Burnout Legends was the first PSP game I bought. So, I didnt have too much of an expectation. But now I am happy with the purchase. Road Rage and Eliminator are the ones I like most.

There's one thing I didnt like about this game. There is some delay while loading events. The game itself takes a while to load initially.

Like most PSP games, the same games are more enjoyable on the or Xbox 360 on a big screen LCD TV.

This is a fun game to play on the PSP if you're killing time on a road trip, on the subway/metro or in study hall. I think you can battle others who have PSPs with the WiFi connection. Anyways a cool game, like the Need for Speed series too which are mostly outstanding games.

When does Gran Turismo come out for the PSP? That would be a treat.

Awesome graphics, insane crashes, crazy speed and tons of cars and tracks to choose and win from. This game so far has surpassed my expectations even after reading all the great reviews. I really don't have any negative thing I can say about this game. I find myself laughing and having so much fun playing Burnout..and thats pretty much what its all about. Different race modes to keep things fresh and new, crashes are great and always seem to be different..not scripted. Highly detailed courses and interactive roadside objects. I can go on and on...stop reading this and just go buy the game..you won't be sorry. Definitley worth the premium price. Burnout Legends is a winner!

OK, I normally don't buy racing games, because after a while, they tend to get tedious for me. For those of you who share similar opinions, don't let that steer you away from this game. Playing linked with other players or by yourself, this game rocks!!! I can't think of any other word to describe it. Whether you enjoy the race events (where you...race) or the crash events (where you...crash), this game has enough variety that it keeps it fresh. Personally I enjoy racing against a friend, aiming your car straight at them, and firing the boost for a takedown. Then again, it is fun going through the crash events to see if you can get gold medals by creating the biggest pile ups for big money (the more damage you create, the more money you earn). Big Fun!!!

This is my second Burnout game, and I am really impressed with the game. Burnout loses absolutly nothing on the PSP in terms of gameplay, graphics, sound, and value. It's a beautiful game, and one of those games that just rock to play on the go.

If you never played Burnout before, it's basically an arcade racer that takes you around the world. However though, what makes the game so fun is the fact that you can run people off the road all you want. Burnout is a fast paced arcade racer that will make you think fast. If you don't have reflexes, traffic will crash into you, you'll run into everything, and people can run you off the road. It's mindelss fun, sure, but it's a sastisfying racing game that has lot's of explosions.

Legends is basically Revenge's gameplay although some thing are taken out, but they really don't matter. YOu don;'t have to worry about crashing as much as the first games, because you no longer blow up just by bunping a car from behind. Generally, you will drive around like an idiot, crashing and speeding your way through different enviroments.

Gameplay is more important, but EA did a great job with the sound and graphcis department. The music is okay, it's not legendary music, mostly screamo bands, however, they go with the gameplay very well. Visually, it's some of the best tracks and cars I have ever seen in a PSP racing gam,e. All cars are shiny and sleek, and the tracks are detailed and make the game so fun to drive through. It's great to see the cars crash, pieces fly everywhere and a great wreck occurs. It's a treat to watch crash mode, with it's huge explosions.

Burnout legends last great bit is the variety of content. Besides the standard World Tour, there are standard races, time trials, 100 crash scenarios with 10 special crash cars, like buses, semi cabs, and a firetruck. Also ther eis Pursuit and the ever fun but furstrating when you lose Road Rage mode. The cars are also varied, as you get all kinds of vehicles. Both Old and new muscle cars. Coupes in all shapes. Hotrods and Gangster cars. Tuners, F1 cars, stock cars, all sorts of them. They are all sleek and shiny, and you also get cop cars. You also get alot of tracks, spawning different locations everywhere. You'll race all kinds of places. From a sprawling Colorado like serene enviroment, around a busltling airport, a beatufil island jungle, Winery Hills, Beaches, Interstates, Docks, and downtown, you'll be able to rush past all of this. IN fact, it's just great to time trial the game and rush past the course multiple times, crashing into things, and generally using it as your crashing and looking playground.

To further top off the chocolate sundae with whipped cream, there is a Wi-Fi game sharing mode. Too bad alot of PSP games support game sharing, because it's a very cool feature. Send you friends a demo of the gane, trade cars, bet your cars, or just beat their in a head to head racing duel. It's a great mode, and everybody know that games are more fun when it's a social expirence.

If you are a gearhead, this is a must get, along if you are just sceptical of the technicallty of Gran Turismo (although that game RULES).
It's a worth addition to the ever growing library of suberb racing games for the PSP. Oh and avoid the DS version. It can't compare with the PSP version, and I am not talking about just the graphics. Most racing games don't work well on DS besides Mario Kart. Just look at how awkard Ridge racer DS is with it's touch pad steering.

This game is probably the best Burnout game in my opinion. Crash mode is just a blast to play especially if you have the firetruck!

Great game, great buy!

Burnout Legends is an incredible racing game; the ultimate in fun, tire-screaming, opponent-wrecking driving. In fact, this title is so enjoyable, so visceral and rewarding, you might never want to play the unforgiving Gran Turismo series again! Even among the other Burnout titles, Legends has no peer. It takes most of its gameplay from Burnout 3: Takedown (PS2 and Xbox), which is widely considered to be the best of the series (superior to Dominator, Revenge, and even the recent Paradise City). Even years after its original release, this is still the most fun you can have in a racing game... and it will take you an incredibly long time to unlock everything!

Great way to relieve road rage!!

I own several of the Burnout series games for the PS2. I recently purchased a PSP (Sony should be paying ME at this point!) and got Legends. This is a GREAT version of the Burnout series! The UI is a little klunky, but the game itself is great. Very responsive and the graphics are excellent. It IS kind of hard to see traffic ahead of you, but it's not much more difficult than playing the PS2 versions! I definately recommend!!

This game exceeded my expectations. Great gameplay and great music. It has that "just one more race" quality that keeps me coming back for more.

As with a lot of PSP games, load times can be an issue, but honestly it doesn't seem much worse than the PS2 version of Burnout 3 (which is the only other Burnout game I own). In short, the load times are tolerable (and they give you a chance to rest your hands).

The music is great (I think about 20 tracks) and you can turn off tracks you don't like (though so far, I've only disabled one song).

There is a newer Burnout game for the PSP (Burnout Dominator), but supposedly that game doesn't include the crashbreaker mode so I went with the older version.

My one complaint is that on some tracks at high speeds it can be difficult to tell which way to turn in certain spots until it is too late if you haven't memorized the track (and with so many tracks, it would be difficult to memorize them all). I've also noticed that in some cases it seems slightly easier to crash another car than I recall from Burnout 3, but this doesn't detract from gameplay.
