we purchased this game a few weeks ago and have not been able to stop playing. especially "funhouse". if we never used our wii for anything else, it was worth getting the console just to be able to play this pinball game. make sure you do get the nunchucks. it's a whole lot more fun to be able to use both hands when playing--it feels like you're at an actual machine. and be careful not to tilt!

Cool Game - Recommend for all Ages!

This game is totally awesome. Our friends came by on a Friday night and ate pizza and beer, and played this pinball game for hours. You can also have a Williams Challenge which gives you extra credits. The Tournament was great also. I'm glad I purchased this game. The Graphics and Music are the best quality. I really enjoyed the FunHouse game the most.

I am not one for writing too many reviews but I love this pinball collection on the Wii. It has great tables like Funhouse, Whirlwind, GORGAR, and Black Knight. I really wish it had Medevil Madness but that could be for the 90's edition game collection. I would buy that too.

AWESOME physics and everything looks just like the real thing. For the price of the game it is well worth it. We are always playing pinball since it is so accessible. The tilt function with the Wii Remote is an interesting touch.

PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE. They really are a lot of fun!

Great Graphics, Fair Game

I've been a fan of real pinball all my life and have played most of the popular tables. I've also played video pinball since the days of the early DOS based games. Quite frankly, this game has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, but the gameplay leaves me flat. Way too many balls are lost down the side after launch without any opportunity to hit them. It also seems that when you have a good ball, the program punishes you by having a bad ball right away. "Bumping" the table is of very little help. And if you're over thirty, you'll probably be looking for the audio option to turn the annoying techno-music between games down or off!

The Williams tables are great, but I hope someone comes out with some of the old Bally tables next.

Always Rent a Wii Game before purchasing

This game was not what i expected. It was too hard to control the ball, and not nearly as entertaining as the reviews made it sound. From now on i will rent a game before i buy it for me wii.

This is the second pinball game I have purchased for the WII and I must admit it is not my favorite. While the graphics are good and the play is challenging, it really works best for one player. For the life of me, I could not find a way to get the game to allow the use of two controllers. So that means in order to allow 2 players, you must pass the controller back and forth. Not my idea of fun!

But to be honest, overall it is a good game if you like pinball.

Good Idea Poorly Done

I saw this on line and said to myself I just have to have this.
I put it in my Wii I was disappointed. Did not have many of The William's classics . The back glass pictures are faded. The camera work is jerky at best. Not recommended

Sorry, but I do not find this to be a very good pinball game. I have 4 of Sierra's pinball games for my PC and I LOVE them. I am a rather avid pinball player, like good graphics, lots of action. I have all those in Sierra's games. I just thought that a pinball game for the Wii would be very good graphically, and it just isn't in my opinion. I was dismally disappointed. I played the games thru one night and I haven't even been interested in it enough to get it out again. Maybe Sierra can make some pinball games for the Wii? This just seemed to be too much like a very cheap PC pinball game.

Pinball game I was looking for

This is a lot of fun. The games play like the real thing, the tables are classics, and offer a good variety. I enjoy stepping back to the 70's to play Jive Time after playing a newer 90's design like Whirlwind. Funhouse is one of my all time favorites.
I hope a sequel is developed. I'd like to play more tables.
Complaints:
I don't think this game actually makes use of my widescreen TV. The ball looks stretched wide to fill the screen, so the resolution may be a little less than the Wii can actually offer. Also, it'd be nice if you could select your own mp3 music off the flash card. The tunes that come with the game are OK, but get old fast.

I've been WAITING for this ...

I have always been a fan of Virtual pinball, dating back to playing Pinbot on my NES right after I got married. And from that moment on, I remember thinking to myself, "Now if they'd only make a port of 'Taxi.'"

Well it took 17 years, but I finally got my Taxi fix, along with a lot more classic Williams tables. I actually boght the original Gottlieb collection, and while enjoyable the table selection was less than stellar. This version is SPOT ON ! The only real letdown is Jive Time, but considering there's ten machines on this disc, it's a minor complaint.

If you are familiar with the Gottlieb disc, there aren't as many customizations or unlockables, but it's not that much of a letdown. The only thing that I wish they'd left in was the opton to switch to a 5 ball game. I know that 3 balls was standard for the lifecycle of most of these machines, but I always felt I was just hitting my stride by the 3rd ball & 2 more balls would have added to that.
