Awesome game, but it needs to be patched

Fallout tactics is an awesome mission based Fallout military game. You pick a squad after your first mission and can have up to 6 characters. You get to have vehicles and all sort of things. The story line has twists like in the earlier fallouts. Cool new continues turn based games for people who perfer a more active battle but you can also do turn based. This is a great game with multiplayer on game spy thats a lot of fun. Graphics are way improved since the other fallouts. Its more mission based so you can concentrate more on fighting stats then other stats but its good to have a doctor and so on but its a great game. BUT!!!!! Since this is an interplay game they aren't very with it on what gamers are having troubles in the game. There are some graphical glitches in the game. A few bugs that people can exploit. The game can seem to lag and believe me I have 512 megs of ram and i still had problems when scrolling ove rhte map sometimes so the coding is a little on the long side but it seems to be a more sound programing in this game then the other fallouts. Its a great game the only reason its now cheap is because interplay didnt hype it enough and most people don't know about it or fallout as you would think. Plus its a little on the gore side so I know some people aren;t into that but there is a setting you can change to turn off or lower the gore and blood. Thanks for reading and BUY THIS GAME if you like fallout 1 and or 2 buy this game or even if you didn't like fallout 1 or 2 its still a great game for people teens and college age.

Join the Brotherhood of Steel, a technological revival group dedicated to restoring the world to its former prosperity through science and whatever means necessary. Take part in a quest to reawaken long-dormant technology in order to defeat a powerful enemy in the one of a kind Fallout Universe. Each mission involves various hostile obstacles that must be overcome using tactical skirmish warfare. The player controls up to six detailed characters in the single player mission-based campaign or they may use their chosen squad online in multiplayer battles. Squad-members improve with experience, increasing their skills and earning perks. Many varieties of weapons, from handguns to rocket launchers, allow the player to lay waste to his enemies. In addition, the fighting isn't limited to pedestrians, as squad-members may take the action to the streets with armed vehicles.

I am sure; if you liked Fallout or Fallout 2 you will love this game too (that is the case of me;) TO play this game you HAVE to think otherways you will just loose it

This is the way the game should have been from the beginning. I am not much of a fan of role playing because of in incessant dialog and having to wait your turn. I am a big fan of first person shooters and this game really hit all of my pleasure sensors.
The game is BIG! I really enjoyed exploring the levels. Lot of little things to keep busy. I liked being able to control my character in the middle of a fire fight rather than just stand there like a dumb lump and take hits.
The animation and background art is extremely good. Incredible detail brings the futuristic world of Fallout to life.

The best part is the bargaining, stealing, gambling, upgrading character traits and weapons. I have more fun at the bunkers than in the missions if that's possible. Just a great game all around. Highly recommended.

I bought this game three days ago and I haven't seen anything except the install screen about fifty bazillion times. I've tried everything I can to get it to run on two different computers. This thing is way to buggy to bother buying. Spend your money on something else!!!

If you happen to think that the Fallout games (1&2, that is) were GOOD, then you'll join me in thinking this game is horrible and shouldn't have been given the Fallout name. This game probably delayed FO3, as well as giving Interplay the idea that it doesn't need BlackIsle to sell the Fallout name(check out the FOT box, do you see the BlackIsle Logo anywhere?? HMM?)

80% of this game's sales were do to the hard work of the BlackIsle team for the first two games, and they were just cast aside for the SPECIAL system they made, as well as the genre they helped define. If they deliberately cancelled work on this project with Interplay, could you blame them? It has 0 story. NONE. Zip. Cero. Nada.

I am sorry this geme even exists, and even sorrier that I bought it without even checking for the BI logo. I support BI in all its games, but I hope it stops all this D&D BS and gets back to the basics. What made BlackIsle? Fallout

I you are looking for the storyline of Fallout 1 and 2, then you got the wrong game. It's based on the Fallout games, but group combat is the focus here.

THIS IS THE BEST RPG (and strategy too) EVER CREATED!!
23 huge missions of hardcore asskicking, dozens of multiplayer scenarios, tons of realistic guns, included campaign and weapon editors, real time combat added, UBELIEVABLE GRAPHICS AND SOUND!
First, i've downloaded this game from sharing program and i liked it so much that i bought the game to support the all-mighty Iterplay.
This is one of the few games i found worthy of buying.
the best part is that you can download more weapons and maps from the internet (http://freelancer.ag.ru is good example =))
