A Must Buy For Any Fan!

If you are a Yu-Gi-Oh fan I definetley advise you to buy this game for numerous reasons. This game is in 3-D and it takes place in the virtual world that Seto Kaiba made up. If you watched the three episodes on Kids WB you already know what happens. But basically you have to win your way through the game by beating other characters with your monsters. From what I heard it doesn't have too much to do with the card game but more with the monsters it's self. You can also buy monsters from the shop which is located in the city. One really cool feature in the game is the ability to use the egyptian god cards, Obelisk the Tormenter, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and The Winged Dragon of Ra. I bet you can also summon the unbeatable Exodia the Forbidden One and other cool monsters such as the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. I'm not quite sure which GBA game can be hooked up to the GCN version but it's most likely "Sacred Cards" then "Worldwide Edition." If you ever liked the Pokemon games like Stadium or Yellow version this is a little similar and you should really consider buying this game. I also read an article that says once the battles get more and more intense you can unleash spectacular moves and cool combos. If you're still not conviced rent the game from Blockbuster or something and experience it for yourself!

About the Falsebound Kingdom...

I read a few reviews and almost lost my temper, -certain- people have obviously reviewed without buying "The Falsebound Kingdom". First of all, this is not the same virtual world shown in the Yu-Gi-Oh TV episodes. Second of all, this is NOT AT ALL a 'virtual world that Seto Kaiba made up', Seto Kaiba received an invitation to test out a game for a company called SIC, and he got trapped in the process. Or at least that's what happens if you pick Kaiba's side. Also you CANNOT 'buy monsters from the shop which is located in the city', you start out with three monsters and find others while completing stages! In this game you control an army, and that's what you need the "gold" for. And yes, it is possible to use the God Cards, but I you probably cannot summon Exodia (Or at least you cannot summon him in game as of yet), and you have to, in one stage, defeat level 50-level 99 monsters to gain control of the three Blue Yes White Dragons. You also need a "Polymerization" Item in the game, and only then can you fuse the three BEWDs into BEUD, but you can only do that in battle. As soon as the battle ends, the BEUD is back to three BEWDs. I hope I've straightened some things out.

This game takes place in a virtual reality world. Make no mistake
this is not a dot hack game this is kind like pokemon stadium except with much ruffer monsters. You can be kaiba or yugi and yes oblisk and slifer and wing dragon of ra are indeed in this game and let me tell you they are huge. I don't know how the exodia works in this game but I know that you train your monster a max of 3 in a battle. This game also ha a finalfantasy 10 graphics so get excited cause this game is going to rock. Its going to be better than duelist of the roses and forbidden mommeris oh did I remind you this game is realsed the same day yugioh sacred cards is realsed. Just so you know this game is based off those two yugioh episodes you saw in kidswb. Thats all bye

In the game, you will be able to choose from 2 different stories, one featuring Yugi and the other featuring Kaiba, both stuck in a VR game with tough gameplay and hundreds of monsters. You will be able to build up battle teams of 3 monsters. As well as 3 on 3 battles, you will encounter lone monsters in the large landscape of the virtual reality world. Your monsters will gradually increase attack and defense power through training. A US release date for Falsebound Kingdom has not been announced at this time. It is also rumored that there is a adventure mode allowing you to be any character.

I bought this game the day it came out and I never have or will have any regrets. This game has got it all! Awesome RPG modes, great battle features, and you have to use some strategy. Plus it isn't one of those games that you buy then a week later you've beaten it or its goten boring. It keeps you busy for a while. Because even if you beat one campaign, there are two others waiting for you. (Joey's you have to unlock). When you start the next campaign all the monsters you got in the previous one are right there just waiting for more action. Plus I was glad to see it's brocken away from the same old card game, and taken duel monsters to a new level. In this game you can actually use the Egyptian gods too. Over all I'd give it about as many stars as there are in the sky. (to bad the ratings don't go that high)

Ok, I'm not *really* under thirteen... I'm just too lazy to start an amazon account or whatever... but about the game:
Yay! Fun! I'm not very far yet, but the graphics are amazing and so is the music... I LOVE video game music... *starts humming Legend of Zelda Theme*... hang on, sorry about that... *cough* Ok, one disadvantage to this game is that you can only save on the main map screen, which you can only get to between missions. Therefore, you cannot save in the middle of a mission and come back later. This makes things complicated. But other than that, I LOVE this game!

A Yu-Gi-Oh! Masterpiece

This game is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! game ever made. I have played each one, and for any hardcore fans like me, you'd know how after a while the card game based idea get's a little boring. This game is more of an RPG style, because you can walk around. The graphics are even better the graphics in Duelist of the Roses, and the storyline is good too. For anybody who is still enjoying the card game based games of Yu-Gi-Oh!, you may not like this game very much because it focuses more on the monsters then decks. You fight in groups of three and it is similar to Pokemon Stadium 2 since your monsters have HP (an energy bar). Your monsters also can do special attacks at a certain point of the game, and the 3-D graphics and colorful enviroments make those special attacks more interesting to watch. Finally Konami has made a a Role-Playing game discluding the game board used in the other ones, and if you like other Yu-Gi-Oh!, you will love this one.

THe best game in the world!

This game is soooo fuN! You get to play as kaiba or yugi in a series of battles. you have 3 monster teams the monsters are controlled by you. once you beat yugi and kaiba's side then you unlock the secret of the game which is.... well you'll have to find that out. the hardest part is when you face bakura on yugi's side. you have to take over a fort before him and then wipe out bakura's team. If you beat yugi's side you get the item soul of obelisk. YOU beat kaiba you get slifer's orb. AND winged dragon of ra well that's in the secret of the game so I suggest, BUY IT!

This was one of the first few games I rented and boy, was I dissappointed!

Music - STUNK - They keep playing it over and over...

Gameplay - Horrable - You just walk around, do the lamest battles over and over, then that's it!

Battling - Worst part of the Game - I couldn't handle it. Just take turns hitting each other. That's it. Sure, you can create a fort, but that's it!

Overall - I returned this within the first hour I rented it! It's that bad!

A big let down

I rented this game thinking it to be a fun RPG, but I was wrong. It starts out cool you pick Yugi or Kiba. I picked Kiba, it said I had to destriy a rebellion, sounds fun. I deployed my troops to one of there villages and on the way I was attacked by a monster. I tired to add it to my team once I had beaten it but I had to be back at this map to do it. So now I'm stuck with weakend monsters. I get to the village and I play aggainst this guy, It was so bad, who goes is selected by random so your opponet could go three times in a row! It has nothing to do with the cards! I lose so I come back and decied to try and find some monsters, There wasn't a single monster. The next day I went back to blockbuster and traded Falsebound for Kirby Air Ride. I actully had fun with that game. Why did I give Yu-Gi-Oh a 2 insted of a 0, Sagi the dark clowns attack, dark swoop looked realy cool. It was a huge explosion of dark magic!
