Cool game - just like the show.

The best part about this game is the feeling you are working with the characters. The character voices are cool. The game is set up just like the show. The story was interesting, and it was cool that I didn't know what was coming next, just like the show. There were twists in the plot.
There isn't a lot of action or fast game play - its more about solving puzzles and figuring out the story. If you like doing that while watching the show, I think you'll like this game.

I recently finished the game. I finally convicted the guy! I got stuck in a few places, but I went to their web site and figured out what I was missing. In general I thought it was a logical game, like the show is, just harder. The characters looked good and sounded like they do on TV. I really enjoyed playing this game and would recommend it to any one who likes the show or who likes mysteries.

When I bought this game, I didn't think I would have as much fun playing it as I do. I'll admit it I'm hooked!
The game is just like television show complete with the actors voice overs for the characters.
The story starts out as you go to the scene. You piece together evidence from the scene, sending items to the crime lab to be analyzed and items for research, etc.
Time elaspes and you interview key suspects and witnesses to the crime.
You gather the evidence and have it sent to the crime and research labs. After time you put together who is the suspect based on the evidence.
This game is hours of fun. I agree with the above poster to go to the main game site for this game once you purchase it. And if you are considering it head there too because they have a demo of the game right on the site that you can play and try out before you buy.
This game is a must have if you are into mystery solving and like CSI type games.
Remember to always analyze every scene check behind objects for other things and you too will find yourself stuck at your computer trying to figure out whodunit.

I found Dead on the Money to be quick-witted and quite intelligent while remaining a lot of fun. I encountered a minor technical glitch which was quickly corrected by contacting customer service. I feel that this game is a great gift that'll fit a variety of interests - perplexed aunts and uncles, take note. "Dead" can easily outlast all the other one-shot games that have retired to the shelf to gather dust.

I wasn't sure about getting this Law & Order Game since I wasn't a fan of the show, But I was wrong this game is so cool, It was easy to install on my Window's XP system but if you get a black screen after the game has installed and you press play you will have to download the Window's XP Service pack 1 and download Java...Hope you enjoy the game.

I agree with a fellow reviewer on the box not listing all the needed requirements. We had to download upgrades to our NEW computer to even play this. Otherwise the screen would go black at certain points and shut down. It seems you need Direct X 8.0 The creators of Law and Order are negligent in telling you this so I hope you have internet access in order to get the patch from their website. Anyway, after you get everything you need downloaded and figured out; then it is an enjoyable game, but if you aren't willing to go through the inevitable hassle, please don't buy this game.

I just got this game by ups..couldnt wait to install ..game is just like the shows..kepted me on my feet and i couldnt walk away..is a def must buy for everyone..major 5 stars to legacy

My wife just got me this game for my birthday knowing I'm a hard-core L&O fan. It was great! I couldn't stop playing. It was so nice feeling like you're actually investigating side by side with Briscoe. I only wish this game was packed with more episodes.
To be honest, some of the puzzles were a little too hard for me and I had to get some hints from the Legacy Interactive web site. Nevertheless - it kept me going and I had a lot of fun.

I love this game. It has a few bugs, but that just means you should save a lot. But that's good for any game. This game makes you really think. It can be very hard to figure out just what you need because there are a lot of false clues lying over the place. The next installment of L&O is going to be even better because they have elimanated the time limits. That means you can investigate to your heart's content without worry that you'll be pulled off the case. And you'll be able to redo interviews with people. For instance, in this game if you don't ask the maintenance worker to move his cart, you can't move forward in the game because under his cart is something you need to identify the victim. But in L&O 2 you can just redo that conversation without having to either start over or begin from a save point. I can't wait for the new game. It looks to be better than the first which is awesome in itself.

I've been watching Law and Order for like 5 years, so I consider my self a pretty big fan. When I saw there was a game, I thought it was going to be alot of watching stuff, and not alot of doing stuff. I was wrong since your can do alot. The story is like what you would see on tv. Some actors from the show are in the game which is one of the best parts. Briscoe is like he is on tv. To bad Jack McCoy isn't in the game cuz he would probably be better. I figured out the best way to get through it is to save, save, save!!! So then you can load it and try something again.
