This game dosen't look so bad. From what i've read about this game it follows the book pretty well. The book is AWESOME, if this game is as good as the book its got my money! If you look at the cover his sword is glowing blue, that is from the book. In the book when orcs or goblins are near it glows blue. Chances are in this game you will kill goblins, find items(and the ONE RING(see the lord of the rings movie), and kill Smaug the dragon. In my opinion this looks like a great action-adventure game! I gave it 4 stars because i havent actually played the game.Peace out!

The graphics and art design of the whole thing is very nice, especially for a GBA title. This game is simple but still very fun, and hard to put down. Game play is pretty straight forward, but there are still enough surprises to distinguish it from similar titles. It actually follows the story very well. This is a great game for younger kids!

The Hobbit video game for the GBA is very fun to play and its addictive. The graphics are excellent and the game-play is solid. The Hobbit for the GBA is a game that deserves a good five-star rating. I can never put this game down: its just so fun and addictive because of all the action, adventure, and fun!

The Hobbit is now the best GBA game I own. In my opinion it is even better than the Zelda games. This game is very addictive, as many people I know have said, and it is extremely fun to play! There is so many enemies to fight in this game. Battling goblins, giant spiders, and other monsterous-beings is just plain fun. The adventure and game-play The Hobbit has to offer is remarkable! I have nothing bad to say about this GBA game title. Buy it! It is worth the money.

"The Hobbit" video game for the GBA is very addictive and has remarkable game-play to offer! This game does not deviate from the book it is based on much at all, which is one reason I like it so much. If you like "Zelda" then you most likely will love "The Hobbit" video game for the Game Boy Advance. This game is very addictive, fun, has a lot of adventure mixed with action, and has great graphics and gameplay. It is not too easy, nor too hard. It does get a little strategic at points and can get a little hard (but not too hard). There are a lot of enemies to kill in "The Hobbit" video game so what are you waiting for?! BUT IT NOW! This game won't dissapoint.

If you own a GBA and are bored with the games that you have for it then buy 'The Hobbit'. This game is relaxing and very fun! The action and adventure in this game is very intense. Best of the handheld Tolkien's

Two Towers was a fun hack n slash, and the original LOTR game by Vivendi for the GBA left alot to be desired. However one thing it achieved possibly too well was the breadth of Tolkien's universe. This game manages to capture the essence of its wonderful source material, with all of the action and dialogue taken directly from the novel. Some of this can feel rushed particularly Gollum's first appearance, this is why I am taking a star off. Gameplay wise this is a terrific Zelda clone with all sorts of goodies, weapons and hidden areas. The game makes full use of the GBA and its buttons with a fair amount of the action relegated to the left shoulder button if you desire (weapons etc.) The save system is another reason I am giving this four stars (isolated save books), otherwise this is a great game that captures the flair of the writing which inspired it.

Dissapointing

This game isn't what it seems. The only things you fight really are animals. Sure, you fight goblins in the cave where you find the ring and at the end of the game, but otherwise its all wolves spiders and plants. Yes, you fight a lot of plants. the actual fighting isn't to good either. Bilbo keeps swinging his weapon back and forth the same way, which gets REALLY boring. This game is a dissapointment to LOTR. Only get if you are truly completely bored. (In my game theres a glitch that won't let me pass the level with the elves!!)
