should come with a label that says "highly addictive"

This game is cut from a different cloth. Once you get into it, even just slightly, more than likely you will be hooked 100%. The irony of it all is that the game has you doing ordinary, daily chores as opposed to fighting aliens or pulling armed robberies like in other popular games. I would suggest buying a Gameboy Advance SP if you don't already own one--if not, you will suffer from back/neck aches from playing for hours on end without a light. Highly recommended.

This Game Is Confusing But Fun

I've had the Sims Bustin Out on my gameboy for quite a while now. And I love it but it confuses me sometimes. Like it wants you to get your popularity up to 60 and there is only like 23 people that live in the town so how is that possible?? But this game is really fun and cool and my friend Natasaha and Taylor love it too. I really love some of the charecters. I LOVE Gusesppi Muzzalato and the way he walks like a chicken. I also love some of the sounds the Sims make. I definatly reccomend this game!

Awesomely fun game!

I bought this game a couple of years ago when it was new. I enjoyed it so much i played through it at least 3 times. The graphics fit the game well. The dialouge is funny, although a little repetative and the missions are fun to do. I loved mowing the lawn. This game was worth what i paid when it was $35 and is really worth the $20 price tag. I traded this game in when i bought my Gamecube and found it to be the worst game related decision i have ever made. I loved this game and really miss it. I bought Urbz for DS thinking it would be better but it wasn't as good as Bustin Out. I promise you won't be dissapointed in this game.

This game is full of wonder and is not the same as the computer version. This game also have 8 different Mini-Games which are jobs. Every time you beat a Mini-Game, you get money. Even though you can't build anything, you'll have missions instead and your have to complete them. This game should is very fun to play and it should last you a week.

Just a quickie review because I know very little about Gameboy games & the features thereof....but I can tell you that my 9-year-old has been absolutely GLUED to this game since I bought it for his birthday last month. He and his 14 year old sister were actually collaborating on a game, this in itself is a miracle. He has described some of the action to me, and though I don't play Gameboy myself, it does sound VERY funny!

This game is so much fun!!!! It is a must buy

For any sims fan, or a fan of the GBA, or a person who likes puzzles...YOU MUST GET THIS!!! This game is up to its arm pits with puzzles, games, fun challenges, goal, and any other thing you would want with a game. Plus the story line is superb! You've just got to see this game. The only down fall is that it takes a long time to do some of the goals, and it can get very monontonous. So if your a kid that has a shorter attention span than a dog... This is not the game for you. If you are a kid(or any body) that likes great game play, challenges, Fun mini games, lots of simeleons, and a twist that would suprise any great stroy teller, BUY THIS GAME!!!

Under-funded?

The Sims: Bustin' Out is a goal-oriented, console-style version of The Sims. The gameplay has been slightly watered-down, and given a more simplistic feel. Really, I think Bustin' Out was aimed at a somewhat younger audience.

The concept of the game is fun, however. You create your own 'sim' and control them in order to accomplish goals, make friends, and earn money. (To furnish your home with.) The game starts you out on your uncle's farm, where you become familiarized with some of the gameplay mechanics. Afterwards, you are sent out to explore SimValley, and meet its various denizens. From there, you will stumble upon various goals and will be required to fulfill them before moving on. After completing every goal in every chapter, you finish the game.

Unfortunately, it seems that the game was either rushed, or under-funded, as the graphics are not as up to par as they should be. In addition to this, there are several glitches which can cause certain goals to become unavailable, or incompletable. (Thus ruining any chance of actually finishing the game.) There seems to be no way around these glitches, either.

After having completed the game myself, I was sorely disappointed with the rewards of having done so. However, I will not spoil it for those who've yet to finish the game themselves. Regardless, I do think the gameplay is fun, in its own right. You won't find much entertainment in actually completing the game itself, though. Otherwise, I would recommend trying The Urbz: Sims in the City instead of Bustin' Out.

Cut Short

I have always been a fan of The Sims but it seems to me that if the Sims isn't on the PC it isn't good. For example take the Gamecube edition, it isn't good and is so much worse than the one on the PC. Bustin' Out is no exception. I spent $64 on something i thought would be excellent but was cut short. This game is too fast and isn't that hard. You can't have children, get married, build a house. It has cool minigames but nothing to rave about. A pro is you can move around on the D-Pad. I thought this was ok but not worth $64. Wait till it gets cheaper. This isn't like the Sims on PC so don't expect the same game.

WAY TO GO EA!!!!

I'm very, very picky with the gamboy advance games.
I think 85% of them are a total waste of money.
This one is worth the 30 bucks at least. I could not
put the game down, to my suprise. My daughters father
bought it for her and I thought , oh no, another thirty
dollars down the drain. I love this game. I imagined
I would play it for 10 mintues, get frustrated with the
graphics and sound and overall play and through it
in my daughters game boy bag and frown.
> Not the case at all.
This is so fun. I love the role playing action and all of
the secrets that need revealed throughout the game.
Have a blast, buy this one, you will not be upsept
that you broke the plastic seal !!!! HAPPY PLAYING...

Okay this is a very pleasant game and a nice change from building houses for Sims on my PC. I just got a GBA for Christmas and I'm pleased and surprised but as 'The Sims Bustin Out" is my very first GBA game, I've nothing to compare it to. The graphics are impressive and the game area seems very large. So I can recommend it to anyone who wants a game like an RPG with a little bit of simulation thrown in. " Catch those chickens and get off the farm! You hear?!!!"
