This game is so fun for the GBA that it is a MUST GET.For skateboarding fans like me,or kids that don't skate will like the game all the same. The only cons on it are,1.Gets old after you've
beaten it.2.There is no create a skater or park editor.3.The music could have been better. The great things are,1.Great Game, tuns of fun.2.Unbelievable for such a small system.3.Big courses, for hours of play.4.Great riders, eric koston, tony hawk, bucky lasek, and more.5.Great Graphics. There are tons of more great things about it.You should get this game.

Rip open the box, slam it in, and go crazy!

This game is enormous! It`s like playing a Playstation version that`s Hand-held! You get the same view from the Playstation, And the graphics are almost just as good! (Ex: The Playstation versions graphics are like one notch better.)If you`re in for exitement, the first game to get on a Gameboy Advance should be Ths one!

This game is just plain awesome!! Graphics are incredible for such a little system and the play is endless. Awesome selection of skaters, customizing of equipment, hidden levels, and cheats. This game has it all and really shows off the new Game Boy Advance. Everyone was awestruck when they saw it. Oh yeah, and finally my son took it away form me and got to play it!! He loves it!!

Great!

This is probably the most graphically advanced game on the GBA. It has sharp, crisp 3-D graphics that don't seem posible on a hand-held system, although it is sometimes hard to collect money and other objects because it's hard to judge where the item actually is and you have to look for the shadow. The sound is very good. You can hear the sounds of the skateboard when grinding and jumping, and it sounds surprisingly realistic. the controls are also very good with the A button used for grinding, the B button for ollieing, and the L & R buttons along with the D-pad for tricks. This game is very good and i'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is the first game I got for GBA and all I have to say is wow! This game has the best graphics for a hand held game system. The tricks are incrediable and.... I am just stuck on the graphics. They are so good! Man, if you don't have this game, I recommend that you get this. My summary for GBA and this game: WOW!!! Get this!

Well, sure, it's a decent title...

Before incurring the wrath of every Tony Hawk fan out there, let me begin by saying this: I LOVE this series. I've been a fan of the console version of this game since it first hit the racks.

As far as the GBA title goes, well, the graphics and sound are superb (it really showcases the GBA's capabilities) but it only gets 3 stars due to gameplay and control.

Granted, once you "get used" to the controls, it's a little easier, but overall the GBA boasts quite a few other titles that are more fun, more interesting, and have a higher replay value (an important consideration when you're out to blow $40 on a game.) Simply put, THPS2 just gets boring after a while (not to mention frustrating).

Like I said, the graphics are definitely top-notch, and it's fun for a little while; eventually, inevitably, it gets shelved. It's just missing something. Some people may claim this to be the "must-have" game for the GBA; I can think of at least three other titles (Advance Wars, Super Mario Advance, and Bomberman Tournament) that far surpass Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

Again, don't get me wrong; I think it's a fine game to have in your collection, but if you're at all undecided about "which game to get", I don't recommend this as the place to start.

BEST CURRENT TITLE!

Tony hawk2 is a great game, but if you are good at thps, espescially thps2, this is not a game for you. Not. While its fun for a while, it gets really easy to beat. after a while (3 days) i was able to beat the game with any character in 20 minutes. however, if you dont intend to play this game all the time, maybe only on roadtrips or during a plane flight, then its great. good graphics, good sound, nice cheats, but the controls are somewhat lacking. gameplay is downright bad. dont think im some jerk, though, i loved this game at first. its just too dang easy and repetetive. get advance wars.

This game really amazes me! This games graphics are very good, the levels look like 64 version quality, but the skaters themselves are 3D but they don't even have faces and aren't that detailed. There are 3 modes of play, Career, it's just like Pro skater 1's career mode except new levels, Free skate, just pick a level and skate to your hearts content, Sinlge Session, this is career mode without the level objectives. The game was the first I ever bought for GBA, it's a very well done and fun game. This obviously isn't the best Pro Skater game and there isn't any multiplayer, this is why it got a 4. One more thing is that you don't get as much feeling of getting big air as you do in the other versions because of the camera angle and distance from your skater, but you can't help but smile when you land your first 100,000 point trick, I did mine on the school level.

Graphics:10
Fun Factor:8.5
Gameplay:8.5
control:5 Takes some getting used to but once you learn them it's as easy and as simple as walking (well not really..)
Variety:7
OverAll:8.2
