Fun action-packed game!

I've had endless hours of enjoyment playing this game. It reminded me of the original diablo with a few differences that made the gameplay better. If you liked any of the diablo games than you'll also like this one.

I found this game a bit too easy but there are times when the difficulty rating was high and it was certainly more challenging. The Prince of Hate can only be defeated a certain way regardless of what difficulty level you play. Once you figure out how to beat him and the other bosses you pretty much got the game cornered. I liked the character customization at the very beginning. You'll also notice that all the NPC's you encounter that are female have very noticable endowments to say the least. The game is prone to crashing if there's but one small scratch on the disc or if your PS2 isn't at least a year old. Yeah that bites and this is the only reason I don't give this otherwise enjoyable game more than 4 stars. The bugs will annoy you after awhile. I am fortunate enough to have ordered a game that's bug free, but I've heard other folks complain mostly about the bugs in this game. Well, I suggest renting first.

I was first introduced to this game by a co-worker. I enjoyed the game so much that I bought my own copy. This is a great game. There are multiple classes to play as and multiple levels of difficulty. The replay value of this game is excellent. A must buy!

Solid Fantasy RGP

Champions of Norrath is a good, solid, fantasy RPG. It's only a fantasy RPG, so if you don't like those, you don't have any reason to play CoN. What's good about it is that it's a straightforward RPG -- make a character, slay monsters, gain levels, find/buy/sell weapons & armor, repeat. You can play online, but it works just as well solo. Camera control is limited (always looking down, so you can never see the horizon). Some online "support" features are missing (no friends list, players are known only by their character names), but once you & a few other people join together in a dungeon, it works well.

This game has many adventures. The characters are not weak. Opponents are ok. Bosses are the funniest. they can be very challenging and on two players, we watch each other scream like little girls when the boss kills us(it is funny.). It is a awesome game.

This game is awesome. Over this last summer, my boyfriend and I played Balder's Gate II: Dark Alliance and we both loved it. We have been searching for similar games when I found Champions of Norrath. I looked at tons of reviews before buying it and I find it to be very fun and almost identical to Balder's Gate II. Not the story line, but the battling and concept.

I love that each character comes with a male and female version, and you can customize different looks on your character. One thing I dislike though, is how the magic in the game doesn't give the character as much level up points as actually battling with weapons.

The first game I played, I was the Cleric, and my magic was awesome but my weapons sucked. I couldn't use practically ANYTHING! We started the game again because of a flaw in the game (Don't go into the Vampire's house until you have the boat and are looking for a navigator.) And now I am playing the Night Elf thing, and my attacks are killer, and my magic is okay. In Baldur's Gate II, my boyfriend and I would level up around the same time. When I was the Cleric, he was about 2.5 levels higher than me, and now he's only 1. I think this is because of the magic I used when I was a Cleric.

Overall, this game is stellar and if you have loves ones who play video games, play it with them. It's awesome and totally worth the $$$.

This has been a very enjoyable way for our family to spend time together. The character possibilities are great and plot is engaging! I recommended it to all of my family and now each of my sibs is addicted as well.

This game is really quite good. There are many different characters to play as. There is no difference between the male and female of each species to play. That's a nice change. The zoom is a little lame, but you want to see ahead for you most of the time anyway. There's around 25 hours of play time the first time through. Some of the bosses are challenging, but not impossible to figure out. If you like Baldur's Gate, you'll like this game as well.

didnt buy it here, but its great

it was great game while people were playing it online. kind of like diablo. the story is just about what you would expect from an action RPG where you can create our own character.

the sequel is okay, but due the expereinced crowd, its very hard for new players to enjoy online play. its just too ba this one was over looked. it didnt have many players online, but they few that were on could tell you that this was a great game.
