Should be an OK

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 50 / 116

Im not a huge harry potter fan, but this game should be an interesting one to watch. It should sell out very quickly to kids, so reserve yours today.

The game is based on the hit book series by JK rowling. In the GBA game, you must survive the first year at Hogwarts. This game is made Electronic Arts game. You play the Role of Harry potter exploring Hogwarts in his first year as a student wizard. You must enter classes with Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasly and master 29 skills that are used in the book. You must also overcome challenges that come each term, such as looking for Hagrid's lost pets or finding the sorcerers stone itself.

It should be a hit among kids and will sell out very quickly. EA sure knows how to make a lot of money. There is also a GBC counterpart to this GBA game, which should also sell well.

ITS O.K

This game isnt that great even if you like love Harry Potter cause it gets tedious after a while of doing the same thing over and over...Also you have 2do A WHOLE LOT before You can save ur game each time u turn it off. If you have Plastaion get it on that instead cause it will be ALOT better

Entertaining

There are few games that can hold my attention for long. Though I agree that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for Gameboy Advance is easy, I'm inexplicably addicted to it. The puzzles are not particularly challenging, per se, but it makes you feel good when you can actually SOLVE them at all, unlike other games where you're stumped for days.

It's an easy, lighthearted game that's good for passing your time with -- and the graphics make great eyecandy too.

Has potential, but...

This game could have been a great game. The graphics are great. The IDEA itself is great. But the game is NOT. It's REALLY hard, and can get tedious. For example, you can't just save your game whenever you want--you have to find a "magic book." Don't get me wrong. It is a marginally fun game, sometimes--all the gnome shooting is all right, and the puzzles are fun. But if you want to WIN this game, your in for a challenge.
If you are the parent of a 12-15 year old, who likes being challenged and has a great attetion span, you might consider this game. Otherwise, forget it.

this is a fairy well game... but ...

ok... i though that this was hard at first but... all of a sudden all you know is that you are at the very end! like it's cool...
but the grafics are ok.. and the music is normal...
all in all i give this item a 4 star cause it's ends really fast!
but i would advise it!

Harry Potter is HARD!

well, this game is, um, hard. HARD! First you gotta go to potions class, go throuh a huge maze in hagrid's garden, chase malfoy on a broom, then at night sneak down to the third floor. THAT's where i'm stuck since it's HARD! There are too many people on patrol that catch you and it's hard! So, if u like easier games, don't buy this!

I thought the game was awsome. I a lot of fun playing it. I fact one night I was playing it in my bed and my dad said lights out so I hid under the bed and put my worm light in and played for hours. It's really easy to get hooked on it. But I coulden't give it a 5 because the grapics were weak. I was hoping for some more 3D grapics (like in the computer game) and not just two dementinol. The music was eariy and got anoying fast. But all in all it was a great game and i'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I recamend this game for kids 8 to adult and Harry Potter fans who love vidio games.

I just rented the game for my Game Boy Advance and it ROCKS. It is the best electronic game I ever played! I love shooting all the characters and seing what they are gonna say even if I lose house points for shooting the teachers, I still love it! But getting to Hagrids hut is pretty tricky so you need patience. This game is SO COOL! I just love being Harry and controlling his life I just can't imagine why someone wouldn't like this game. It RULES! I recommend this game for EVERY age! It ROCKS!!!

I bought this item for my birthday and it is simply superb. This game requires a lot of thinking and once you have mastered all the puzzles, its going to become entertaining. it follows the plot in the book, how ever in one place or the other, they have added stuff which is not in the book. The game is very short though. Was dissappointed. But had a great time playing it. I would recommend it to every harry potter fan.

Greatest Harry Potter Game

This game is a very good Harry Potter game. So far, I own all four Harry Potter GBA games. This one is still my favorite (although, number 3 comes close in second). This game is NOT frustrating. This game is NOT hard, and most of all, all of you who say it is are not good enough of gamers to play this game. This game isn't even designed to be difficult, and you seem to have trouble beating a very simple game. The colors are bright, although the prefects ARE in the dark and they are difficult to get past, and the game follows the movie and the book okay for a game.
