Yeah! This game is smooth and exicting and fun! Let us get down to the Pros and Cons, and Review area:

PROS
1.Graphics ARE good, especially the Interceptor graphics and the Spyhunter Theme Intro Movie(though they are slightly fuzzy).
2.The Gamepla y(the way it controls, etc.) is great.
3.The Interceptor is slick and smooth, and it transofmrs into three different vehicles! C'mon! Interceptor Car, Motorcycle and Speedboat!
4.The levels are fun to play, and even fun to watch! The Matrix-like scene at the first level is cool, but corny.

CONS
1.Well, I guess the Saliva idea and music stuff is kinda useless and boring, even though I only saw 1/4 of it!
2.The background graphics are a bit N64-like and PSX-like.

REVIEW

The real deal:

FUN: 5/5 Why? Because all the levels are heart-pumping action and the weapons assortment is great!

GRAPHICS: 4/5
The graphics are good, but the trees and people may look like Porsche challenge for the PSX or a N64 game but the Interceptor itself is great.

REPLAY VALUE: 4/5
You can play the levels all over again, and my personal favorites are Dragonstrike, Double-Vision and I forgot the name, level 6.

APPROPIATE FOR ALL AGES: 4/5
The game itself is a little violent, but no blood or anything else. When you shoot a bad guy, they sometimes dissappear right when they get hit, or sometimes you shoot them and they fall down and dissappear. The fact that it is rated T is not that true, because there is not blood, and with all of the heart-pumping action you won't have time to see if there is any blood.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Fun, fun, and fun again. It is like playing Road Rash, Goldeneye 007, Porsche Challenge and Wave Race:Blue Storm all together. If you like anyone of those games, get it and don't regret it. The fact that it is a multi-game category is good, and I'd suggest this to all people. It features multi-player also, but you must finish all objectives in that perticular level to play it on multi-player mode. I recommend it, whatever the price.
Have fun, and go get NOSTRA!

...The game was fun at first, just driving around and blowing things up. I didn't mind the graphics at first, because I had not been playing anything else prior to this title. Well, the game is very simple: run around and blow things to smitherines, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But, the game could have been alot longer. There are a total of 14 missions in the game, and "cheats". These so-called "cheats" aren't cheats at all. By completing a level getting all the objectives and clocking in at a good time, you get access to some alteration of the normal game. But, they are not something that improves gameplay. The only fun "cheat" that you can get in this game is the SuperSpy option, which gives you unlimited ammo and life. But you have to get all 65 objectives in the game to access it. Don't worry though, I beat this game all the way in 10 hours. It was okay, for when it lasted. Now to the technical parts...

This game is a direct port from the PS2. It was good for the PS2, but it cannot pump out as much graphical power as the GameCube, which makes the game look horrendous whenever you have other games in your library made for the GameCube. They ported everything from the PS2, including loading times. It takes too long to get into a mission, and is especially annoying if you select the wrong one. The CGs are compressed, which makes them look smudged and sloppy.

Overall, I felt ripped off after picking this game up. I didn't plan to spend $[money]for a 10 hour game. I have gotten more life out of most of my Game Boy Advance games! The only reason that it got 3 stars is that it was fun while it lasted. The controls are simple, but you won't ever really need the defensive weapons, save for the smoke. I would not recommend picking up this game: it was too short for me.

This game is ok.

I used to own this game for my ps2, and it was good when I first got it, but then by the time I got to the tenth level, I realized that every level was almost exactly the same. The primary objective in each level was the only thing different, but the secondary objectives were almost the same in every level. Find all the satcoms, blow up all the radar towers, place a tracking device on all the trucks; all of it got really old and I found myself not wanting to play it. Some people may like repitive arcade shooters like this one, but I'm not crazy about it. My advise to you is just to rent this one before you buy.

This game gets old quick. The missions all feel the same but they are set in different levels. I wish I didn't buy this game. After the 5th level, I quit playing because it got too repetive. This game has awful graphics too. The people shooting at you look like they were cut out of cardboard. The ground looks really fake. It looks like it could have been made on the PS1 and still look the same. The only reason why it got 3 stars from me is because it is sometimes fun. I's worth a rental but not a purchase.

Heck yeah get it

This game is extremely fun and I play it every day 24/7. The reason why I like it so much is because of the action packed levels. ... You should definitly get this game.

What makes for a good shooter? Great graphics, great music, great controls, cool cinematics, and loads of replay value.

This game manages to not have (at least in my opinion) a single one of these things. The music is redundant and not particularly inspired (unlike the x-box version which is a bit of an improvement). The graphics are pixelated (much more than the other console versions) and no where near state-of-the-art. The controls are okay, but not terribly intuitive.

The cinematics are REALLY pixelated, just sub-par for what this system is capable of. But what really kills this game is the very thing that makes for a good shooter, REPLAY VALUE. The game is VERY short, and new missions can only be unlocked by accomplishing irritating objectives (like collect all of a certain item, or tag all of a certain vehicle).

There is no real incentive to replay levels. Unlike most classic shooters, there's no cool grading system, and no high score rankings. In short, rent this one before you buy. That's my recommendation.

this game is stupid!

I rented this game an couple of weeks ago, and was EXTREMELY dissapointed. The graphics are sloppy and the car handles like a 30 year old junker form the junkyard. It slides around on turnes, and accelerates very poorly. For some "super souped-up" spy car, it isnt very impressive. The gameplay is poor, and the weapons control is hard to learn between guns and defensive weapons. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
The movies between levels are very bad and

A few months back, I purchased what I thought was a good investment at the time, a Gamecube. Merrily, I thought myself both wittier and slyer than any of those puny, uneducated electronic salesmen who pleeded with me to get an xbox, while I skipped joyfully to my local best buy to purchase some games, singing 'theres a bluebird on my sholder' all the way. Still humming while I entered the store, I stood on my tippi-toes searching for the gamecube section amid a pletheria of palm piolits and DVD. Having a pre-established knowledge that the gaming selection would be limited, I gazed like a greedy child in a pastry shop at the games which I would consume over the following days. My breath stopped short when I made this astounding discovery: all the games were for little kids. "No no! This cannot be true!" I shouted to myself when I saw this. Looking again, I saw that, without a doubt, luigi's mansion was the only game available.

A few months later, after the inital shock wore off, I ventured back into the now dreaded Best Buy. This time I decided I would buy atleast 2 games, no matter how horrible they looked, as I had not gotten any use out of my gaming system. To my surprise and delight (not my wallets), that day ended with the purchase of 4 games, amoung that selection spy hunter rested.

Days were spend with SS Tricky and pikmin until I finally picked up SpyHunter. While inserting the game into the system, I rememberd why I bought this game instead of something like bond, when I remembered that ever-faithful electronic salesman saying that spyhunter was for the advanced gamer.

Days followed, and I found that my friend wearing the BestBuy shirt was correct, spyhunter was not an easy game to master, but isn't that exactly what we look for in a game? Nobody would buy Zelda if you could run around like Godzilla smushing every peon in your site, and likewise, a spy game should be a challenge, not 'BAM! Your dead! I WIN!' fest. Buy this game, you shall be treated as nicely as if it were a brownie-fudge cake!

Totally sweet. My friend has this on PS2 but this version is better. Looks better and is faster than the PS2. Only gripe is that you don't get the extra movies like the PS2 but who cares cuz the movies are just some poser rock band Saliva posing.
Get it. Dig it. Love it. Spy is back. Much better than Agent Under Whatever unless your idea of a good time is listening to lame Bond talk over and over and over....

Wow!

This game is great! I admit I wasn't so sure about it at first but now I love it. My only complaint is the graphics could use a little bit of work. Overall This game rocks! Buy it now!
