Review for The Sims Bustin' Out for GBA.

Believe it or not, this is my first Sims that I have ever played. Most people, unlike me have played the original Sims for PC first then start buying expansions and other console versions. At first, I thought this game was some living life game (and it is) and I wondered why would I have to live a life again when you are already going through what you have to go through! I saw that this game was overhyped and I was tired of all the Deluxe editions and Expansions for this game. I hated this game without even playing it and was sick of just seeing the word Sims in Amazon.com.

But one day, my sister came back home from school. She was excited. While I was playing my Counter Strike as usual, my sister came up to me with her Gameboy Advanced and said "Brian, you gotta play this game, it's the BEST GAME EVER!" And I was shocked. After that, I never touched her Gameboy Advanced but eventually, she got me into playing.

When I played it, I was even more shocked. It was one of the best game ever for GBA. It was way better than I expected and I was totally hooked on it. That's how I became a Sims fan after this game.

Unlike the first Sims, you can go around places in different areas and not just stuck in your home. There are many mini games such as lawn mowing, fishing, beer serving, chicken collecting, and pizza making just to name a few. You also have specific missions to accomplish so it's not very difficult. The mood is easy to keep it up unlike the Sims for PC. There are many other things that I probably forgot to mention but you probably read it from other reviewers.

Gameplay-10 (Best gameplay ever for GBA.)
Graphics-10 (You can't get any better than this.)
Sound-9 (Great music and great sound quality but some annoying sounds like "sool sool" etc.)
Replay Value-9 (You keep on coming back!)
Overall-9.5 which is an A, a great score and a MUST OWN!

Just to let you know that this is the first game ever to get me off from my PC games (FPS, RTS, RPG) for one whole week! This game is great. A game that turns FPS, RTS, RPG fan into a Sims fan gotta be a good game. Get this game right now!

GREAT GAME

This game is addicting. The only bad thing is there is no free play feature. I like how you get to get a scooter and its fun to take care of the pets you get to get. One tip there is a black chicken STAY AWAY from it it will make u pass out and you will wind up in the hospital.

Very Addictive

I honestly didn't know how this game would be when I got it. I love the PC games and have played them for years. (I recently got Sims 2 and in my opinion nothing can beat that game, it is great!)

I can't play the PC games all the time though because I am a stay-at-home mom and am busy 24-7. My one year old also fusses when I get on the computer which makes it hard to play when I have free time.

I thought I would be horrible at The Sims for gameboy because it is my husband's and I can't even play Mario Brothers. I suck at those types of games! When I got Bustin Out it was so different than any other game you find. I can sit on the couch when I have a free moment and take my time playing it. There is no rush and it is a good way to pass my free time. My son doesn't bother me with it because he can't see the screen. For me it is really worth it!

I think anyone would enjoy this game! You can't beat it for a game you carry around in your purse or pocket.

If you don't have it youre not livin

This is by far the greatest thing to happen to Gameboy owners. Both of my siblings are equally addicted to the game as I am, and we have completely different opinions in video games. And parents, don't worry. This game is totally child-safe.

I just LOVE this game! I haven't stopped playing since I got it. It's addictive, and very fun.

Your Sim can get a roommate, buy whatever you want to buy, and do whatever! It's the perfect game for RPG lovers, and a great game for any video game liker. Even if you hate video games, you've got a pretty good chance of liking this one. Buy it, buy it now. Stop trying to figure out what you want to spend your money, or gift certificate, or whatever on. BUY THIS GAME!

Thank you.

What was it like?

Well, I've been a great fan of The Sims right when I saw it and since then, I've collected many fun Expansion Packs and other stuff. When I started on this game, I didn't know what to do and i was confused, but after about 3 minutes, I was hooked on! The day I got it, I played for about 3-4 hours and kept going for the next day. I lost about half a pound from not eating and instead playing the game! It's fun because when you finish the game, you can still get around and do other stuff and make friends. You can unlock many things like the Vacation Island. Another game that I liked was Harvest Moon for GBA, check it out!

a really cool game

this game is really good because it keeps on going. you never want to stop playing the game.

the game is very different to other sim games. if you have played a teen sim game, then this one is very "E." it is very un violant and different to the sims burstin out for other sistems

it is good for kids 6-10. other kids would ether not understand the words, or think it is to "babyish" for them.

over all it is a good first sim game, but as you get older, switch to a pc game.

WOW!classic sims from PC with a story and more fun!!!!

ok i'm gonna give my review in catagories..but overall the is game is GREAT. Not the best game for young children since it involves alot of reading and coversation but a super game. You can ask any of you freinds in simvalley to come live with you, live alone,or have a pet dog, cat, or even some exotic pets!! There always seems to be something to do in this game!

Gameplay - gameplay on this game is very very good...its the same heart as the classic sims on computer with maintaining your persons happiness (bladder, sleep, hygeine, food, ect.) but made a little easier so you can get your jobs around town done. You cannot build your own house in this one but with everything else to do its not a big deal at all. This sim's has a storyline and tasks to complete so you can moove into bigger houses, get new jobs, ect. ....if you have ever played animal crossing on the gamecube you will find this sorda similar...same type of play you can work for people around town and go along with the story or if you want just work and make some money..buy some new furnature ect. another cool thing on the game is the abilty participate in auctions at the stores. At certain times the stores hold actions and you can bid against your fellow simvalley neighbors. overall gamepley's great GAMEPLAY- 10/10

Storyline - A decent story line. You come to live in your uncle's town. Stay in his barn at the begining and later moove out on your own making money doing jobs. You complete you tasks and progress in the game in what you can and cant do. At first you stay in a limited tiny part of the town...whitch had me woried at first because I though that it was the whole town, But you later unlock the rest of the town whitch is pretty big. It will take a while to not need the map. Overall the sorys good. At first it'll seem kinda dumb and extremely easy but it opens and toughens up as you progress. STORY - 9/10

Graphics- Graphics on this game are also really good. Better then many other GBA games. Everything is easy to see and tell what it is. I dont think graphics get much better on the GBA.
Grapics - 9.5/10

Sounds- Just about the same sounds as the oringal sims on computer. The people mumble as you read what there saying. Sound effects are really good. Overall sounds good...not amazing but good. SOUND - 9/10

Replayability/Playtime - Well obviously its not as fun to play a story line the second time, but you can always work on making money to buy the fanciest stuff to fill your home with. I have not finished this game yet so really wouldnt know what happends in the end. But as with other sim games there seems to always be something to do ( you can work out at the gym and earn body points, read cooking books, mechanical books, logic books, ect to improove your skills, or just hang out cruise around town working and buying). For a game with a storyline this one has great playtime considering how much there is to do in it. PLAYTIME/REPLAYABILITY- 10/10

OVERAL THIS GAME IS GREAT.... there always something to do or improve on. 10/10!!!!

if your going on a roadtrip anytime soon BUY THIS GAME BEFORE YOU GO!...this game wil kepp you entertained for ever in the car, on a plane, on a train WHERE EVER!!! JUST GO OUt ANd BUY IT

Warning: This game may be more addictive than it appears.

I love this game. I have been a fan of The Sims from the beginning and even though this is very different, you still shouldn't miss out.
You are a sim, a boy or girl, and you start out living in your uncle's farm. You won't stay there for long; once you finish off some simple tasks, visit the first part of the town, and make some money mowing your uncle's lawn, you will move up in the world! There are 8 mini games which are challenging and fun and can be great sources of income. There are also a ton of people to meet, stores to shop in, and sights to see.
If you're a hardcore sims fan, you may be disappointed. You can't make houses or complex relationships and you can only be one character. Also, it can sometimes be annoying because you can only do certain tasks at certain times of the day. In addition, you may have a big plan to get a ton of things done in one day but whoops! you have to send your sim to the bathroom. Sometimes it seems as if the needs of the sim are just added to make it like the original; instead of being an important part of the story, they are often just giant annoyances.
However, once you get into the flow of things and find all sorts of secrets, you will love it.

One of the best games for GBA.

This was my first sims game. It's really worth the money. You start off living in your uncle Hayseed's barn. After you complete some of the goals he makes you move of out of your barn and into the clock tower. I have spent hours playing this game. The time sort of goes by slow, but sleeping makes the time go three times faster. This game also can get annoying.

1. Your sim might start to complain because it is hungry, has to pee, wants entertainment, or is tired. When this happens, you can't talk to anyone.

2. If you get a dog, it pees all over your house and you can't punish it. You also have to clean it up.

3. It's hard to please people. One of your goals might be to befriend the detective but the choices they give you to say will only make him madder.

4. You have to pay your bills and sometimes others, like 1000 for club rub.

Other than that this game is worth it.
