train your dog for competitions, and the game doesn't allow you to overwork your puppy, adding to the realism.

This game uses the touch screen far more than the buttons, so it's a good idea to purchase a screen protector for your DS. This is a great way to experience owning a dog, especially if you are allergic or cannot have a real one. It gets a little repetitive after a while, but only if you play non-stop. If you switch to another game, like Mario, and play Nintendogs between your other games, it will stay fun for a good long time.

Nintendogs is more realistic than it seems, as you really can't neglect playing for weeks/months. Your dogs will get hungry and may even run away if you neglect them. Their personalities reflect off of how you raise them, just like in real life.

And to all those talking about a PSP version of Nintendogs, I doubt it. Sony would get a bad reputation if they tried it, seeing as it would be a complete lack of originality. Plus, you'd have to buy an attachment for both a touch screen and microphone, and I don't think people will want to add more prices to the already pricy PSP.

And to those reviewers saying that us Nintendog fans have no life for playing the game, you're not much better. If you feel the need to make multiple reviews and flame this game that everyone else seems to like, you're much worse than us.

Summary:

1. Nintendogs is fun as long as you don't play it too much.

2. Nintendogs is probably NOT going to be coming out on PSP.

3. One-star reviewers, please don't spam.

*Random note: I can actually see this game coming out on the Nintendo Revolution. The Revolutions cool controller would definetly make this possible!

Nintendogs are a great game. Why you ask?
Nintendogs are the most loveable and fun game you can play on Nintendo DS. With all the adorable pups, competitions, toys, walks, EVERYTHING is, is....JUST SO AMAZING.
You can teach your pups tricks and walk and pat them, feed them and play with them, with the touch sensitive screen and the stylus.
It's like, showing people how to take care of a real pup. I have never played a game so loveable, fun, cool and Great. I just hope everyone else gets to know the game as well as i have.

I think that it should be rated 5 stars because you can go to the kennel and buy cool dogs but the agrvating part is when you have to train your dog before you can do anything with it like taking it for walks. So please buy this game.

My daughter has played with nothing else since Christmas. I hear her talking to the dog and teaching it tricks and feeding it and I'm wondering who she's conversing with. I even have to check her school bag now to make sure she's not sneaking it to school with her.
Just wish she'd pay so much attention training her real dogs!
