Got Evil?

Resident Evil has always been a great series, drawing you into a b-horror movie world and not letting go until the end credits roll.A terrific narrative has been building over the many sequels, introducing more and more characters and showing us how deep Umbrella's rabbit hole really goes. Now we get to see what transpired before the mansion incident. We get to see Rebecca Chambers star and play zombie-blasting heroine, complete with a new sidekick. New mutants await, too, but that's a given. the visuals in Zero look to surpass even the Resident evil remake released on the Cube earlier this year, and that game was all ace graphics. These graphics will make your eyes salivate and beg for more. This game is the best reason to go buy a gamecube if you're still waiting for a decent, even remotely enjoyable game for your X(tralarge)-box. Go buy.

Looks like the best game ever

The Re remake scared me so badly. I have seen some of the pictures of the new RE0 and it looks so much more freakier and looks like it offers tons more stuff. I am buying it the day it comes out.

Something wicked is happening in the world of horror games, and it happens to be Resident Evil 0. It is a beautiful intermingling of terror in both sight and sound, playing with you in ways that go beyond the previously explored depths of horror that the last games offered. In this version, there are no more plot twists that mesh the other games directly into this one, instead giving us a moment of clarity that is interesting in some ways and claustrophobically strange in others. Now, we are given a clean slate by the producers, transporting us back to the day before everything transpired.
Included in this setup is something new, a feature that allows "partner zapping," letting you switch back and forth between two playable characters in real time. According to the producers, you end up controlling both characters approximately 70 to 80% of the time, allowing you to bring them both together or play them separately. This allows for some complexities to be introduced in the way of puzzles, plus provide obstacles that have been previously unheard of. This also makes it more difficult when you have to keep two people alive instead of one.

All in all, I found it a fun, if not quick, journey to zombified enrichment.

Getting it, definitely

This is going to be one of the greatest games for the Nintendo Gamecube, ever. The graphics are simply amazing and don't think just because you're on a train for most of the game, you won't have much to do. Far from it. You can be in three different settings. The train, the Mansion (yes, you do go to the mansion in RE0), and the forrest. Plus, this time you don't just play one character through out the entire game. With the C-Stick button you can switch between Rebecca and Billy instantly. Another side note, there aren't Magickal Interlinking Item boxes anymore that you can drop your stuff into. In this new Resident Evil, you can lay your item wherever you want, in any room, anywhere. We get to learn more about what happened to the former S.T.A.R.S team before Chris, Jill, Berry, Wesker, and the gang arrived. We also get to learn more about how Wesker got involved with Umbrella. This game is going to be amazing, and on my top list of games to get.

The reason to own a Gamecube

The Resident Evil series is the reason why I bought a Gamecube last November even thought the Resident Evil remake wasn't released until May of 2002. It was well worth the wait and no matter how many times I replay it, it still sends shivers up my spine!!
Once again I am anticipating the newest chapter in the series with Resident Evil 0. Who would have thought that you could improve on perfection? The details in the backgrounds alone will have you stopping just to admire the realism. And to control TWO characters at the same time is just an added challenge to game that delivers the goods.
The graphics in Resident Evil 0 look to surpass Resident Evil 1 for the Gamecube.
I own an Xbox and fully endorse it to the max but seeing and playing Resident Evil on the Nintendo Gamecube makes me wonder why they haven't made such a marvelous game like this.
Nintendo was smart in making an exclusive deal with Capcom so that they could be the only console with the Resident Evil 0, the Resident Evil 1 remake and Resident Evil 4. Though Resident Evil 4 doesn't come out until late 2003/early 2004, I can only imagine what they have in store for us.
If you are looking for a reason to buy a Gamecube then Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1 gives you two good reasons!!

GREAT ADDITION TO RE SERIES!

I've been wacthing this game since 2000 when rumors started. As a Die Hard fan of the Resident Evil Series owning all the Videogames including Survivor and Gaiden...this is a must have game for me.We get see Rebecca and the Bravo as their 'Copter crashes for no apparent reason. No items boxes will make it hard but the partner zapping system is something I've wanted since Resident Evil 1 in 1996.Their will also be new enemis to fight like Frogs,Scorpion and new Tyrant.Plus Wesker and Birkin are back to reveal more Umb. Secrets!I've pre-ordered my game and Guide i suggest you do the same.

BRING IT ON

Any comment I may add is only a drop in the sea of the RE fans thoughts, but I do like to point out that going back to the real beginning is so .....I have no words to describe it except I'm drooling for the idea that I'll be plying in where it all started...I cant wait for it to come out.

Gimme gimme gimme :)

I own resident evil 1 and I thought that game was awesome.

Few weeks ago I saw the latest trailer of Resident evil zero, and I was truly astonished. Even better graphics then part one and more fmv's are added which makes the game a must for every die hard Resident evil fan, including me.

I've been following the RE series since the begining, and I have to say that RE Zero will most likely deliver for all RE fans. Despite the few prblems with the zapping system that was present in the demo, RE Zero is a very solid game.
