Don't get this game! If you want rent it first like I did at Blockbuster and you will see that it totally sucks! It's very upsetting because the characters that you start out with are not very good and it doesn't get much better. All you do is go around killing different monsters - that's the only fun part.

Good but not so good

First of the graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is very unique and one-of-a-kind for Yu-gi-Oh! However they could have made it so that you can type in a code and get that card. The gameplay invovles tactical RPG gameing skills but I still cannot figure out how to revive my team leaders (If you can). Any RPG gamer will love this game. Any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan will enjoy this. Anyone who hates Yu-Gi-Oh! or RPG games will despise this game down to it's interior and will want to destroy it at all costs.

The best game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a Yu-gi-oh fan BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing is the graphics are nothing to brag about, but the game is long so it is not like you are done in 5 days and it never gets boring like Pikman1 or 2. The other cool thing is that YOU CAN USE EGYPTIAN GODS CARDS HOW AWSOME IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can be Yugi and Kaiba!

Good Guys and Bad Guys in the game

In Yami Yugi's group are Yami Yugi, Shimon, Fizdiz, Tristan Taylor, Bakura Ryou, Mako Tsunami, Joey Wheeler, Mai Valentine, Tea Gardner, and Espa Roba.

In Seto Kaiba's group are Seto Kaiba, Mokuba Kaiba, Marthis, Bonz, Max-A-Million Pegasus, Labyrinth Ruler, Weevil Underwood, Rex Raptor, and Ishizu Ishtar.

In Joey Wheeler's group called the Black Dragon Squad (after you've unlocked his campaign by beating Yugi and Kaiba's) are Joey Wheeler, Jusell, Malakura, Tristan Taylor, Mai Valentine, and Tea Gardner.

Bad Guys in the game are Emperor Hayseen, Bandit Keith, Lumis and Umbra, Odion Ishtar, Arkana, Yami Marik, Strings, Yami Bakura, Joey Wheeler (controlled), Tea Gardner (controlled), various officers and Rare Hunters, Scott Irvine (who is the main bad guy of the game) and anyone else I forgot.

Could have done better

This game was pretty good and overall the layout of the game was great. But the problem with this game is the graphics. They stink. Some attacks overlap other monsters and ruins the realness of the story.
The gameplay was pretty straight forward. You start out as either Yugi or Seto Kaiba and you get teleported to this virtual world. You can create teams of three monsters and equip them with magic, healing, and equip items. As you get through the game you meet more characters (like isis joins Kaiba and ryou joins Yugi) and get more monsters (like Blackland Fire Dragon, Dark Magician Girl, and Blue Eyes White Dragon).
I really like this game and anyone who is a Yu-Gi-Oh fan that is trying to get a game that doesn't have normal duel play rules should get this game.

Good game with some flaws.

I've been a Yugi collector for a while now and decided to try this game out. Many people have negative feelings for it because it is a completely different game that does not follow the usual card game like Forbidden Memories does. It's more of a strategy RPG, combine Ogre Battle and Yu-Gi-Oh, and you have the Falsebound Kingdom. If you can get over the fact that it's different, then it's not too bad of a game. However, even the most hardcore Yu-gi-Oh fan will find some flaws in this game.
The gameplay and controls are pretty simplistic, and it doesn't take a while to get the hang of. However, you can't enter actions when you pause the game, and The cursor on the map tends to move slow and start in places that you don't want it to be. This can be a little annoying when you need to make quick moves on the fly.
The graphics and effects aren't anything to write home about, but are still decent. The biggest flaw stems from the lopsided AI. The battles don't seem to be in any order, and its hard to tell when which monster will get what turn. Monsters tend to narrow in on just one of your monsters, and overall batle can sometimes very annoying if you don't know what your doing.
Despite the flaws, overall it's not too bad. If you don't mind the different direction they took with it, then it should please any Yugi fan. It might not warrant a purchase for some, but at least a weekend rental.

Good, but a little simple for a GameCube game

It's a starndard RPG game.Yu GI Oh fans will like collecting and fighting with monsters, but aside from it's connection with the TV series there's not much that stands out in this game. I was disappointed in the graphics and not everything you do to improve your charactor is easy to figure out. On the plus side fans of the series will get to do all the things they do in the series, including fighting with monsters, using magic cards, creating strategies, combine certain monsters, etc.So if your a fan of the series and can get passed the cheesy graphics than this game might be for you, if not just keeping on looking.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
