Dream turn to reality

Now this is a game that made my dreams come true. It had everything that i wanted in a game, gameplay, graphics, somewhat of a story, but TOO short though. A great game with a short story line. When i saw the credits i thought that it would be like an anime and seperate it into chapters, but no..it really was the end of the game which [made me mad]. It would have been a great game had it have a longer story. As for the gameplay, I was sooo happy, i always wanted a fast paced game. This game is FAST, ALA Dragon Ball Z fast, if timed perfectly, you can grab and punch the enemy into the sky and then be behind him and slice and dice them to the ground. Now that i see that a game is this fast...why not make a Dragon Ball Z game with this type of speed for the playstation 2. Aerial combat is VERY easy, what i always wanted. I feared aerial combat in Armored Core 2, because the computer had the advantage, its painful to control your mech in the air, but not in ZOE. If you like a fast game, then ZOE is for you..., it even comes packed with Metal Gear Solid 2. All i have to say is that Rendered cut scenes we use to see on the playstation, are actual gameplay scenes in this game. Its THAT good.

Great Game!!!!( most of the time )

This game is really pretty good (especially for a mech game). The graphics are nice and and smooth. The controls are of the best ever made for a mach game and pretty much anyone can master the controls the first day. The game is pretty short though which kills it some if your looking for a good, lengthy game. Also, beleive it or not as it turns out you have to beat the game which really [stinks] if you want to play any multiplayer and if you don't have a memory card its pretty much useless to beat it unless you just want to beat it.But its still a great game worth buying especially if you want to play a game thats just plain fun.

For Everything Good, Well, There's Also Bad

You know, i, as well as every other sap that REALLY wanted to play the MGS2:SOL demo also got a full game! Yep, Zone of enders came packed into the case as well, and it's not all that special.

I'll start out with the good, that way i'll make everyone all happy.

1._The_Camera_Work_Is_Phenominal!_ It Doesn't matter if you're off in space, fighting a dinky little robot, a huge boss, or need to hit something incredibly small, your camera will actually be your best guide.

2._The_Controls_Are_Top-Notch!_ While you are fighting bad things that want to hurt you (haha), you have a variety of weapons you can pick up along the way, and switching between them is simple & easy. Equally easy is navigating through the semi-dense environments, which aides in avoiding enemy fire, and deciding which enemy to take out next.

3._Graphical_Prowess!_ Well, While it's no (haha) Metal Gear, the game does stand on it's own two (very pointy) feet. The reflective nature of your... frame (Jehuty) keeps you from getting tired of staring at it the entire game, and when you're flying around the stages, fly along the ground, the trails left by your feet are extremely accurate, and in cities, you'll even leave spark trails.

And Now, the bad.

1._About_The_Weapons..._ Well, after about the 2nd (of about 15, i think), they all become useless, seeing as just rushing in before the larger enemies can attack you works best, and does the damage. The worst part about this is that you won't find the parts necessary for some of your weapons until you've finished 1/2 the game. Kind of reminds me of my computer, obsolete before i finished paying for it...

2._About_The_Maps_(levels,_areas,_WHATEVER)..._ Well, they do look nice, and some have some distinction (a church in this one, a few broken robots on a hill in that one), that look pretty much the same, and are pretty small, maybe the size of the maps on "Armored Core 2". The + to this - is that you can destroy any buildings that bad guys haven't already.

3._The_Ending..._ I'm not going to ruin it, but if you payed attention to the story while you played it, even a little, the leave-you-hanging nature of the ending will just kill you! Also, you need to complete the game to be able to play the extremely simple multiplayer mode, devoit of any power-ups you obtain during the game.

Anticipated Game

This is a much anticipated game. If you have read Ender's Game the book you are wondering "what's in it for me"...Well, not much. It's basically Bot Wars. This is an awesome game though...take my advice. I played it for a lot of time. The problem is that you can beat it in like 5 hours. Here are some codes. Go to this website for a thourough walk through,,,BYE

This is s fun game to play though it lacks amazing graphics and amazing game play. This game is fun but it get's kind of hard... to hard for the average gamer. Also the games graphics turn sort of squarish while you play. The game concept is really cool. Your a person inside of a gigantic robot. So this game is fun while it lasts but eventually it gets boring. All in all people are only buying this game to get the free Medal Gear Solid 2 demo. The Amazing Rater

Finally, a game to rise above all the trash....

When I first heard of ZOE, it didn't interest me much, but it was worth my money. The only reason I bought this game is bescause I went to the store and found all kinds of... games. The only ones I considered buying were ZOE and Starfighter. So if your tired of all these dumb sports games pick this up, it's worth more than just the MGS: 2 demo. It's a fast-paced game with the best graphics I've seen on PS2 that'll get you interested quicky. Unfortunately, it's so fast-paced that the game ends before you know it. Unless you want to wait for a five star game like MGS 2 or TM: Black, then ZOE is the game to get. And unless your impatient, then I'd suggest waiting for a good sequel, without that little nerd.

Great, great game!

Okay, this game is really cool! The graphics are amazing, when you're playing and in the non - playable scenes. The controls are simple, and easy to learn, so you can be whooping robot butt early in the game. The enimies are really cool, and they seem to be able to learn your regular moves, so be ready for a challange later in the game. The sub - weapons are amazing! When you are in close range of your enemy, instead of shooting a weapon, you grab him and throw him off somewhere! The sub - weapons range from throwing dagger - like weapons, to shooting a huge laser! What's cool is that once you beat the game, you get two - player! Once you replay the game, the missions are different, too! The only bad things in this game is... The story: It's A little cheesy, but it's interesting. The length: This game, if you're a true gamer, could be beaten in a day to two days. So, if you like Gundam Wing, get this game!

PS. It comes with a playable MGS2 demo! I give it two thumbs up!

Zone of the Enders- Game of the year

This game is truly a marvel. As young leo, you pilot the Mech known as the Jahuty. The best part about this game is the fact that you can destroy every inch of the backround. It is cool as hell to have burning buildings in the backround as you fight. Of course, you don't want to. Civilian deaths take quite a toll. Although it was short, it was, without a doubt, the best PS2 game of all time. Throw in a MGS2 demo, and it is a godsend.

Great game!

I admit it, I got this game for the MGS2 demo, regradless of what the actual game had to offer. But when I stopped playing the demo and put in the ZOE disc, I found a great game. The graphics are just plain gorgous. You can blow up just about anything, but I don't recomend it because you get a lower score if you do. The sound is also great but the voice acting isn't. It's not terrible but it just sounds like the actors are just reading it and not putting any fealing into it. It doesn't sound like the charactors are actually talking. The gameplay is fairly simple. You fly around shooting at the other robots, make sure you don't hit any of the buildings, and don't get killed. The control is very well placed on the Dual Shock and it makes it very easy to control, which is good since there will be a lot of multiple eneimes. When you're fighting, there's a very helpful zelda like lock on which makes killing things a breeze. Ok, now for the bad stuff. The story is probebly the worst part of the game. It's very short and simple. I was expecting it to be like a Metal Gear Solid story, where there's lots of plot twisting, and it always keeps you interested. In ZOE, I didn't really care what was going to happen to Leo. He's too much of a wimp to be a hero. The girl seemed more confident than he did. Voices, as I said before, were not that great. But at least they made an effort. Since the story is not so great, it kind of makes you not want to play it anymore, but it's still kind of good. I love the multiplayer feature thou. It's the first game I've seen in a long time where you don't have to have split screen! And if you don't think this game sounds all that great, than the MGS2 demo is certantly worth your money. Now that game, is INCREDIBLE!

This game starts the way this kind of game should and....

Imagine Gundam or Robotec, and how fast the fighting is and you get ZOË. You are in a frame that is as powerful as those machines and it keeps getting better! This game starts and ends amazingly! First off. The powers you have to begin with are cooler than any weapon you get in the game. You can fly and you don't have to worry about ammo or how long you can fly you just can. I can't say enough that's good about this game. You can blow up buildings, throw energy bursts, grab enemies and punch them across the level. And the reaction time is amazing.

One bad thing... the area's you fight in are confined to one area at a time they aren't small, however they seem like they could be bigger. I've won the game on every difficulty and unlocked verses mode (not that you have to do that to unlock vs. mode, you only have to beat it twice to unlock the full vs. mode) which isn't the best but you can play as all of the tough boss with or without a second player. Get it.
