This is going to be a reallys unique Sims game. Instead of the pick here type you can actual control you sim just as if you were playing an RGP or any other game where you can wonder around and move. Since you control it you can only have an NPC room mate, and you can have cat or a dog too. You can drive the car and do mini games, and just do regular The Sims stuff. there are 8 different mini games like lawn mowing, cliff diving and pizza game. You can also have your sim actuall swim in the pool and be able to control it. There are no kids in the game and you can't build a h ouse but only decorate the premade houses. There are levels you have to complete, and it should take you a good 30-40 hours just to do levels, but you can spend as long as you wanting playing it. There are 150 unlockable objects and there is a new auction mode. You can also hook it up to you Gamecube The Sims and trade simleons and objects too. Overall it's a must for any The Sim fan.

I didn't think I would like this game. Starting out there aren't many option when creating your Sim, there's no house building at all, and you have to move this little person which seemed...cheap(?). But, hello! It had me hooked quick with soooo many goals, and witty dialogue choices, funny characters. There are still the classic Sim needs that you have to fulfill. You need to do little mini games in order to get job promotions, which are fun. Before playing my first impression was of a simple Pokemon style game with no depth. Not so! This game is as addictive as all The Sims games. I just got it today and I love it (have already played for about 3 hours). If you're wondering I have (and have been addicted to) The Sims for PS2, and The Sims Deluxe with the Vacation expansion pack. This is a great game for everyone...

I got this game as soon as it came out. I never thought the graphics would look better than i expected and the controller is actually easy to use. This game is very challenging because you have too many goals to fulfill and plus you can take your time. And you actually work this time. You dont just hop in the car and come home with money. You actually have to work and if you're pretty good at it you earn more money or you get a promotion. My first job was to lawn the backyard and i wasnt that good because i would ruin the flowers but i kept working until i got promoted.. I guess this is too much information .. buy the game , you'll love it !!!

yo this game is the bomb nathan game yeah

This game is way more fun then I thought it would be. I like how you actually have to earn money now by doing the mini-games instead of just going to work for several hours like in the PC version. I like how you can move your sim around with the controler instead of just clicking, but you have to be dead on when trying to interact with an object. That took some getting used to, but now I have no problem with it. Haven't tried it yet, but I am curious to see what happens when you connect the GBA to the GC. From what I read you can play your sim on both systems. Definitely get this if you are a sim fan.

Much, much better than expected

I was extremely surprised how much I've enjoyed this version of Sims. I've played Gamecube and PC versions, but this by far is my favorite (haven't played online version). You lead your sim around via the control pad instead of having to click somewhere you want your sim to walk. You still have to take care of bodily functions and your home, but you have plenty of time to run around the town to complete your different missions in order to unlock more of the game. Try it; you'll definitely like it.
