have to play the game 3 times just to get the good stuff?

I was wondering why in faydarks green forest, was I carrying nearly $380,000 in gold while nearing completion of the beginner level, I thought my character was buff enough at the end. BUT, having completed the first level of difficulty and now playing the COURAGEOUS level, it seems now my character couldn't stop its own grandmother from getting a second cup of tea. and as I continue playing, I noticed that I'm replaying the game. period. The enemys are now harder to kill and can put a severe hurtin' on you, but They are the same as before! they don't look any different! same world levels too. AWWWW COME ON!! Must I continue playing the same thing just to get to wear and wield the good stuff? I was hoping that maybe there is a side adventure where your character and maybe your friends get to fight in some massive campaign in some climactic epic battle free for all against hundreds of orcs, goblins,skeletons, coming at you with arrows and spears raining down on you! HOOHAA!!!! now that's worth going through the game 3 times!!!, but there AINT no battle like that in this game. sad. oh well, at least your character will look good and gucci would be proud.

this game is so freaking awsome i played it a freinds house
but u know we took turns online man my guy is a lvl 28 dark elf shadow knight (his name is ''THEDARKDUELMASTER'')
so if you see me youll know because my sword is a very uniuqe one because its really jagged and freaking long and if u help me fight all those guys ull see my sword literly bleeds buckets of blood and stroke after stroke so if u really like blood get like $50,000,000 and then u can buy the ''blood stone'' and then equip it to ur weapon and well ull have buckets of blood come out of ur sword or whatever weapon u got so yeah if ur online look for me remember im ''THEDARKDUELMASTER'' dont worry i wont kill u but my freind might so look out for ''THEARROWFREAK'' he will most likely kill u so plz let me know (online wit the headset) that he did and ill kill him for ya.... thx for ur coporaion

I played a demo of this and I was impressed. There are tons of goblins and orcs and stuff and weapons. I get different ones every time I play. Plus the levels are huge. You should buy it, or check it out in OPM issue 78.

I dont see why anyone wouldnt like this game.with thousansds of weapons and armor why wouldn't you.I am a big fan of games like this : Baldurs gate DA and DA 2.With over 50 levels spand through out 5 stages, I will be playing this game alot.

Buy this game!!!

Best RPG out there - bar none. Tons of replay value. The sequel, Return To Arms will have PVP too, and a level cap raised to 80, where importing your CoN characters is allowed. This is my most played game in the house, and I own 3 different consules. I have been playing with a friend for months now on the same characters, and we still haven't reached the level cap of 50. My friend has this Ranger with arrows that are so powerful and thick with fire they look like cruise missles that take the monster clear across any room. There are endless combinable findable runes that you stick in the empty slots found in the weapons, so that you are always upgrading and planning for your next really killer battle. Buy this game and play it 'till it melts to slag in your PS2!!!

This game is about as intresting as watching your cloths tumble around in the washer. First off I would like to state that I love RPG's and have been playing them for 11 years , but this game is so unstrategic. The only thing you have to worry about is your thumb becoming numb from hitting the X button so much from mindless hack and slash. there is no tactics or even a hint of stratigic combat what so ever. That pretyy much sums up the combat, remeber... hack and slash and your an expert as this game. The graphics I will have to say are fairly good, Though the blandess of interaction in the dugeons kinda takes away from all the "owww and ahhh, look at that". You have your typical pools of water that you run through and create realistic ripples as you wade trough them. If you search hard enough you'll come across a barrel or two that you can ignite and watch it blow up, don't even think that you can utiilize it in combat ,cause you can't , by the time you light the fuse you have about 1 second before it blows up. Other than that there is no other interaction in the dugeons, but make sure you have plenty of fun igniting barrels and trying to run away from them before they blow up and take you with it. Sound quality is pretty good if you have surrond sound. The sounds of steel against steel really seem to raidate with echos throught the dungeons when in combat. The music is your typical "wanna be epic", type of theme, thats rather repeative and dull. The small cut scenes you run into before you battle with a boss or prepare to attack a horde of goblins and orcs are absolutly terrible, You will see many orcs and goblins raising ther weapons in the air and shouting, but all you hear is a very anticlimatic grunt that competly ruins what very little gaming adreniline thats left. For character customazation....I get lightheaded thinking about it. You have three hair styles and color to choose from,three skin complextion, and 2 two sexes and thats it you character is complety and utterly your own truly customized character,HOOORRRAAYYY!!! after you finish the very "in depth" character customization, you are ready for battle, but wait what about weapons and armor. The one thing to always rember in this game is gold is meaningless. I went through about 7 levels and 2 bosses before I bought anything at all. I came across 10x better armor and weapons from orcs and goblins that I slayed with my yet again, hack and slash technique. The nly item you may need to purchase is arrows if yourr character uses ranged waepons, That was the only thing I liked about charater creation, was you resource managment for your arrows, I find it more intresting when you have to actually try and survive. All in all I only reccomend this game to people playing a RPG based game for there fist time. The little interaction and simple character customaztion is definalty a beginners level. If your looking for a long, drawn out, epic, real time combat based RPG than avoid this one at all cost and try Fable for x-box or somthing in the Zelda saga.

I GOT THE DEMO THE OTHER DAY, AND THIS GAME ROCKS. THE GRAPHICS, GAMEPLAY AND CHARACTERS WERE FANTASTIC. I USUALLY DON'T LIKE RPG BUT THIS ONE IS A MUST

i was expecting this game to be really good, along the lines of baldur's gate, and it started out that way. but then i kept playing. i was a cleric, and i think i had about four different weapons the entire game. i racked up over 500,000 gold because i had barely anything to spend it on. it's a good hack and slash, but the only driving force is getting to the next level. there's no saving up to buy new stuff because there's nothing good to buy, and hardly anything i could even use. same goes for the spells, which were practically useless. played it once through, but not going to again

This game is a great way to get people interested in the MMORPG EverQuest, but I do feel that it tends to be too repetitive.

My wife and I played this game all the way through on the first two difficulty settings (she plays a cleric and I play a shadow knight). The worst thing about this game is the limited distance that 2 or more players can get from each other. This isn't so bad in the dungeons when someone gets trapped against a wall; however, durring boss battles one player can trap another in the corner of the screen with the boss.

If you think that playing on easy level is, well, too easy...just wait until you are playing the more advanced levels, where the mobs (monster or beasts) have more hit points and do a heck of a lot more damage. Overall, despite its repetivness, this game is very addictive.

If your a big fan of cut and slash then this is the game for you, the game includes a good character building system and is very ally/enemy interactive. At the start of the game you are allowed to choose from five different characters of the usual scource(barbarian, necromancer, rogue, scorcerer, cleric. Whats also great about this game is you can also go online if you have the connection and you dont have to share screens with other players. The graphics are more advanced than previous cut& slash such as baldurs gate, shows some awesome spell effects, main downside to the game is i think they could have made it a little longer, i guess it made up for that with the three different vehicle levels which you can start from the beginning in with the same characters. I think you will enjoy it........worth buying.
