because I liked the old music better it is allright I guess I liked it 1st person shooter to a 3rd person is good more to do

Unlike lots of people i prefer Metal Gear Solid 2 to 1.
The only good things about MGS1 is Solid Snake and a challenging FOXHOUND bosses.Thats what i think of TTS anyway-I don`t think MGS1 won`t be any different as its the same but W/O FPV,porn mag and three other weapons.
The games SHORT! whether its Meryls survival or her death.
There is hardly any humour that i adored in MGS2 and MGS3:Snake Eater.
I have GC,XB and PS2 and this is the only GC MG game but its not really any fun.
MGS3 is the BEST,MGS2 2nd and then MGS1/MGS:TTS.
The game is TOO easy aswell-on HARD i got through to the end in half an hour,and EXTREME is no different.MGS2 took a while to get through on HARD.MGS3 is more of a challenge on NORMAL then MGS:TTS is on HARD.
There are three battle-machine`s you fight:
MGS1/MGS:TTS:Metal Gear:REX
MGS2:Metal Gear:RAY
MGS3:The ShagoHod.
RAY is the best looking-"he" as a much better build than REX in every way except RAY`s feet are like chicken legs(fat and then stubby).REX is just something that looks like a 10 year olds LEGO structure.RAY is harder as you fight against mass-produced clones of it ran by GW A.I. rather than one-EASY one.
I didn`t like Raiden in MGS2 though-he just looked and talked like a woman.Even if i had to play someone other than the be-known Solid Snake-at least make him look and sound better-and not run around in a skimpy exosketalton,in MGS2 when i got the BDU-i kept it on til the end apart from when i had to pre-plan for rations.
The ShagoHod was not a Metal Gear style weapon-MGS3 is set in the 1960`s(and explains where the concept for MG came from too-it came from a Russian scientist called Granin..) and MG was only a plan not an actual weapon-the Hod was chosen because Metal Gear sounded like an "impossibility" to the Soviets in the 60`s and a supertank sounded more sencible as they thought a bipedal tank would be a technical nightmare-But Rev. Ocelot grabbed the Metal Gear plans after Big Boss`s mission as he thought "we might give it a try" but Ocelot kept them til about 40 years later(Or did he?-i`m guessing that MGS5 will be another prequal starring Big Boss-and he will take out teh first ever MG)

OVERVIEW ON MGS WORLD:

AS alot of people know The Metal Gear world is a "goodguy vs. badguy" game and at the moment had three protagonists :Solid Snake(Every MG game apart from the Mass Majority of MGS2,And MGS3) who tries to eliminate terrorist threats usually revolving on Nuclear weapons-and eliminating any super-power bad tanks OR Bipedal tanks called Metal Gear`s.He is used in the whole of MG1 and MG2:Solid Snake and also MGS1/MGS:TTS and 20% of MGS2 He will be played again in MGS4:Guns Of The Patriots.
For the mass majority of MGS2 You play one of his fans :Raiden who is not a fan-fave he is hated by lots of fans `cos he has girly looks,There is a parody of him in MGS3 who is lead villain Col. Volgin`s lover called Mjr/Col. Ivan RAIDENvitch RAIkov who you have to steal his uniform off.In MGS3 you play as Naked Snake who has been betrayed by his mentor-The Boss who had HER own Military unit-The COBRA Unit during WWII But has defected to the GRU wing of The Soviet Union.
Naked Snake is actually BIG BOSS who was defeated by Solid Snake in "Outer Heaven"in MG1(I say defeated bcoz he could possibly be returning in MGS4-So he may not be dead)-After his mission he was given a codename "Big Boss" as he defeated "The Boss" in his mission-I actally hope he returns in MGS4 he is great.

MGS:THE TWIN SNAKES REVIEW:

MGS:TTS is a remake of one of PS1`S BEST games MGS1 This time Solid Snake can do manouvers from MGS1 like hanging from ledges,shooting in FPV and uses some MGS2 Weapons/Items like a Guns Clip mag.,M9 Tranquilzer gun,PSGI-T Tranq. sniper rife and a Pornographic magazine that all the guards love to Stare at.

STORLINE(SAME AS mgs1)

FOXHOUND a special Forces team banded by Big Boss and Major Zero(found out on MGS3 Timelin) back in 1970 is now using the "Nxt. Gen" soldiers altered by past super soldiers` genes amogst them is one of Big Boss`s clone sons called Liquid Snake is demanding Big Boss`s isolated body(preserved by the U.S. Government),1 Billion dollars CASH and a cure to the Fox-Die Non-natural virus if those demands are not ful-filled within the deadline they will lanch a Nuclear Strike on them-Snake must save DARPA Chief Donald Anderson and ArmsTech president Baker and find out if they can lanch a Nuke-stike if they can, eliminate it.

GRAPHICS 8/10:They are good same graphics as MGS2.

GAMEPLAY:7.9/10:Gameplays good especially with elements of MGS2 In the MGS1 Storyline and environment-Fun stealth action.

LONGITIVITY:5.9/10:Its a very short game i`m afraid,Its a little easy too but its replayable as its fun,good Storyline and some extras as well as two different endings depending on your responce in the Torture bit-Meryl lives OR Meryl dies.

REPLAY VALUE:8/10:Even if its too short i replayed it a couple of times but i admit it ain`t as replayable as MGS2/MGS3.

CHARACTERS:8/10:Some good characters in this they are

SOLID SNAKE:A son of Big Boss,a Gulf War veteran and mostly a stealth expert-Untill the end of the mission he was just a cold blooded loner who went on the mission for something to do.like kill people.After the Mission he realises the world and realises he should make the best of life.After the mission he and ally Otacon form PHILANTHROPY a U.N. Organised unit:Snake,Otacon,Meryl,Mei Ling and Raiden are all probably operatives of PHLANTHRPY Unit.

OTACON:An ArmsTech engineer who was tricked into building Metal Gear:REX a huge fan of Japan-anime` and Otaku-Coventions joined PHILANTHROPY after MGS1/MGS:TTS-He is no combat speciallist but he is a good computer technition and an excellent Hacker.

MERYL:A green soldier-who is highly trained but no Past battle expirence,She is a Tomboy and has a crush on Snake-who himself as a crush on her.She is Col. Cambell`s biological daughter but is told that she is his niece by Her Mother and Roy.She has two fates life and death in the game depending on your torture response-But the true ending was that she survived the incident.

RECOMMENDATIONS:if you are interersted in MGS or stealth get:

Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance on PS2 Or XBox,No need to bother with "Sons of Liberty" Substance has the whole SOLgame asnd lots of other Missions as well.

Metal Gear Solid 3:SubSIStence on PS2,Snake Eater is an awesome game but Subsistence will be better as it has the entire "Snake Eater" game,Metal Gear 1 And Metal Gear 2,Onlineplay,a funny Demo-Theater as well as extra Camoflage/Facepaints.

If you really wanna play MGS1 And DO have a GameCube and/don`t have a PS2 get MGS:TTS if you onlu own a PS2 get MGS1.

P.S;

MY MGS4 theory:

is that Big Boss may be alive,or if he is dead rivived in an exoskeliton and given a sinse MGS4 is set after MGS2 and set in near future he could have been given something that will stop him dyin` from age or suffering from it like reversing his age to something like thirty and then he relives from there.Some people i know thinks that makes sence,i CERTAINLY do, hope this is to be.

At the end of MGS3 Big Boss and EVA are at his house and have a little "Celebration" and sleep together,In the morning she leaves and takes the fake "Philosophers Legacy" and so on...Some people believe that Eva was the host mother of the "Les Enfants Terribles" cloning process of Big Boss-Others believe that one of The LET children wernt actually born in that project at all-I believe that SOLID was the natural one typically-But considdering that Solid Snake looks quite old in MGS4 He could be a LET child-If thats not a mask that is-Which i dearly hope so.Another thing is that Eva could have had a child(Big Boss as father) who was not in the LET project at all-Neither Solid,Solidus or Liquid but someone else-Who ever He/She is i am thinking if so thar person may have a copy of that picture EVA took of Snake with her button camera under that waterfall-and any pic. of EVA-Y`Just never know hope my theories are too be-but thers lots of theories i will geta PS3 like 1 or 2 years after its release along with MGS4 if the reviews and so on are positive..

Snake, the famous soldier who successfully exposed metal gear to the world in shadow moses, is coming back for a remake in twin snakes. I wish it could have been on playstation 2, but sony wouldn't fund it. So blame sony if there is anyoen to blame for this tragedy, otherwise, I am looking forward to this remake, as it will bring up some memories.

The Best Metal Gear Solid

Nintendo's Gamecube is full of great re-releases, new games and full enhanced remakes of some of the best games of our time. All these great games have a release date of this year with the first most hyped and very popular Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes. It is a remake of the 1998 Konami hit Metal Gear Solid only for Playstation. Konami now is re-releasing this great beutiful title only for the Gamecube, all remade and all new cutscenes. New features and graphics will be updated, like guns and cliff hanging. Visuals and AI vastly improved for Gamecube. The sound is now Dolby Pro Logic 2. The game is 2 disc's which adds to the replay value. The discs will have bonus features which show the making of Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, and the setup on how the AI and cutscenes are created. The AI is supposedly extremely advanced compared to most games these days. The charecters and main theme is all original while the cutscenes are all redone so it will be completely fresh. The first level for instance might have a new setup to make it easier for you to use the first person view for shooting and walking around. The first person view is new and is said to be coming along perfect. This game is the best Metal Gear Solid game to ever be released. IGN gave Metal Gear Solid a perfect score while the second got a lot smaller score. The Gamecube version is now redone and remade everywhere so it will get a 100% perfect score.

Make a masterpiece better? I think so.

You will buy this game. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes will haunt you until you accept your destiny. You must play it. You need it. This review's purpose is not to convince you of anything, the sole purpose is that of helping you realise why you play video games. Never again will a re-made game deserve so much anticipation. The only thing they could do to make this game better is to offer it at a lower price. Oh, they did that too. Metal Gear Solid will forever be one of the greatest games made. I am also marking off the days.

This is one of the best Metal Gear games I have played. I love this. I will never sell this. This game is fun. Very recommended to all who have played and enjoyed the other Metal Gear games.

metal gear solid is a really good game it is devently worth buying if you have the cash. I would give it about 96% if it was me and if you see it for around 20 30 quid it is really worth it because it is such a amazing game
