It just gets better...

Seeing that I'm old enough to have played through all the previous releases of Harvest Moon (Super Nintendo, N64, and Gameboy Color), it's definitley a thrill to see the game getting better - more solid, well developed, and fun. This game requires patience; you're clearing your farm to grow and raise crops and animals as well as getting the girl you like to notice you and getting the rest of the villagers to like you so you won't be kicked out. One of the most important things you need to do in this game is budget your money. Believe me, you can find yourself running out fast and not having enough if you don't. The best thing is, you'll actually acquire the feeling of great accomplishment - you'll feel proud of your farm to the point that if your file is ever accidently erased, mutitaled, or destroyed, you'll get very, very angry (to say the least). Therefore, buy this game! You'll get a kick out of it, and the replay rate is quite high, since you can always go back and marry different girls, etc. (oh, and you have rivals too, so get your beloved fast, before your rival does!)

This game is very interesting. You can get married and have kids. Raise farm animals. Harvest crops. Make friends and enjoy it in every way possible. ITS A MUST BUY!!!

This is the best game you'll ever play. I have played every game in the Harvest Moon seris and though the idea of a farming sim might seem flat out weird, it actually adds up to a great, entertaining, fun for all ages game! Because of it's non-linear nature, anyone from little kids to adults will be greatly entertained by this game. Therefore, it would be a great gift for game enthusiasts and amateurs alike.

tHIS IS DREW AND THIS IS THE BEST GAME FOR ANY AGE. THIS IS A GAME WAY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS; NO KILLING,CUSSING,SEX,OR OTHER THINGS. THE ONLY THING WRONG ABOUT THE GAME IS YOU CAN'T STOP PLAYING. i'VE FOUND MYSELF PLAYING FROM 8:00AM TO 2:00 OR 3:00. tHERE IS JUST SO MUCH TO DO. FARMING,MINING,TAKING CARE OF YOUR FARM AND ANIMALS, AND MOST IMPORTANT;MAKING FRIENDS. i DON'T OWN THE GAME BUT I'VE BORROWED IT FOR 11 DAYS AND IT WAS GREAT. ALL OF MY FRIENDS LIKE IT SO MUCH THEY HAVE OR ARE GOING TO BUY IT. iT IS A BIT COSTLY BUT WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is the best game you can think of for someone with nothing to do and too much time on their hands. Not only is it different from all the rest (the unique part being that it is a farming game), as long as you meet certain requirements, the game never ends. You can play the same game, living a farmer's life (planting crops, taking care of animals, upgrading your farm buildings...) day after day, or once you get married, have a kid, and go past year four (nothing new happens after that), you can start all over again with varied gameplay. There are choices you get to make, as well. You can pick from five different women to marry, which crops you plant, how you lay out your field... it's a game of endless possibilities. Truly the best game I have ever played.

This game was so fun! Even after you beat the game there's still tons more stuff to do. This game has all types of great features, you can win the girl of your choice by giving her gifts and such. You can also earn the villagers trust by giving them gifts too. You can also participate in annual festivals such as the cow festival where one of your cows will be judged in a contest, or even the winter thanksgiving where your female admirors give you sweet treats. You can also harvest all sorts of crops from tomatoes to strawberries to pumpkins! With this game, the fun never stops!

I love it!!! You'll love it too!!!

First of all, I love Amazon.ca. You can find anything that's not in stores (well, most of them...) at Amazon.ca. Okay, okay, okay. I know what you're thinking. "What does this have to do with the game?" Well now I'll talk about the game. Let me start by saying that I love it. Ever since my best friend lent me the game, I knew I HAD to have it. The game is very addictive. So watch out! He he he... The story is that your grandpa -- that owned a farm -- passed away. The farm was very beautiful and was full of life. But since he passed away, the farm, uh... *cough*, wasn't that beautiful anymore... and that kind of stuff. You, the player, decided to put some "life" back into the farm. You have three (3) years to put some, uh, "life" back into the farm. You plant seeds to grow crops and flowers, take care of cows, sheeps, a horse, a dog, chickens and even have fish as pets!! You can get married, have a child... You can do renovate your house and the barns, oh... I can't write it all because you'll be reading for hours. Lol. And we wouldn't want that, now would we? Ha Ha! I love it because it has loads of fun things like festivals and little adventures... It's fun. Like I said, it's addictive. So, you can play for hours! I also recommend "Harvest Moon 3 for GameBoy Color" (When you're on the go, he he he...) and "Harvest Moon for Nintendo 64". And the "Harvest Moon Strategy Book". So, in a few words: You'll Love It!! Everybody loves it! (Hey, it's true!) I hope you liked this review! : D

This game has many fun features that will keep you addicted to watching yourself gian money. This game has stratagy and you have to make money and grow crops. Very fun. I recomend it.

Your a kid that has inherited a farm and you have to keep it afloat for four years. Everyday you wake up and feed your animals, play with your dog and horse, and water plants. Sounds boring huh? For some reason it really isn't! There are hidden items that you can sell and people you can become friends with, creating little cute scenes between the characters. You can even get married and have a baby! I truly recommend this game, i like it even better than the PS2 one!

Harvest moon,B.T.N.is a refreshing adventure into a world where you return to your late grandpa's farm, and the townspeople welcome you-on one condition-you have 3 years to return the farm to it's former glory(1 yr.=4-30 day seasons)!First off,You must clear your fields for crops, get aqquainted with the villagers,& figure out how to make money,and how to be efficient with your finances and time.You must work hard,of course, but there are many festivals to attend,girls to meet(court),and if you want, you can watch t.v. to watch farming shows,weather or even shop.This game isn't your average r.p.g.,no monsters or magic spells,but has r.p.g.qualities as well as life-sim.Non-linear gameplay allows freedom to do tasks,chores and even take a refreshing dip in the hot springs! There will be more than plenty to keep you busy.I promise.
