If i put five stars to this game, it's because:
1) I love the world of Harry Potter
2) The musics are great
3) The graphisms are really good
4) The story is perfectly folowed
5) I will play it again and again, i can't stop !!

I think it's enought to put 5 stars on this game.

This game was very frusterating! The lighting for the game was very bad. I could barely see the screen. I even had a gameboy light. And beacuse of the bad lighting, i would fall into pits often and have to start back at the begining. I don't reccomend this product. Get the computer version instead. It's a lot easier!

I bought this game for my gameboy advance and i regret that i bought it. My friend has the Gameboy color game which is loads better. When ever you go to hit a gnome with a spell, it misses and the gnome attacks you and you die. This game starts out at hogwarts, while the game boy color game you get to buy all you supplies etc. If i were you, I would save my money and buy the Gameboy Color Version (it is better and cheaper!!!)

Harry Potter was a great game the first and almost the second time you played it. The music was okay, but I would have liked it if they got a little more into detail with the game. I would have liked if the game saved automically, it was annoying when you had to turn off the game when you had gotten so far, and not collected a save book, and then you had to start all over. In conclusion, Harry Potter, is for somewhat younger children.

I'm stuck

I got the game two days ago - I can't put it down!
At certain points you have to figure out how to use certain items, because the game doesn't tell you, so It may be difficult for younger kids.
The puzzles are cute, but not the most challenging things in the world - but that's to be expected, it is a game for kids ^_^
I'm only at the point where you have to collect the 'Flobber Worms' and I'm stuck (...)
It is a very addictive game. I haven't been this attached to a game in years.

Well, true, it is HARD but, if you want to beat it, lets say it keeps you occupied for... a long time. It is like re liveing the 1st book, and also, it is a way to make money off the movie. But, it does keep you going. And when you win it is like: OH YEA! LOOK AT ME!! I WON! BOOH YEA! lol. I give it 5 stars

If you like (LOVE) the books, then the game's for you!

My brother got the game, I started playing it just out of curiosity... I found that I couldn't stop!!!!! You just want to play it, and playit, and play it.... It follows the book quite well. If you like the books, take my word for it, GET THE GAME!

Good Game, Too Short

I'm not a very big Potter fan, but I thought this game sounded fun so I decided to pick it up. Whether it was fun or not is hard to say....It was definitely challenging, and definitely addictive. It was also definitely tedious at times, and definitely too short.

You take on the role of the glasses-clad, pint-sized wizard during his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You attend classes, interact with fellow students like best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as well as arch-rival Draco Malfoy. The real point of the game is to win points by completing challenges and such. If you have the most points at the end of the game, you win the "House Cup." If you don't have the most points, your rivals win the cup.

Classes tend to be tough. You start out in the classroom, and the teacher teaches you a spell. To learn the spell, you basically play a game of Simon, wizard style. The teacher will do a series of wand movements, and you have to memorize the movements and repeat them. If you succeed, you learn the spell, and then you go into a challenge room in which you will put the spell to use. For instance, after learningg the Lumos Light spell, you will go into a dark room in which you will have to use the spell to light the room up and complete an objective.

Most of the challenge revolve around finding a number of things, usually six stars. You'll also have to find six flobberworms, six moly plants, and so on. This is where it gets tedious. For example, after spending a long time finding five of the six objects, you accidently fall in a hole. Oops. Time to start all over again.

Other challenges include sneaking around at night, trying not to let anyone see you. If they do see you, you lose three points. And it's very, very hard to avoid being seen at all. You're bound to find yourself wanting to throw your Game Boy through a window after the sixteenth time your turn a corner, only to find a teacher waiting. The other challenge is the Quidditch game, which you will play three times. The goal is to chase a speedy golden ball, called the Golden Snitch, and stay as close to it as you can. After you persistently stay close to it for a while, you're giving the chance to grab it by pressing the A or B button. It may sound simple, but it isn't.

So yes, the game is challenging and at times extremely annoying. It's also too short. I beat the game in two days. Still, it's a good game and worth it, and I do hope they'll make the other books into games as well.

harry potter was a very good game to play. i got it for christmas and beat it in about 2 days. it was fun most of the time but sometimes it would get frusterating. flying can be hard so you should read the instructions. sometimes it would get confusing, like at the time when quarrell was trying to capture you at the end, i didn't know what to do but then i stayed away from him and made the spell he was casting hit the poles. then i used the mirror to sheild myself and it worked out fine.it doesn't all the time end up like the game for me slytherin still won at the end for house points because i got caught a lot at night but over all it was still a fun game.
