This game just clings on to the title of Yu-Gi-Oh!
It is like PokeMon Stadium only with an actual storyline.
Go pick up the uncut YGO dvds, import the dvds, or play one of the YGO GBA rpgs; but avoid this game.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER

this game is good because of the music and rpg syle fighting system. if you like a good rpg game then this game would be my choice.

As much as you love Yu-Gi-Oh or RPGs, this game is boring.

The game can go so slow that you would want to rip your hair out. And then, so fast you can't keep up. The graphics recycle the same environments over and over. The sound isn't that great and there is no voice acting. The text is hard to read. It barely explains itself. If you like Yu-Gi-Oh, you will enjoy the characters, but not the crappy game. It's tedious and it barely has any variety to it. If you like RPG's, get Baten Kaitos or something. I don't reccomend this. Even to Yu-Gi-Oh fans.

These game was one of the best games I've ever played. The graphics in battles are awsome. If you get a game I recommend this. The best part is the gods. The cards that come with the game are zoe, metalzoe, and goblins fan. I love the movement but the game wasn't what I expected but it was still awsome. It's kind of like civilazation. Get this game if you have the money.

This game has fantastic gameplay and has a terrific storyline. it's 3on3 battle sequence makes it the best yu-gi-oh. it is grat for you to have all of the greatest yu-gi-oh stars on it as your marshals(leaders) in the middle ages. I love this game and really enjoyed it. i hope you enjoy it to.

I thought this game had good graphics and was very fun. the only down part about it was that the monsters move manually on what you order them to do, which makes it take a heck of a lot longer to finish levels. Also, another weak spot of the game is that you can't skip battle animation, which is an option most games have. all the same, it is another great installment in the yu-gi-oh world.

this is a really good game!

This game is not what I expected. I thought it would be dueling like on the GBA games but i was wrong. This is even better than dueling. You experience 3 on three battles and can earn monsters depending on who you choose Yugi or Kiaba. you also unlock charcters like on Yugi's side, Tea Joey and Espa Roba. your front monster represents you and you can command different teams to capture bases and then build many upgrades to the base like a anti-ground cannon which is a catapult turtle. Monsters appear from time to time so if you defeat them they join your army. You experience many landscapes like a lake and plain. Your monsters can learn specials that power up or confuse, paralize, poioson or blind opponents. I could go on but I just highly reccomnend this game for any gamer even non-Yu-Gi-Oh fans.

Your kids will love it.

It's funny that several reviews of this game are from September, 2003, a full two months before tis game actually shipped to the public! My 8yr old son is a Yu Gi Oh fanatic, and he and his friends love this game. One recommendation is a game guide because the location of monsters to battle is not intuitive and random, such that you could wander around quite a bit (and quickly get bored with the game's slow/non-existant pace) if you did not know where to go to battle specific monsters you want to meet. Even then, it all seems a bit repetitive to me, but the 8-9 yr old set eats it up!
